Advice on Next Step with PEDs (Age 41, Australia-Based, basic previous usage)

Hey fellas,

After a bit of advice about stepping things up with PED usage. I’m now based in Australia.

Bit of background — I’m 41, been training since I was about 12. Always competed in weight-category sports. Ex-Army Reserve. I carry a lot of injuries from sports abusing my body and a few years back I broke my back and had a severe L5/S1 herniation that left my right leg partially paralysed for a while, but I’ve come good and still train hard.

I’ve run very basic compounds here and there over the last few years, always on the lighter side — Test E around 200 mg/week (micro-dosed EDO), some Anavar cycles, and SARMs/Peptides before ever touching test. All mainly focused on aiding injuries and having a little boost as I’ve gotten older - “TRT” based improvements.

I stay lean year-round even when eating big (not by design). These days training is purely bodybuilding-focused — push/pull/legs split. Compounds are on the heavier side, lower reps (~8) but making sure I’m isolating the muscle not just moving the weight; accessories are higher reps (12–15) with more time under tension focus to failure. The later exercises in a workout I will tend to do lower sets (1-2). Can’t do much sport or impact anymore, so the gym is my main outlet. Previously weights would be focused for sports and strength, total body workouts, some bodyweight/mobility work, basic compound exercises using 3x3/5x5 rep ranges and some accessory work.

I’m 5’9”, 85 kg, aiming to eventually sit around 95 kg at a similar level of leanness. Due to my height I don’t think I need a lot of weight to achieve a good size.

Recently I was bumped off a few sites when trying to order as I don’t have any contacts here in Australia, but I came across UGLOz, and they’ve been absolutely solid. They’ve got great reviews on here, and from my own experience so far, everything’s been top quality — I’ve been using their Platinum brand Test, and it’s been great. Really happy with their choice of the MCT carrier oil too. I’m not a fan of the grapeseed-based blends a lot of underground labs use — I’ve had bad reactions in the past, with irritation and painful lumps that lasted days, sometimes weeks. Core Pharma in particular didn’t agree with me at all and I don’t thing it did anything for me tbh, felt very flat and like I was taking nothing. Back in the UK it is a lot easier to find genuinely high-quality gear, so it’s been a relief to come across UGLOz.

I’ve been researching compounds and leaning toward Anavar, Masteron, and Primo — I like the sound of lean, quality gains with fewer sides. Seems hard to source in Australia though and seems to sell out for long periods.

I’ve been looking at Deca/NPP and Dbol, as they’re easier to find, but not really keen on the excess bloat and temporary weight through water. I know I’ll need to accept a bit of softness along the way though. I’ve no interest in ever touching Tren or Oxy’s.

My favourite physiques have always been the golden-era guys — Franco Columbo, Frank Zane, Mike Mentzer — that blend of density, proportion, and clean conditioning is what I’m chasing.

Anyway! Just keen to hear from others on:
  • Stack setups for lean or quality gains
  • Anti-aromatase use, how and when (Arimidex, Aromasin, etc.)
  • Whether anyone runs Peptides/SARMs alongside test, during or between blasts for maintenance
I’ve just ordered some test and dbol so for my first cycle I’m going to run a higher dose of test at 400mg a week split into x2 doses for 10weeks and 20mg of Dbol a day for 6 weeks

Recently had a heart health check and bloods with no issues.

I know some people may react differently to different compounds but I appreciate any insights, feedback, or personal experience from those who’ve walked this road a bit further. Trying to do things properly and sustainably, and I have downloaded some of the ebooks on here also.

Between cycles I’ll stay on a cruise dose as the test has really helped me with my injuries etc.

Then start with the Dbol you bought but don't end with it, and accept that you'll get some slight puff

Stack setups for lean or quality gains
Test/EQ and with how you look in your pics I'd say you're low enough body fat for some MastE. Since you don't want bload those are your best lean gainers.
So Test/EQ/MastE for a 16-week blast
Test 400mg
EQ 200mg
MastE (this can range widely between people) 300mg

Anti-aromatase use, how and when (Arimidex, Aromasin, etc.)
Always aromasin, it's easier to dose and more forgiving on e2 crashing

Whether anyone runs Peptides/SARMs alongside test, during or between blasts for maintenance

You have enough experience and info just in your first post to start an amazing log bro!


HOW and WHY TO LOG?

Why is a Log Journal important?
Accountability, self esteem, and consistency all which lead to RESULTS!

Authoring a log will actually help you way more than just dropping random updates. When you lay it all out week by week you start to see patterns in your body that you won’t catch otherwise.
Other guys here run logs all the time and there’s no privacy issue, nobody is asking for your name or anything personal, it is just training, diet, and how the compound feels.
The feedback you get is also way better because people can follow along and spot things you might miss. It also helps the next guy who is thinking about running the same compound so you are giving back while you learn.
Even if you think you might not stick with it, just starting the log makes it easier to come back and add quick notes. That way you get more out of what you are running instead of keeping it all in your head.

To really guide you we need more info from you:
Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread using a full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
It will take 15-20 minutes max.
We have 100's of years of experience between us, so you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight, height, age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.

Do you still want to have kids? I recommend becoming as learned as possible on steroids in this order:

  1. PCT (after steroid usage how can you come off in a healthy way to get your natural test, hormones and HPTA back up and running)
  2. Diet/Supps (we must see you have this dialed in with the proper macros and calories and supplements)
  3. Training (we need to make sure you're training is consistent and proper)
  4. Steroids (then, if you trust this forum which you should, we will get you squared away for a proper cycle suited and tailored to you)

For sure start a log, I just went through a 8 week cut using Test and Mast with good results - you can have a look through my log.
I am now using Test, NPP, Bold Ace and GH to lean bulk - which is also something that could work well for you.

I would use Aromasin - Adex is too volatile.

You can start a new thread as per the how-to and pick a title for your log and post pics of yourself with face blurred. Take the 20 mins to type all the info you can and your log can be approved and we're off to the races.

You look good in the pics and clearly have the structure for cuts and mass, but before anyone tells you to run that 400 test and dbol you need a full log up because right now we know almost nothing about your day to day training food recovery or how you actually respond.

A proper log will help you dial the cycle in clean and keep you safe, so drop your weekly training split weights food and current protocol and we can build the right setup for your goals instead of guessing. 15min of your time to change your life :D

I’m going to set up the log now, I want to make sure I’m getting the best advice, and although some might say Test and Dbol is pretty basic, I want to approach it the right way and set myself up well for subsequent stacks.
