PCT Update

Finally got my bloods back. Shocked is to say the least. Even after 6 months prior, my HPTA kickstarted and is seemingly overloaded at the moment.

There are some great numbers and worrying numbers as well. I'm at the point where I think Clomid50/Nolva40 per day right now may not be appropriate anymore. Thoughts?

I can also see other scary looking numbers like super low Prolactin which might be a lab error?

Also why am I insanely insulin sensitive...?

Test and free test on the low side and e2 on the high side you'll need to do something about this like mod an ai in there low dose aromasin to get it to 90-100

Thanks so much for your support to date @LevButlerov . It's awesome that you spend some time to help the community out like this. Thank you!!!

I'm currently using adex then I'll swap to asin when it arrives. Currently intending low 0.5mg 3x per week on adex/asin.

My HTPA has already started, and it looks like it's overloading right now. Note this was a blood test just BEFORE even taking clomid/nolva. I feel like I should be stopping clomid/nolva now and let my natural hormones balance out? Or should go into lower dose?

Those are great numbers given where you’re at now. I’d still follow through with clomid although not so aggressive with the dosage. Need to manage e2 also. Re-test in 2-3 weeks.

i suggest cutting arimidex and swapping to aromasin soon as it gets there

stopping clomid nolva for sure you need to do it but pyramid down

You might be thinking another terrible sleep but this time Oura is slightly wrong. Although the sleep was short because I had to get up at 4 again to go to work, the entire night was uninterrupted. (The little short sleep near the end was me trying to catch a bit more sleep on the train)

Who would have thought that only 0.5mg of DSIP would completely change the game. This is just first night of data though so let's not jump to conclusions until more data presents itself.

I'll still rate last night for what it is,

I'm working in the office today so have no access to my favourite peptides until I come home. Missing the ss31 already 😞

Originally I was intending to pulse DSIP EOD (to reduce dependence) but because last night sleep was too short, I plan for another 0.5mg tonight to get more meaningful data for tomorrow.

Loving your updates mate! How are you finding the ss31? It’s a big peptide stack you getting any bumps in the fat or fat pain?

Pleased to hear about your DSIP I heard previously that the results for many have been negligible, hopefully the good sleep keeps coming! 😀

Thanks brother! This question is kinda hard to credit specifically to SS31 since I have a full stack running that covers broad spectrum, but what I have found is that:

- During my pre PCT stage where I was purely running hcg and hmg to boost my test, my training didn't feel impacted at all. If anything, I felt like my lifts were improving (I just didn't want to push it too hard). This could have been due to my 2700 calories too but I was running those calories while I was on trt as well. How are my lifts improving if my test is lowering?

- My gym training seems to be alot better in the morning fasted than in the afternoon. In the past, I used to love training in the afternoon due to my beliefs in glycogen storing throughout the day. SS31 may have attributed to why I'm now feeling pumped in the morning (since I always inject in morning fasted) but again I'm running multiple peptide stack so I can't just credit SS31 alone.

- Endurance is a big marker I've definitely noticed. When we rep range our exercises to RPE, we typically say 8-10, 12-15, 6-8 etc right? Well, I've never been able to adhere to that. My declining rep to set to maintain RPE would be say 12, then 10, then 7 for 3 sets with fixed rest period. In these months I've able to consistently maintain a -1 declining rep range.

- Mental focus I would say mostly Selank and Semax is doing the major lifting. But again SS31 has been studied to also improve cognition as well.

It's funny you mention injection lumps because ALL of my nodules formed due to my adverse reaction to Mots-c. All the other injections, even NAD+, was fine. I rotate around the body a fair bit rather than just at abdomen.

I find that the peptide pens are so much better than the insulin syringes in managing injection lumps. Might be just me but I give a soft massage as well at the injection site to help disperse the peptide liquid a bit more rather than in one place.

DSIP is a funny one really. My first night is showing a positive experience with it but who knows maybe it might be bunk. Hopefully my data gathering will further support the reseach.

Yeah that’s fair it can be very hard to attribute what’s doing what when it’s all around mitochondrial function.

Yep, I’ve got a little nodule from mots -c aswell and no issues at all running NAD+ at a high dose with no sides. NAD+ is the only one I know I defitnely notice from day to day. In saying that, I’ve been taking nad+ 50mg an injection compared to the 2mg of mots c.

It looks like the ss31 is doing well, gym endurance is great.

Interesting on the peptide pens. I never had any nodules on them either and my insulin pins are 32g 4mm so you’d think the outcome would
Be the same!

Uninterrupted sleep on night one at just 0.5mg, that's a really promising start. Smart approach not jumping to conclusions yet though, give it a solid week of data before making any calls. Keen to see the Oura trends over the next few nights.

