That is a sweet bike brother...and that 117 pulls good I know that. I ride a Harley FXDLI with a few goodies on it. I have been planning to build the motor over the winter but never got too it. I will either build a 107 or a 117. I am currently working in putting hard bags on it from a road king police bike. Being a dyna it has the exposed rear shocks so I am cutting and molding the bags back together so they will cover the shock and sit tight to the bike. Places sell these kits already done up but they sit too far away from the bike and I don't like the way that looks. I will get some pictures up when I get home.

I'm a social worker. I work in a child psychiatry unit in a hospital and work with the 12-18 yr old admissions. We get all the suicide attempts and usually kids presenting as psychotic etc. I work mainly with the families and outside agencies.
God Bless you..........I was a Medevac in Vietnam, and I seen death and pain, that broke my heart... We need more people like you girl in our world.. I do seminars for diabetic Type I-II, 8-90 years old.. I do seminars for Arthritis Foundation.. I'm in charge of 7 local YMCA's fitness counseling and I love people.. And Girl you love people too.. It takes a special person to care for others.. You know exactly what I mean. You just got to have it in you... I don't no your age or if you ever heard, I had a friends wife did the same job as you, and she went to a home in Columbus Ohio to check on a kid, his father open the door and blew her head off with a 9mm....Thank You Again from the bottom of my heart......AnalogMan
Thank you so much for your kind words and yes, I do know what you mean.I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's wife. I used to do that type of work and after several years and a few close encounters like that, decided to make a change. I can't imagine what you must have seen in Vietnam. And it's so great you are involved in helping people now. It's so rewarding. I would like to do more in the fitness community to help others. Not so much with competitors but more so with the average, everyday person who wants to improve their health and well being. I've just started thinking about how I could do that.
Thanks AnalogMan! Made my day to read this.![]()
Currently finishing my clinical rotations for cardiopulmonary therapy. Love working in the NICU but Adult ICU is where I will b fort he time being. Basically I'm the guy when u code (heart stops) that's intubating (putting a tube down your trach) and hooking you to a machine to breath for you...then try and get you off that machine ASAP. Hoping to hit PA school is 2-3yrs, for neonatal work....I just love taking that 400 gram premature baby and keeping him/her alive for 3-6months...literally watching them grow...then watching mom and dad take him/her home for the first time...truly the most rewarding feeling I've ever had, with the exception of being a father.
Own a Modular furniture installation company. Basically install those cubicles that feel like a jail cell and everyone hates. But it has to be done.

wow most everyone in this thread is in a union doing a blue collar job. I feel like I made a mistake getting into a white collar field after reading this thread. the stress isn't worth it.
some of you mentioned stereotypes earlier in this thread, well this thread proves stereotypes have merits. when you think of juiceheads you don't think of IT guys or guys like me in white collar jobs.. you think of tough, union, labor types.
I went to college, was on grad school when I realized.....I'm a physical guy, I like moving, like being active, it just makes me happier than sitting in a chair.
