Thoughts/Reflections:
Had one of the best back days in a while today. Everything felt unusually strong, and I was able to add reps across several of my staple lifts. It definitely has me leaning to giving up a bit of leanness in exchange for better lifts. I have been running so lean, for so long that its tough to give up - but also has me wondering if it was affecting me more than I noticed.
I also realized today that I am WAY overdue for bloodwork! With everything thats been going on over the past several weeks, it completely slipped my mind. Which is kind of strange considering I've spent so much time keeping track of my Dad's lab results lately. I'll get that scheduled for next week because....
Tomorrow morning I'm heading up to Minnesota's North Shore for a few days. With my return to work right around the corner, I decided I needed a chance to truly unplug before life gets busy again. The plan is to spend the next few days hiking, exploring, taking in the sights, and just enjoying peace and quiet.
That also means I'll be taking a break from both my phone and the gym. I'm looking forward to disappearing into the woods for a few days and coming back back mentally recharged. So, expect radio silence from me until Sunday evening.
I hope everyone has an awesome rest of the week. Looking forward to catching up with your adventures when I am back from mine!