The SS31 discussion with @jenkemj is interesting too. Hard to isolate one peptide from a stack that size but the fact your lifts are holding or improving while your test is lowering on PCT says something is working. Fasted morning training feeling better is an interesting one, could be the mitochondrial support from SS31 kicking in when you're not relying on glycogen.

Interesting that despite the straight sleep, Oura rated rather average. Notice as well that my deep sleep and REM sleep window was super short. Don't ignore how important supplements are to your sleep people!

I like these sleep updates bro! What’s your dose on the mots and nad+?
Thanks brother, these daily sleep data are starting to show trend of what supplements actually work or don't work!

Mots-c has taken a break because of my mast cell reaction. Currently trying to fortify my immune system pumping vitamin C, TA-1 and Quercitin. Will restart Mots-c again in a couple of weeks.

NAD+ was 50mg a weeks but now I'm going to increase to 100mg a week. My target dose at the end is hopefully 300-400mg a week. Gotta find a solution to dilute the peptide ph though because it's currently too acidic even with BAC water trying to bring the solution back to neutral ph.

Yeah that’s fair!
NAD+ was literally getting used to it for me. I had two injections that gave me bad pip to start and then no pain at all for my other 17ish injections, 3ml in prymal’s 500mg vials worked a charm 👌

Absolutely agree! My training log has fallen a bit due to my current work but I'll try pick it back up again!
lets get it back :D

Lev might be on to something with the valerian though, those herbal sedatives can stack into grog if you layer them. Could be worth dropping valerian for 3-4 nights and seeing if REM and deep sleep come back without killing the DSIP benefit. These systematic sleep experiments are gold 💪

Testagen 1mg (New)

Tonight I will increase DSIP to 1mg, and no other supplements to see what the effects are as a stand alone sleep inducer.

Trying out a new peptide today and one that's rather difficult to source. Testagen is a tetrapeptide (KEDG) testicular bioregulator that was originally isolated from testicle tissue extract. It's studied for its ability to promote testosterone biosynthesis by stimulating the Leydig cell activity and improve the testicle cell metabolism. Research is rather limited in Russia though.

Given the nature of its claims and non existing side effects, its seemingly a good addition to my current PCT protocol. I will test and report its findings.

That 1mg DSIP bump improving onset lines up with what everyone's been reporting, 9PM to 2AM straight run is a solid block at that quality. 4:15AM start is savage brother, banking 5 deep before the alarm is a W regardless of the early cut.

Upped the DSIP dose to 1.5mg last night. Onset was really good. However last night was strange as I had multiple wake ups needing to urinate. Looks like having a can of fizzy soda doesn't work for me. Sticking to normal water from now on. Sleep debt is slowly creeping up so going to need to fix that soon.

I've been using SS31 daily for a very long time now and one thing I notice is that no matter how groggy I wake up, around 30min on, I would have full focus and attention to my work. Like as if all my sleep deprivations disappear. Certainly one of the noticeable effects of SS31.

Also finally got the Home Sperm Test kit. Time to find how them boys are doing!

1.5mg DSIP onset tracking well mate, the bump from 1mg is clearly stacking. Fizzy soda before bed is a classic one, carbonation messes with bladder pressure overnight. Flat water from here should clean that up fast.

Not a good sleep. Far too short. Sleep debt is slowly creeping up now because of it. DSIP is still wonderfully influencing the sleep onset but might need to start using GH and melatonin to maintain the sleep. Also a bit difficult considering the 4AM work start.

Will really drive sleep hard tonight.

Adding GH 2IU with 5mg mela to patch maintenance makes sense brother, DSIP is dialled on onset so the gap is just keeping you under once youre down. 4AM start is the structural ceiling though, any protocol fighting for 7-8hrs with a hard 3:30 alarm runs on a deficit. Mel at 5mg is on the higher end, 1-3mg usually sleeps cleaner without the morning grog and stacks well with 2IU GH for slow wave 💪

First confirmed night of exploding head syndrome due to persistent lack of good sleep. Last night had a bit of cocktail of sleep aids around 10PM but couldn't get to sleep until work finish at midnight (sigh, life). Woke up at 2AM hearing a random shuffle in my room and brain became hyper alert with increasing heart rate (see graph). Couldn't get back to bed until 3AM.

What's interesting is after I did fall asleep, my body went into stress overdrive. That doesn't seem to look good.... See the BPM peaks at late 3AM and 4AM corresponding with the cliff dive HRV at the same time.

Tonight, let's dial back all injection compounds and stick to the traditional oral supplements and melatonin. No DSIP or GH.

a lot of sleep aids, have you considered medication?

Ive never heard of testagen, what it is?

How are you finding the SS-31?
Testagen is a tetrapeptide (KEDG) testicular bioregulator that was originally isolated from testicle tissue extract. It's studied for its ability to promote testosterone biosynthesis by stimulating the Leydig cell activity and improve the testicle cell metabolism. This is theorectically an indirect cellular modulation, and not exogenous mimics like HCG/HMG.

