Having some problems with being jittery after using C4 preworkout so I'm in the process of switching to just using BCAA are they as effective as C4 or will I have problems training hard?

if you got yourself addicted to these stupid pre workouts full of stims then yes it will be an adjustment to stop

seems to be what every young guy is doing these days, the proper way to get energy for a workout is through your food and hydration ... over the long term it will pay off so stick with it

BCAA are MUCH more effective then pre-workout. Pre-workout supplements are basically flavoured caffeine. They aren't needed and truthfully, will produce very little in the terms of noticeable results in your physique. Supplement companies push them because they have the highest mark up out of all the supplements you can purchase.

Stick to the typical 'bread and butter' supplements
1. A high quality protein powder

2. A fish oil

3. A high quality multivitamin

4. Creatine

5. BCAA

Stick to the basics. A proper diet, HARD training and consistency is what is going to give you the results you are after. Not some fancy pre-workout drink.

There is only one good pre-workout supplement I admit to be effective and safe - DSpark by N2BM. Other than that, most pre-workouts are full of stims and other shit you don't need.
