How long before assuming you've been scammed?

I recently made contact with a source from the forums and spoke with him through various emails and then eventually made a purchase. He was very quick to respond to all of my concerns prior to the purchase, but once I made the payment, he has stopped responding to my emails. How long should I wait before I can assume that my money is lost and I've been scammed?

Bro read review section and post up......It sounds bad.....If he not responding that just weird unless you are one of those neurotic types that wants to hold hands until your stuff arrives.......
 
I don't wanna just jump the gun. I'll say this for now. It is a well reviewed source on the forum. I made payment a couple days ago and since them have sent him a couple emails asking to let me know if he has received the payment and when he anticipates shipping it. It is a domestic source (I think). I'll give him a couple more days before giving him a full on "call out".. But I'm new to this so I was just curious about it. He was extremely fast to respond to all emails prior to payment. Made payment, and now.. crickets..

Are you talking about Striated Labs? He stopped responding to me after I made payment as well, and it's almost been two weeks. I just feel like domestic orders should take less than that to arrive. I won't make any assumptions until I know for sure though.
 
everyone is already aware, or should be anyway, of his t/a times. i've had several people PM me asking about the same thing you are. did he respond when picked up money ... NOPE. did he send anything when shipped...NOPE. then it showed up at my door. i do know he is working on things to speed up the t/a. should he be responding to your emails -- yes, of course. but i just got 100mls of sust last week. i read somewhere that he had 19 orders going out early this week. somebody else stated something about paid friday received moonday....go easy before you start hollering "scammed" and "calling people out" ....
 
I agree on waiting before calling anyone out, but two weeks is extremely slow for a domestic. Anabolshop is international and shipped their product to me in 12 days. And yes, customers should be getting responses to emails.

true ... that has been a common complaint about SL for awhile. but then again ... there is some give and take. if you want it faster - go somewhere else and pay more. if you can afford the wait and wanna pay less - there ya go. i ve got my next two cycles already planned and stocked, ahead of time. thus could afford the wait. no biggie. that said -- i don know he said he is working on speeding up the t/a time.

I won't need my order for another month or so... His extremely low prices is what got me to order from him in the first place. With those prices, I don't mind the wait, as long as he comes through and the product is properly dosed.

How would you know if the product is NOT properly dosed?
 
I would like to know the same thing?...Evidently blood test is the best way...and some people use that Lab Max Kit...I am not knowledgeable enough to speak on any of this...so Im out
 
Not uncommon for a source to simply send out the product after receipt of payment, which is what Robo does. Although it is understood if someone emails for tracking number it will be given out. Gotta understand how many emails sources gotta deal with so sometimes dont expect updates after you pay *unless* you email specifically asking.
 
@SD...This is my first try...and I really am valuing EVOorgs Top Dawg Opinions...my question is ...do you guys recommend asking for a tracking number?
 
Yeah i didnt bother asking for one even when i saw somewhere you could get one, i didnt expect to get a email saying thanks recieved your payment will be sending out soon but ive been doing this along time, so nowa days when a source does respond i get a shock.

Been waiting 18 days and counting on SL. He said it would be shipped this week, then said check back Monday because he's going to be on vacation until then.
 
Most every source Ive ever used slows down contact after the transaction of loot. Not they have a job to do. Some dont like holding hands much. I just send the money and wait. I dont think I ever emailed after I sent it unless asked. I watched the process thru a friend before and he said every e mail he has to answer is another pack not packed or sent. He only had a few hours/night to do this work so He got frustrated when people e mailed him status questions and sometimes wouldnt answer back.... Most these dudes send 50 to 100 packs a week, answer 1000 emails a week, and work a 40hr day job...I get it though, Its your loot and you want to know where it is.
 
T/a and communication isn't everything but it is something and holds different weight with different users. Know the reviews.

That's one of the reasons I avoid many busy labs, they get behind. I always find myself sticking with the quiet guy that nobody talks about because he has the stuff at my door in 48 hrs. But that's what is important to me.

these are the sticky grey areas that make legit forums like EVO and you experienced guys important to us new guys...dylans vid tutorials gave me the feeling of EVOS legitamacy...Ive been following advice and doing as much homework possible.

Funny you say that...go back and do some research on old threads-where he did come back and try to clean things up-and certain people still kept kicking his balls in. So...what's the point.finally he just disclosed the t/a time upfront, if you didnt like it-dont buy from him-and then just quieted down. He said he was working on things to speed up the that delivery time. I understand all sides..payrion made excellent points from sources angle.but ultimately its our money.so...do you research and reviews and decide what fits your needs. Assuming the gear is equal-figure out what style fits you.and don't bitch...lol. new guys get excited and antsy and impatient-and make waves.those of us that been doing it awhile only make waves when they get fucked
 
I can guarantee you will get your gear. You don't need to ask for a tracking number. Ask him to let you know when it was shipped. SL is a good bro, he's just busy.
 
I used sl b coz of his prices and i thought being domestic that ta would b about a week to a week and a half. It ended up being closer to 3 weeks. However he responded to all pms and emails. Sometimes the next day but always responded. Currently 1 week in so so will update in a few weeks but came in 100 ml vials securely bubble wrapped and packaged well.
 