Research is rather limited in Russia though.

so far I feel the SS-31 is the one holding me up energy wise whilst I'm experiencing this period of bad sleep. When I do fasted workouts in the morning, I'm not gassed out like I used to. Again even with bad sleep, I was still able to maintain mental clarity doing my desk job.

This short period of bad sleep is a work lifestyle issue and fatigue accumulation. At the start of my log, my sleep was rather decent.

Need to actually adjust my sleep hygiene back first before introducing more compounds. Might just need to tell site guys to fk off for a while 🤣

As per my current sleep trend, stacking more compounds while fatigued is actually doing more harm than good. Body is probably trying to process too much at once.

Sleep is tough during PCT ngl. I threw a lot at it but every now and then I needed help from zolpidem.
How’s your PCT going otherwise ?
Thanks for checking in brother! Good chance to do a full update on PCT!

I've been doing low dosing clomid 6.25mg /nolva 5mg every 2 days for the past week for low signal maintenance. Intending to stop this Sunday altogether. Also been low dosing aromasin every 3 days to lower my e2 as seen from previous bloods. New bloods booked in two weeks to find out where we're at.

Got the new YOSPERM kit recently and was intending to open it tomorrow to test.

Feeling wise, everything has kinda been flat. No libido, starting to make excuses not to go in gym in afternoons, steps not maintained. Calories has also dropped a bit (down to 2400 cals) not by intention but due to work lifestyle restricting my eating window. Sleep of course is just getting worse.

I blame work (which is mostly true right now due to the creeping FY project and performance targets) but I know it's a me thing as well. I don't know how other people managed to cope with PCT but thank goodness I had some peptides to soften the landing abit, particularly with SS31, NAD+, Selank, Semax, KLOW and Testagen.

This Monday is finally RDO and it's a good chance to reflect and plan out how I'm gonna do this properly.

Haha yea, sick and tired of Mots-c not working! TA-1 to desensitise my histamine reaction, Semax to get my shit together throughout the day and reta because of course reta 🤣

Mots-c is gonna have it's own story arc pretty soon. I will win the battle against Mots-c!
Haha me too mate. My impression of mots c is that it helps regulate mitochondrial function so other compounds are more efficient. I havnt read up on it in a while @HarleyGuy has a good write up on it!

Good shit bro I gotta try get my sleep on par with this. I’m jealous haha

I got some slow releasing melatonin hopefully that’ll be a goer 🤞

Is there anything you’d credit more than the other to help you with your sleep?

I chucked my DSIP in the bin the nasal spray I had did absolutely nothing for me

Thanks bro! Hopefully I maintain a good sleeping habit from this point!

One thing I really notice (at least for me anyway) is that if I keep stacking sleep aids one on top another and too quickly, it starts to create an environment where the body starts to stress a lot because it's confused with the drug interactions. This is evident in one of my sleep logs (sleeping log #17) where I stacked everything (GH, DSIP and Melatonin) and literally my bpm the entire night was elevated, as well as my AVERAGE HRV was 25ms.

If there's anything I learned so far, hitting the bed early (9-10PM) is a far superior sleep aid than any medications.

DSIP is a hit or miss for some people. Remember that it's role is to MAYBE modulate your current body's sleep behaviour, thus inducing sleep and promote deep sleep periods. There's very little studies on DSIP really; studies so far have been done on insomnia patients and applied through IV.

Through my current testing of DSIP, I can say that it DOES induce sleep very well in the beginning, BUT my body seems to adapt to it very fast! Now I have to increase DSIP dosage just to gain the effects.

Yeah bang on bro I’ll be in bed by 9 at the latest but always end up waking up way to early and just can’t get back to sleep which sucks.

Sleep Log #19 19/4/26

Last night Sleep protocol:
-Magnesium Glycinate 655mg
-Ashwagandha 300mg
-Glycine 3g
-L-Theanine 400mg
-5HTP 99mg
-DSIP 1.5mg
-GH 2 IU

Sleep was a bit short this time round (work callout). Reintroduced GH and DSIP back after previous night's good rest. Really having trouble holding deep sleep period after 2AM wake up. Maybe it's GH overstimulation? Will drop GH to 1IU tonight to see any difference.

Sleep Score : 7.5 / 10

it could be overstimulation on gh but you're not using high dose, test and see :D

If it’s GH overstimulation you probably say to drop it down but at 2 iu’s you’ll be probably just adapt in a few days. Any hand swelling? Skin flush before you fell asleep?

No hand swelling, no skin flush, but I did notice back in sleep log #17 where I woke up at the same time with highly elevated brain activity and heartrate.

