Is it worth counting calories if I am clean bulking Test E 500 week/2 pins, 12 weeks/ Dbol weeks 1-4, Tren E weeks 2-8. If so why? Recomendations ect...
Im a very controlled eater. I do measure my food out but do not count calories. I am gaining but not how I would like.

Controlled eating means next to nothing, unless you know your intake how do you know that you are eating enough? Many times people over estimate they amount of food they are consuming calorie wise and that in point is usually why they aren't gaining like they believe they should be and they stay the same weight for months at a time. You want to bulk effectively, count calories, count macros, adjust until you get the desired results. Your measuring of food means nothing if you don't attach calories to them, in my head its pointless to do one and not the other.

myfitnesspal is great to figure out your intake.

Yes!! You cant know youre eating enough if you dont know how much youre really eating, especially when you say you arent gaining like youd like. Typically, the cleaner you eat, the less calories contained in the food, which means the more you have to eat.

So many times guys complain that they can't gain weight and think they have bad genetics or need gear when in reality they dont track calories and only think they are eating enough.

As simple and clear as it is, when I came to the realization on this, I gained more then ever before. Everyone wants to guess on their intake or skip to gear without proper training and diet n wonder why they don't gain.

All true. I guess I didnt think the need to count the calories if I was eating clean and I do mean clean. I will start counting and see where it takes me. I have had some real solid gains with tren and usually start it in the beginning then taper off but wanted to just try something different.

You definitely want to count calories and track your macros. Make sure you are hitting your targets, and for lean bulking I would go with 500-750 calories over maintenance per day

Will do RickRock. Thank you. Is that 500-750 still split the same prot-carbs-fat? I am crazy carb sensitive... what do you recomend.

Everyone's going to be different, so the calories would be split up depending on what macro ratio you are going for. 40/40/20 works great for most people, but if you are super carb sensitive you may want to go 50/30/20 or something like that
