I mean can anyone back the claim THAT YOU NEED THEM?
i come down harsh on things like amino acids because every social media fitness guru sells them. they are cheap, legal, and easy to market because they sound pretty awesome. but in the end you get PLENTY of amino acids from actual food, there is absoultely zero reason to waste money on them.
saying they help recovery is a complete scam. your muscles recover from REST, not from taking amino acids lol. this is common sense. and soreness is the body reacting to your workout, again best way to combat soreness is rest. let your body do its thing
the real debate isn't do they work necessarily, but it is DO YOU NEED THEM. and the answer is hell fucking no.. spend your $$$ on food.