To be fair, you are correct that it's likely an adaptation issue. I've haven't dialled in dosages properly yet (been cycled off for 4 weeks) and it is likely that even 2IU is enough to trigger a response. Possibly due to hypersensitivity. I'll start dialling GH nightly with small titration up to 2IU.

Yeah good call, whatever works at the end of the day!

Might not be relevant but your sleep issues but it could be psychological aswell. Maybe anxiety about work the next day or others stresses or maybe you feel stressed out by your sleep and overcomplicate it in your mind?

Obviously might not be relevant at all, but I felt it was worth mentioning anyway bro just incase you wanted to look into other angles.

Titrating from a low floor after 4 weeks off cycle is the right call mate 💪

Training Log
Full Body Push Afternoon
Motivation: 8/10
Focus: 9/10
Post workout fatigue: exhausted but enough energy to walk back to car

Pre and intra workouts:
- SR9009
- Motsc 0.5mg (Finally back, but....)
- SLU-PP-332 1mg
- L Carnitine 300mg
- Coffee
- no preworkout meals (late lunch)
- Pre Workout
- Maltodextrin
- Electrolytes

First time back doing a full body push. Trying to train around an origin tear is so hard because not only is it structurally weak but now it's prone to failure more than the quads themselves. There's always going to be that "clicking" sensation, especially when I ass to grass squats all the time in the past.

See my MRI diagnosis attached.

KLOW is coming in to manage the repairs but it may take a while longer before making full recovery. Limited to two quad exercises today, paused squats and single leg machine leg press with eccentric tempo (31X1). The pain is definitely flaring from the bottom position at last reps.

Another problem I'm having is that I'm feeling nauseated near the end of the workout. I think wither BP is dropping due to my tempo breathing (remember that I'm doing mostly 31X1) or I'm feeling hypoglycemic.

MOTS-c back at 0.5mg stacked with SLU 1mg pre-WO is the clean energy layer you've been chasing brother 💪

The battle against Mots-c

Despite the huge benefits Mots-c has to my overall mitochondrial adaption stack, Mots-c and my body don't get along. Previously, every shot would result in a histamine reaction that would swell and sometimes create nodules on my abdomen area depending on the injection volume. I've also tried thigh subq injection but still the same issues.

1000038851.webp

The above photo shows the said reaction at 0.25mg Mots-c....

I am one of the few who may have the condition known as Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) where certain compounds may cause inappropriate release of histamine or a systemic allergy response. Some cases of MCAS are rather mild, whereas others can be potentially life threatening anaphylaxis.

See an example video here from Vigorous Steve show casing the impact of Mots-c and how to dose.

Anyway, I'm stubborn. I need Mots-c in the stack as it synergises with SS-31 and NAD+. To tackle this problem, I put Mots-c on hold for two weeks to raise my tolerance threshold. So what I've done for the past two weeks (14 days) is:

-Vitamin C 1.5g a day
-Quercitin 500mg a day
-Glutathione 100mg IM every 2 days (800mg total)
-Ketotifen 1mg nightly
-KPV 0.5mg a day
-TA-1 10mg total (split 4 times in two weeks)

And with that stack, yesterday I proceeded with my first 0.5mg Mots-c in two weeks making sure I had both Claratyne (Loratadine) and Telfast (Fexofenadine).

See some photos below:

1000039786.webp

2hrs after injection
1000039793.webp

6hrs after injection
1000039802.webp

By this time, I was feeling super itchy on the area despite the low visible rash. To try combat this I had:
1000039803.webp

Gotta say this only helps mildly. I still felt the itch and unfortunately throughout the night I god damn had to scratch it (probably why I woke up alot last night). If anyone has something to block the SENSATION of wanting to itch please let me know.

Anyways this morning result:
1000039853.webp

And now...
1000039866.webp

SO. What this means is that what I have been doing the past two weeks is definitely working. The hive appearance of the rash isn't even there, and this was DOUBLE the injection volume (0.5mg) of the previous two weeks ago photo (0.25mg).

If I can stop being silly and scratch the shit out of it, I dare say it wouldn't even be this red.

I'm going to try Mots-c again this Thursday at 1mg subq and see what happens. In the meantime, I'll keep stacking the defence/inflammation medication to prepare for it.

Thanks for tuning in! Hopefully I can get over my Mots-c weakness soon!

Previously, every shot would result in a histamine reaction that would swell and sometimes create nodules on my abdomen area depending on the injection volume. I've also tried thigh subq injection but still the same issues.

By this time, I was feeling super itchy on the area despite the low visible rash. To try combat this I had:

Gotta say this only helps mildly. I still felt the itch and unfortunately throughout the night I god damn had to scratch it (probably why I woke up alot last night). If anyone has something to block the SENSATION of wanting to itch please let me know.

Anyways this morning result:

I've been doing subq the whole time but actually if the whole process fails this time round, I want to try IM next to see if it may make a difference (since it should be deep enough hopefully....)
