Anyone ever have any good/bad experiences with Alpine Body Gear???
Are they Private, because they don't come up at either .com - .net - .org
Just wondering, how did you come across them........................... JP
Had someone pm me on another site saying that's where they get theirs, sent me an email address to get price list... Prices seem high, but then sent me a follow up email with their "sale" which kinda made me weary of them- but 3 get 1 free, buy 4 get 2, buy 5 get 3
Guys, if you are weary of a source don't do it. I haven't heard of them, gearhead hasn't heard much except painful sust and jp can't find anything on them. We have great public sources here, head to the review section and go with them, tried and true. We have domestic, international, public and private sources. Don't take risks on sketchy sources you already have bad feelings about.
I thought this was going to be a thread about gear for alpine climbing. You know? Like mountain climbing, in snow and ice, glaciers and shit?
Don't take chances on this. Someone PM's you a source out of the blue? Most likely a scam. Then follow it up with a "special sale"?? For sure scam.
There's one of the best sources out there that posts on this board. domestic-supply.com he has top quality gear and it's all domestic. No customs.
