Fellows , can you explain the dreaded back pumps that can come along with Var ? Is it when your last are pumped or lower back pain . I got my taurine but just curious .

I got bad back pumps with Dbol, and Superdrol. Lower back, right above your ass. The muscle on each side of your spine feels like it's squeezed in a pair of vise grips. 5 grams usually fixes me up.
 
I take like 3-5 grams taurine on all orals, helps with the pumps.

Just like this.

I think imo it's because it's a well used muscle for foundation stabilization during everything. Much like the core, But doesnt get worked as much, so the pumps come easy to it. Just my feelings on it
 
I only took Taurine when I needed it. It occurred mostly for me at the gym. Few times working around the house. In the 5 weeks of Dbol, I only used it 7-8 times.

I also avoided deads, and all lower back exercises until I was done with my oral.
 
Last dbol cycle for me i got crippling back pumps. I mean i couldnt squat or deadlift not even a rep. It was horrible. This time im drinkin more water and doing 20g taurine per day in 5g increments no backpumps whatsoever. So taurine worked miracle for me. And im using 10mg moredbol with this one
 
It's only been a few days but last night I had some lower back pain and core pain after a mean fucking night of work , this evening the same thing , is this the back pumps ? Or is my lower back just sore ? Never had it before the var .

on var now...lower back pump is a killer...taking taurine though to help b/c it helps calm the nervous system.

For me it's pretty localized right at the waist line. Feels like the painful pumps you sometimes get at the gym in your bi's or shoulders, only in your lower back.

I have never had lower back pumps with VAR I am currently running 80mg per day I get upper back pumps and shoulder pumps that are painful. My roommate on the other hand gets bad lower back pumps and hes also on 80mg per day.

What u feel is how dbol is for me
 
I never realized what back pumps were until dbol. It feels like an extreme tightness in your lower back. Like the amount of blood is completely filling up all available space in your muscles. Weird.

I remember I was walking to restaurant, calf pumps had me barely crawling...
 
if you have real quality anavar, your going to get horrible pumps the entire cycle... generally, most methylated orals cause this but anavar seems to cause it worse than many others... taurine, a lot of water, plenty of rest etc are about the only things you can really do... some people just get them a lot worse than others... make sure your taking n2guard with it as well as anavar is a lot more toxic than people think...
 
Man Dylan at 40mg a day and 3days in I can feel how toxic it is , but it also added a fullness feel to my muscles . My forearms and calves feel like 2x4 :) but these core pumps feel like I've gotten punched all over the core front and back ! Wtf

LMAO!!!!! the first time I ran an oral only cycle, I ran 6 weeks of DBol @ 50mg/day, followed immediately with 6 weeks of Winny @ 40mg/day and that followed immediately by 6 weeks on Var @ 50mg/day. At that time I was still an active Kickboxer. I think that those 18 weeks were probably the worst ever! At least I used Milk thistle the whole 18 weeks and drank slightly more than a gallon of water a day.

Mild - Slightly aggravated pumps on the DBol (Manageable ... and easily so too)
Horrible joint aches on Winny
Unreal pumps on Var ... close to not even being able to sit up straight from lying on my back in bed.

LOL!!!! Was a good time, though, nonetheless. Looked decent and reasonably solid after that cycle. Only wish I knew about PCT back then.

To any new guys reading this, do not take orals for 18 weeks. Ridiculous
 
taurine is def helping I opened the capsules and added them to my BCAAS pre and intra workout...good stuff
 
The 1st time I ever did Var, I wasn't doing any Taurine.
I was doing Forearms, and I got such a Cramp, that I dropped the Weight and Started to Massage my Forearm and Bicep.
Because the Longer the Cramp continued, I started to get Sympathetic Pain in all the Surrounding Muscles...............................JP
P.S.
I don't ever get the Back Pumps, I get all the Smaller Muscle Pumps, (Calf, Bicep, forearm), there Vicious.
I always take Taurine now, even on other Orals.
 
I get the calf pumps in addition to back pumps. I started with vermodje dbol for 4 weeks switched to march blue hearts dbol , have to say the hearts are better. I usually run 40-60mg/day.most the time 40mg does the trick..
 
Guys , I'm having a rough time with this var , I think . Ever since I started the var , I also started a liver support and taurine .

The problem is that I am getting core pain . The pain is in my abs and lower back area , almost like a ab workout pain or cramps and side cramps . It's defiantly not stomach upset . But it can be nauseating . I took 20mg this morning and seem fine , I haven took the taurine yet . Trying to weed things out to see what's causing the discomfort !

I guess I'm trying to figure if this is the var and core pumps/cramps that is causing it , or the taurine , or the liver support and NAC . Has anyone felt this before while using Anavar ?

It could be just your body adjusting to it. The pain/pump I get is in the lower back area where the kidneys are. I read that taurine helps calm the nervous system and helps the kidneys with blood flow so that's why it helps with the pump. Just stay at a lower dose until it subsides.

You drinking like gallons of water everyday? I've never had any sides from taurine, nac, or liver support. When I took sns methyldrol(superdrol) the back pumps were horrible. I went from 1 gal of water a day to 2 gals and that helped a lot. If I had used taurine too I would have probly liked SD. Taurine and high water intake made epistane a breeze.
 
I went with no taurine today and the crampy pain in the abs and kidney area is there so it not the taurine . I going to do like said and drink more water and keep taking the taurine and maybe stay at lower dose . Thx bros :)

So you dosed it at 20 today?

4-6k Tuarine ED
500mg potassium ED
400mg magnesium ED
BCAAs with Amino Acids peri workout
(this will keep pumps bearable)

High quality fish/krill oil (this is to combat Var's potentially negative effect on HDL and Cholesterol.
 
Thx Ms Val , I want to make sure it's pumps , I'm in serious discomfort right now ! From the bottom of my chest to my waistline , front , sides , and back side . Feels tight , not in my chest but the stomach area all around !

I will try what you suggest , thx

I haven't had a chance to get to the store yet ,. I took only 20mg today and still had core cramps . I think I'm just not going to take the var tomorrow , and see what happens .

This doesnt sound like pump to me. Pump is the unmistakable feeling of a muscle too full of blood to function. Last time I skipped my supps The pump turned into leg cramps so bad I was literally crawling around my house because I could not stand up. UBER GLAMOROUS. Some var can cause stomach upset I have not personally heard of the exact symptoms you are describing... and I thought I'd heard it all by now. Are you taking on an empty stomach or with food? IT could also be a reaction to the filler that is used - whatever that may be.
 
Thank you again Ms Val , I know all about those leg cramps , they usually hit me about 2hrs after a long bike ride . The other night I steped out the van and my hammy cramped so bad I was almost in tears . Worst thing is I had to pee so bad it was going to get messy ! Finally it subsided and I was able to limp into my yard to go . I thought I drank enough water , took my endurolites , idk , you think if I take strait Mag and potassium before a ride , or after , it might help ?

As for the Var , I skipped a day and the gut pain went away , so what I determined is I had to stop using it , unfortunately , others did not have the same experience with this brand , it must be just me . So what's a man to do ? Switch to Winny 😏 same brand , so far no pain , but I need to up my fish oils .

Your advice is always welcome Ms val 😀
