Hello, folks! I have a quick question. My wife is 47 NAND menopausal going g through HRT to get her hormones balanced out. She has been lifting g with me for the last 3 years and made amazing g progress. She has even natty the whole time but we are wondering what the safest ways are to enhance her workouts and with which compounds. We bit know it’s a delicate balance with the women so I have seen that a lot of women will use Var or Primo. What would be the best way to start on a beginner cycle for her to help her with muscle gain without high risk for negative symptoms? I know there is a lot of great knowledge her and always love everyone’s willingness to help. Looking forward to any input.

You are correct @BigD9795. It's a delicate balance with females and AAS. IMO if she is menopausal I would get with a good Dr and review bloods to see where she is at and what they recommend. Once you've done that you have info you can use to guide her on a couple different paths depending on her goals.
@RoidRageWife may have some insight here.
 
No. She has no plans to compete. She has seen my gains on cycle and was just wanting to explore ways to enhance her growth. I feel it should be low and slow since she has never ran a cycle before. Test the waters and see how she responds. Then get labs and get a true picture of how her body is handling it then make adjustments if/as necessary. Neither of us wants her to have any/many virtualization side effects.

Very low dose Var is gonna be a good jumping off point. 2.5mg/day to start. Pharmaquo has a low dose product so you don't have to mess around breaking/cutting pills.

I started with the low dose test after menopause it helped energy sleep clarity strength libido. I did not have pre testosterone levels checked I just jumped right in. But for no side effects, I’d Stick with Var try HGH if you can too. Helps with recovery no worries with androgens. 💪🌸

Thank you for the feedback. My wife has been on HRT. She responds to test Cyp like crazy. Her test levels were very low. They out her in 25mg per week I think. Her levels came back like around 260. She had no side effects whatsoever. Felt good. They have lowered it a bit and haven’t had labs again yet. She still doing pretty well. But I think low dose var might help her a lot. I’m just not sure what dose we should start with. Like maybe 5mg???

Best way to start is get her on low dose testosterone and estrogen cream like he's doing but has to be VERY low dose and is it possible to have her log here?

Thanks @RoidRageWife I think we need a lot more female presence here like yours especially for menopausal women who are more than welcome on here. HarleyGirl (that's what I call my girl on here LOL) is menopausal right now and @BigD9795 I've been discussing this same exact thing in my log in a more symptom alleviation related discussion with @LevButlerov

HarleyGirl had tested a little bit low but was complaining moreso of the menopausal symptoms. She doesn't train but wanted to feel better and more energetic. Her lower parts are still working like a garden hose but it was moreso the hot flashes, fatigue, fog brain and insomnia driving her insane. Her doc simply wanted to prescribe her progesterone but I insisted on a full blood panel which she eventually gave in when I spewed some EVO knowledge at her LOL. Ultimately (long story short) she was prescribed a clear slippery androgel (test), an estrogen pump, and progesterone. She hated the feeling of the androgel so I ordered her test cream (a thicker cream) but it was too strong to dose properly 25mg/g with a gram being a 'dime size' so half a dime size twice or three times a week became a huge annoyance.

Bottom line for HarleyGirl: We're moving to 15mg TestE pinned IM twice a week for accuracy of dosing and a stable level of T throughout the week with no dips. This is strictly for TRT for menopause

For you: I think there's 2 routes...

  1. You get her bloods done and see where her testosterone is at and give her the smallest dose of androgel to start to get it just above the 'normal' range so it's considered 'high' but just above the 'high' range. You can find the cream online. You can also easily get estrogen prescribed at her age (and she likely needs a bit) and you can start with 1-2 pumps of the estrogen gel ED and see how she feels with that
  2. If you don't want to bother getting her bloods done and strictly from a performance standpoint with menopause inhibiting her training you can try 2.5mg anavar ED (for a weekly total of 17.5mg) and max out at this dose for her for a long while to see how she feels.

Might sound silly but you can start a log for her too. I asked HarleyGirl and got the eye roll despite how supportive she is of me on here so she's a no go but maybe yours is open to it?

Start with 2.5 u can always go up better to be cautious.

Couldn't agree with this more. I had my own mother running 2.5mg and it was too much had to go to 1.25mg. She's 74 yrs old and feels like a champ now LOL @BigD9795

I think Anavar would make the most sense for her. Let her start at 5 mg a day only.

If I were you I would try 2.5 mg anavar a day. That is a great option. You won't go wrong.

Agreed. My option # 2 above seems to be what they'd be using PEDs vs Menopausal HRT for and 2.5mg is a better start for simply training results while monitoring sides. Maybe 5mg once the 2.5mg has proven tolerable.

We are going to talk to her coach and see if he thinks she is ready for that. I suspect he may want to have her do a cut and get leaner before she goes on any kind of cycle. As you know, going on cycle when you have some weight to lose, can be counterproductive. So I just want to make sure she is ready for it and that she is primed to get maximum ROI from it when she does.

I’ve been looking into it myself.

I’m really worried about virilization, as I want to stay as feminine as possible.

HGH seems to be very safe, and I’ve been toying with the idea of keeping Anavar as a preworkout boost at 2.5mg only on training days.
 
2.5mg var is a good start. She's already on HRT and taking test so that will compliment it well and its a low dose where she can assess if she wants to move to 5mg
