Update:
I was hoping my discs would be better in time to walk tonight by being on my heating pad all day, but it seems to be getting a bit worse. I definitely pushed myself too hard last night. Hoping itll be better by tomorrow i guess.

On a side note, i got my post seizure junk food i usually order and the leg day pulled me out of the rut quick.

How much food are you eating damn!
I had a seizure sat. I usually either dont eat for a few days or eat junk the next few days after with the post seiz depression i get. You can actually see several spots on my weight graph back in december where i had quick weight drop offs after each one. Sometimes i get junk food though. I had around a kg of mozzarella sticks today and choco milk. Not good i know but its better than dropping off the map.

Ill be eating better tomorrow. Although i hurt myself, those PR's really helped pulled me out quick. Last time i was depressed for a few weeks.

Yea bro im epileptic. Been having seizures for 24 years. Shes life long. I still have em one ever while even on meds.

Thanks bro. Although they are both herniated so without surgery there aint no healing. Lol. It been a little sketchy since i went a few months without working my lower back out since the lat tear. Itll get tolerable with consistent lower back work again.

Ah ya both being herniated is no Bueno for sure. I can’t even imagine what the rehab for that will look like.

Are the healing peptides helping? I have no experience with them but am always curious

Actually the surgery is minimally invasive now, not like it used to be with open back surgery. Thing is i dont qualify because it got too managablr at the gym otherwise i was a candidate.

Theres nothing to heal really. BPC will handle some inflammation but a herniated disc requires the herniation be cut off and disc cauterized. Other than that i need frequent back exercise or it gets bad.

Seems like a shame for a guy that puts in the effort to improve for them to say he “doesn’t qualify” You would think the medical system would support people who take initiative into their own health

Ill just have to wait til the day i stop working out for it to degenerate enough i can function again.
 
We need a library for all the badges I think, with a small description of how to get em.
Good point. Let me have a meeting with @LevButlerov on this although I know it's in discussion already. I can make a Megathread for it to point members to for their perusal and interest.

Update:
Well im not sure whether to call tonight a success or not. Walking to the gym was 100% a mistake. I was walking slow because i was already hurtin a bit and ended up tripping on the sidewalk twuce on the way. Threw my back out for sure and basically waddled the other half the way to the gym.

Heres the good part, figured i probably wont be moving much tomorrow so lets make it a good lift. 3 more PR's.

Flat bench 175 x 3. Couldve done more reps or higher weight but lets not push it.
Incline bench 135 x 6
Upright rows 135 x 5

I even got lucky and my mom surprised me and was waiting in the parking lot to drive me home cause i told her i was still going to the gym after putting my back out on the way. Lol

Btw just macro totals today. Was about 5.5lbs of food or so. Lol. May give myself a single blast of reta to half ass reset me.

Update:
Well backs still out to lunch. I can only do so much before im back to the heating pad so i decided to be a man and work my back out. Lol

Only did a simple lift like yesterday and ill do arms tomorrow i think. Ill probably need to take it a tad easy for a few lifts. Only 23 more night lifts to go.

Ill be cutting carbs down tomorrow like i was supposed to on the weekend. Acquired some muffin toppage from the dirty bulk. I may do cardio walks on my rest days to get my knees back in shape as well.

On a side note are those fucking back abs i see? Cant wait to shred after the cycle.

Update:
Well brothers, i am deeply saddened i did not get my damn skor donuts. Out of pure post seizure depressive wrath, i broke 4 PR's this leg day. None of the lifts were 1RM's either. Lol

I will still get my donuts but the lift deffinitely helped combat depression a bit. More so because the PR's i think.

Ive ran out of creatine and i prob wont buy a tub for a bit to let some water go. Edemas a lot lighter. It doesnt swell anywhere near as fast. Shoulders still sore, so maybe a pull day tomorrow.

I was hoping my discs would be better in time to walk tonight by being on my heating pad all day, but it seems to be getting a bit worse. I definitely pushed myself too hard last night. Hoping itll be better by tomorrow i guess.

On a side note, i got my post seizure junk food i usually order and the leg day pulled me out of the rut quick.

Update:
Well im not sure whether to call tonight a success or not. Walking to the gym was 100% a mistake. I was walking slow because i was already hurtin a bit and ended up tripping on the sidewalk twuce on the way. Threw my back out for sure and basically waddled the other half the way to the gym.

