The battle against Mots-c
Despite the huge benefits Mots-c has to my overall mitochondrial adaption stack, Mots-c and my body don't get along. Previously, every shot would result in a histamine reaction that would swell and sometimes create nodules on my abdomen area depending on the injection volume. I've also tried thigh subq injection but still the same issues.

The above photo shows the said reaction at 0.25mg Mots-c....
I am one of the few who may have the condition known as Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) where certain compounds may cause inappropriate release of histamine or a systemic allergy response. Some cases of MCAS are rather mild, whereas others can be potentially life threatening anaphylaxis.

Anyway, I'm stubborn. I need Mots-c in the stack as it synergises with SS-31 and NAD+. To tackle this problem, I put Mots-c on hold for two weeks to raise my tolerance threshold. So what I've done for the past two weeks (14 days) is:
-Vitamin C 1.5g a day
-Quercitin 500mg a day
-Glutathione 100mg IM every 2 days (800mg total)
-Ketotifen 1mg nightly
-KPV 0.5mg a day
-TA-1 10mg total (split 4 times in two weeks)
And with that stack, yesterday I proceeded with my first 0.5mg Mots-c in two weeks making sure I had both Claratyne (Loratadine) and Telfast (Fexofenadine).

By this time, I was feeling super itchy on the area despite the low visible rash. To try combat this I had:

Gotta say this only helps mildly. I still felt the itch and unfortunately throughout the night I god damn had to scratch it (probably why I woke up alot last night). If anyone has something to block the SENSATION of wanting to itch please let me know.
Anyways this morning result:

SO. What this means is that what I have been doing the past two weeks is definitely working. The hive appearance of the rash isn't even there, and this was DOUBLE the injection volume (0.5mg) of the previous two weeks ago photo (0.25mg).
If I can stop being silly and scratch the shit out of it, I dare say it wouldn't even be this red.
I'm going to try Mots-c again this Thursday at 1mg subq and see what happens. In the meantime, I'll keep stacking the defence/inflammation medication to prepare for it.
Thanks for tuning in! Hopefully I can get over my Mots-c weakness soon!
