That is a sweet bike brother...and that 117 pulls good I know that. I ride a Harley FXDLI with a few goodies on it. I have been planning to build the motor over the winter but never got too it. I will either build a 107 or a 117. I am currently working in putting hard bags on it from a road king police bike. Being a dyna it has the exposed rear shocks so I am cutting and molding the bags back together so they will cover the shock and sit tight to the bike. Places sell these kits already done up but they sit too far away from the bike and I don't like the way that looks. I will get some pictures up when I get home.

Thank you bro! Yea boy that 117 pulls lol it has that S&S evolution motor, crazy torque! The FXDLI that's the low rider right? Pretty bike, a 117 on that bike will make it a rocket ship bro lol. Hope you hard bag project works out bro, I almost bought a road king police bike recently (Guy wanted too much and wouldn't budge), I want to pick up a Street Glide as a bagger project and long haul bike. The Mastiff is a softail but def not meant for out of state hauls lol. Ride safe bro... Rubber down.

Yes it is the low rider...I like it because it is so versatile. I can whip around in town or go out for the long haul with the bike bikes. Actually that is why the bags are going on it so I can pack some stuff along when I go on those long rides. Yes the 117 on that light bike will scream, it's already fast with just cams, intake, and exhaust....but I am never satisfied lol. Street glides are sweet bikes, we built one with a screaming eagle 120r and it is one hell of a bike. Ride safe too my brother, keep them road gremlins away from that big dog.

Damn dude! Beautiful bike brother.. Is that the Sledd? You have some serious bikes my man, Jesus I'm jealous. I love the Bull Dog, it's a shame just as the developed that bike and made it bad ass they went under. And a Paul Yaffe too?!? You are a man of impeccable taste my friend lol. Yea brother these big S&S's are beasts , and they left lots of power on the table to boot, I've heard really good things about those X-wedges. Yea I have the spike too, but you have the sharp one mine is rounded.. I've been thinking of changing it out for the S&S dual
Runner and getting the twin sharp spike kit for it. And you're right brother, they are Vance and Hines Ground pounders. Thanks for posting up the pics, I've seen that Big Bear hat you use all the time and I've been wondering lol. So all those high level bikes and street rods as well, you are my hero lol.. Ride safe brother

Thank you so much for your kind words and yes, I do know what you mean. :) I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's wife. I used to do that type of work and after several years and a few close encounters like that, decided to make a change. I can't imagine what you must have seen in Vietnam. And it's so great you are involved in helping people now. It's so rewarding. I would like to do more in the fitness community to help others. Not so much with competitors but more so with the average, everyday person who wants to improve their health and well being. I've just started thinking about how I could do that.

Thanks AnalogMan! Made my day to read this. :)

outside sales - my territory is San Francisco, incredible opportunity but the traffic is slowly driving me insane.

Your so very welcome.. My pleasure.. You will go on and be so many peoples shinny light. My family has been in the health care field for ever, my sister has work the ER over 20 years. Don't ask me why, but you couldn't drag her out.. When you love the human race, it's just in your gut....God bless and be safe..........AnalogMan

I'm currently a student. Hoping to get into Medical School in 2 years. Then become an ER doc or a family doc.

Wish me luck guys!

Currently finishing my clinical rotations for cardiopulmonary therapy. Love working in the NICU but Adult ICU is where I will b fort he time being. Basically I'm the guy when u code (heart stops) that's intubating (putting a tube down your trach) and hooking you to a machine to breath for you...then try and get you off that machine ASAP. Hoping to hit PA school is 2-3yrs, for neonatal work....I just love taking that 400 gram premature baby and keeping him/her alive for 3-6months...literally watching them grow...then watching mom and dad take him/her home for the first time...truly the most rewarding feeling I've ever had, with the exception of being a father.

Own a Modular furniture installation company. Basically install those cubicles that feel like a jail cell and everyone hates. But it has to be done.

Thank you brother, it can be a very rewarding job. I use to work in the environmental industry (consulting for wetland mitigation, waste water disposal and groundwater contamination cleanup). It was great for awhile, but took a toll on me physically.

wow most everyone in this thread is in a union doing a blue collar job. I feel like I made a mistake getting into a white collar field after reading this thread. the stress isn't worth it.

some of you mentioned stereotypes earlier in this thread, well this thread proves stereotypes have merits. when you think of juiceheads you don't think of IT guys or guys like me in white collar jobs.. you think of tough, union, labor types.

plus you burn calories and its more natural to do that ..

when I had a physical job it was easy to stay lean, now sitting on my ass all day I just don't burn any calories plus metabolism is slowing down

computers, tv, and internet have changed our careers.. I hope younger guys reading this consider what others have said.. the union dudes on here seem to be happy with their jobs ..

Yea during Hurricane Sandy

It's what happens when you don't prepare them for a storm properly! Wasn't it concrete guys? I know a few 40 guys helped take it down

Non union is really concerning. I don't see me retiring but I know 14 & 40 will be the last to go down fighting!