Heres the good part, figured i probably wont be moving much tomorrow so lets make it a good lift. 3 more PR's.

Flat bench 175 x 3. Couldve done more reps or higher weight but lets not push it.
Incline bench 135 x 6
Upright rows 135 x 5

I even got lucky and my mom surprised me and was waiting in the parking lot to drive me home cause i told her i was still going to the gym after putting my back out on the way. Lol

Btw just macro totals today. Was about 5.5lbs of food or so. Lol. May give myself a single blast of reta to half ass reset me.

Well backs still out to lunch. I can only do so much before im back to the heating pad so i decided to be a man and work my back out. Lol

Only did a simple lift like yesterday and ill do arms tomorrow i think. Ill probably need to take it a tad easy for a few lifts. Only 23 more night lifts to go.

Ill be cutting carbs down tomorrow like i was supposed to on the weekend. Acquired some muffin toppage from the dirty bulk. I may do cardio walks on my rest days to get my knees back in shape as well.

On a side note are those fucking back abs i see? Cant wait to shred after the cycle.

It was in fact an extremely dirty bulk. 🤣. Definitely packed on some fat. Some days were 10000 cal or damn near close ehile i went for protein king badge. Im still bulking but im cutting done by 50% starting today. Ill be bulking til the end of cycle, aiming for 300g protein daily i think will be good.

Incline bench press.
If you do barbell, bring it to the tip of your nose n lift. If dumbbells, keep em high close to your neck line, not the chest line.

Im just getting back into some free weights but i was basically focusing on incline for most chest stuff.

To the touch your nose thing though, thatll put way to much strain on the shoulders man. Thats asking for a shoulder injury. Same with the dumbells at neck line.

I aim for both flat and incline bench to touch my chest at the nipple, arms 45° with wide grip. Dumbells i touch the sides of my pecs with the dumbell which gets my close to 45° on both flat and incline.

10k cal days chasing the protein king badge then reining it in by half, that's a committed bulk right there mate 😂

I forgot about your injury and stuff. yeah if you are still in rehab... maybe not...

But I just credit my chest size and thickness to two movements, incline and decline presses.

Yeah the exercises are good for sure but we meant the bar placement you mentioned. My injury aside, the bar or dumbells at those levels are the reasons for most shoulder injuries while benching in healthy individuals.

Challenge is 43.5% complete. Finally moving steady again after a few setbacks. My edema is starting to do well. I spent the last couple days with no compression socks on and it went well.

Honestly I was like fucksakes when they recommended but then it became super easy to do. Normally I just weigh out two lunches to take with me and write them down in a notebook. I also weigh everything else I eat in the day and write them in the same notebook. I eat mostly the same stuff so I have an idea of what my macros will be at the end of the day. If I’m not sure and really closely monitoring the cut then I’m entering into MFP as I go to ensure that sweet sweet deficit.

That makes a lot of sense and I also eat very similar foods on rotation so it would certainly be possible.

Given more time and experience I will definitely go in that direction especially with the meal prep. Some strong advice brother, I appreciate you 💪💪
 
Good work man! You find the Wolverine stack and ghk does a lot for you?
The ghk has actually helped a lot with my skin. Even with hot showers my forehead rarely gets all dried out. BPC helps mostly with inflammation i noticed. It helped me do longer rehab sessions for my knees previously. TB i couldnt say much about an actuall noticeable difference but i will say this, aside from a few tweaks here and there on my lat from either working or lifting, the stack definitely had me a week or 2 ahead of schedule. I was able to ho full bore cycle at 8 weeks instead of 10 or 12 mind you i am keeping it safer.

I think mfp was like the first thing i suggested to you. Lol

I dont think this costco cable machine is accurate. The plates came with numbers 1-16 so i just assume they are meant to be 10lbs each. The numbers dont matter, as long as the lifts intense.
Yeah mine can be weird too depending on if I use both pulleys in tandem or a single pulley it halves the weight (not accounting for friction of pulleys) due to mechanical advantage. But I go by same parameters. Track weight and increase the amount or reps from whatever weight or reps I did originally. The number at the end of the day is irrelevant.

As long as its muscle shreddingly intense its good. Well not gr 2 tear intense. Lol