I enjoyed reading this and realizing im not the only one with the same concerns. I ordered coming up on 2 weeks ago, initial response time and customer service was great. I havent heard back in a couple days now after asking on the status of my order and if it had been shipped yet since he originally told me it would be heading out this week. really hoping it comes through, excited to try the gear and hope the wait isn't ,much longer. Just hoping I actually see my products and didn't get scammed like I have in the past. Im staying positive however, lots of great reviews on the gear and customer service here on SL besides the complaint of wait time but guess thats expected with a huge sale like this. Guess I just gotta sit here and wait my turn. hopefully a response or my prodcuts turn up soon. Would be hard to think SL would scam with how many people have backed him and how much business he does on this forum. He is a good guy, and gives great service and products just needs faster delivery and itd be almost to great of a source. :) just hang tight. im right there with ya bro
 
Gotta be patient with a source, but a source should get back to the customer via email in a reasonable time. I have communicated with several well-established and respected sources here that have a high customer base, and they always respond. Best way to keep your name clean and reputable. At the end of the day, though, as long as you get your stuff, that's all that matters :)

1. Bad or no communication
2. Great communication when receiving ur hard earned money
3. No delivery of product after 30 days.

How many more clues do u need?

He sucked u all in with a fantastical number of 5000 prop and u all got blinded and walked right into the slaughter.
 
Hate to say it but I saw this coming from a mile away lol.
He sold what he had, built a little rep, convinced a couple of regulars he was the real deal..
Got a great number of customers, took a good amount of money and now he's gone.
Striated was allowed in too quickly and people were swayed way too easily by him.
For everyone's sake I really hope he comes through.
Sucks to see honest guy's getting scammed out of cash they work hard for.

I am still hopeful but after 72 hours I think it might be gone.....Kind of like a kidnapping.....72 hours and then the chances are slim to none.....

Did you make friends with vets ?????and or read review section ???????Review section with reviews over a 6 to 12 month time??? people who have been around for more then a month?????

Anyone can get scammed at anytime bro.....But there are good people here..
 
This guy is a pos, I'm a college student and funds are limited. Went out on a limb after seeing a few good reviews and his excellent response time. Chalking this one off as a loss. At least I still have his western union info if that can help prevent him from scamming more people as a new lab...
 
I am still hoping he comes through, this was the only concern I had ordering from someone new after years and it is not sounding too good.
 
Listen guys, this is common.

Scamming people is easy if you think about it.

I could whip up some super strong test prop. Call it prop 200. Market it to a few guys. They say oh shit this stuff is fire. Well of course it is. Lol its over dosed. IDC what anyone says u don't get a 5000 test number on 3-500mg of prop a week u just don't.

Then, u make silly stupid crazy prices. Guys get the stars in their eyes and forget to be skeptical of what's in front of them

In this biz u have to see these things coming. I sure did. No one wanted to listen.
 
Ill give u an example.

I'm looking for a car for my daughter. She is 13 but I have some money now so I figure I'll buy it now and store it.

So I'm looking around. I see this 2006 Honda accord. Super nice leather sunroof the whole deal price is 1900. On like fuck man that's a stupid deal.

So I email the lady. Ask some questions like why selling it so cheap

I get this email about oh my husband just died and blah blah blah

So I say ok I'm interested. Car is in Washington. She forwards this email from supposedly eBay motors. Saying u send the money mg and then they ship the car to you and all this official sounding shit

But in my mind I'm going man this seems to good. So I call eBay customer service. To verify if this is legit. Come to find out this thing is red flagged as a scam and they already sucked in ten people. Now see I could have easily said fuck ya great deal. Sent the money and been fucked. It can happen to ANYONE. U just have to see the underlying info. Not the glitz and glamour
 
Well I got taken for $200. Lesson learned I guess. For what it's worth, I read the reviews and none of them said anything bad.
 
It really sucks to be scammed. But even more so because this is my first time doing this an now I'm completely reluctant to trust anyone. Even someone with good reviews. Anyhow, if anyone could PM me with some valuable advice on where to turn to next, that would be excellent. Much appreciated.

Not to say it's a good thing this happened, but in the future now you will definitely be more aware and ask all the right questions before placing an order. Everything seemed good with this dude, but like everyone else was saying, too good to be true. He offered me 100ml of Var for 100 bucks lol.

That's normal. I wouldn't worry. Give it a few days. Also not a good idea to put that out in the open bro. Be more secure.
 
Well I'm new to this, and I cannot send PMs yet. So where can I get some Arimidex? Or something similar. I'm out 50ml EQ300, 50ml clomid and 50ml arimidex. I need the arimidex now, but the other stuff can wait.

damn, that really sucks about striated! I ordered some gear from him about a month ago and it came through fine. Switched over from another lab to his test-cyp about 3 weeks ago and my free test levels are at 2178. His Aromasin was g2g also. Estradiol levels are at 21. Hopefully he shows back up. Honestly, the ordering process took him quite a bit so he may just be lagging or something. Hopefully your stuff comes through!
 
Was considering ordering from him at first, but saw the lack of communication and just plain arrogance when Confronted about it. Its a frustrating and scary thing to give ur hard earned money to someone behind a keyboard and not face to face. Sure as hell makes me nervous. Anyway, i just feel terrible for u guys who lost ur $...
 
totally dependent on the source. but if you haven't heard anything after a couple of weeks, something is not right

I tested his gear too and it was legit but no one should be ordering his stuff now and unfortunately if you haven't gotten your gear already, you're probably not getting it.

There's a tread that some of the great vendors here are trying to make things right. They're looking for some items to make your claim legit. If you have it, these fellas I think will make it right.

I would in the future only use these vendors since they're legit and they care for everyone on this board, even if the mess wasn't on them.

I will time to time test other people's gear and I know the risk and I can afford to lose the gear if it doesn't come in. Don't do what I do. Use the main sources and you'll always be fine.
