customs seized gear

My luck, just started getting comfortable with receiving shipments. Today I received a letter from US CBP stating my gear was seized.
I'm thinking throw this letter away? Am I on a list now ? Are there future risks with penalties ? Any info from the veterans would be great. Thanks for all your help bros.
 
First write off that gear. Believe it or not some people try to retrieve their gear from customs. Second send a copy of the letter to your source. Hopefully they have a reship policy. Finally, whatever address you sent it to do not reship to that address or use the same name. If you shipped it to your house using your name. Find a buddy that will receive it for you and use his name. Your address could very well be on a watch list now.
 
Thank you. They do have a reship policy with a copy of the letter. I also have a package enroute going to a different address, but same name, kinda worried about that one too..
 
They basically gave you a get out of jail free card. Your name and address are now both flagged. DO NOT have anymore packages shipped to that address or in your name. Have it mailed to a friend.

I would not pick up the package you have on the way. There is a good chance it'll be a controlled delivery. It isn't worth the risk.

Stick with domestic sources from now on.

not a good idea, I know a guy who had some HGH vials shipped to a buddy, by mistake post office dropped this off next door.
the guy went with the package to police
they called the buddy to come to police station ....
 
But if you should happen to encounter whomever delivers it, simply tell them they you haven't ordered anything for a long time and that what they have is not yours, and then walk away.

Now is a good time to find a domestic source, In my 12 yrs on here i never had a problem.
 
I'm definitely not going to try and get my gear. I'm not going to respond to the letter at all. As for the package that is enroute , I'm not home during the day at all to receive said package nor will I answer the bell for any deliveries. Just going to lay low for a bit and eventually have to find another way to get gear.

I had gear seized at customs and was sent a letter. They don't red flag your name or your address, there are way too many parcels, letters, etc. coming through every day to be able to do that. There is not a system or enough man power to be able to do this successfully. They randomly search packages or ones that look suspicious. I have since had other shipments delivered to my house, the same address and name, with no problems whatsover. Just go about your business as usual but just remember that ordering international will lead to packages being seized here and there.
 
I do not think that they bother with a few vials if they see it is for personal, I had seized by customs but some got through later. Never order too many, split into few small orders.
If they open package with tons of vials then you are in deep shit or a few pounds of raw powder.

Very high chance you are on the red list right now. Make sure to contact your supplier and avoid using same shipping details from now on

this is practical thinking. the US is a large and populous country, we aren't Denmark or even Canada where customs can pester people over this sort of thing

as long as you are ordering small amounts they aren't going to care. however your source is likely going to require you to supply an alternate shipping address to reship the items. just the way it goes

Yep. As long as it is personal amounts they won't bother you. All they will do is confiscate and send you a letter. I am in Canada and I got one seized with a letter. The letter stated it was seized and they suggested I get a doctor prescribe needed medication. Lol. They aren't interested in wasting resources on personal amounts.

I agree. I wouldn't worry too much about it. They are only looking for the guys buying large amounts or raw powders.
 
I had that happen to me once back in like 2003. I received a letter from customs saying a package was seized at JFK airport, listed everything that was in it. The letter said to go to customs and produce the proper paperwork (like a valid Drs script) if I want to claim it.

I just scanned the letter and emailed it to the overseas supplier, and they resent free to a different address.

This was way back in the day, and online all I could find was overseas sources. now finding a good domestic source takes a day of researching online. One thing I will never ever do is order where a signature is required. I read a story where the kid was asking legal advice because he got arrested when his GF signed for a package of gear sent to his house. the legal fees alone are crazy just fighting that, nevermind trying to be found not guilty.

Received a pack that was ordered before my seizure ( to different address), no problems , no issues.

Yeah, unless one is in the habit of placing very large orders and/or raw powders, the political state just doesn't give a damn. If nothing else, think of the enormous cost of a controlled delivery. It would likely amount to several thousands of dollars per hour. Ergo, it simply wouldn't make sense to conduct such an operation in order to bust someone for his or her having ordered, say, $500 worth of gear.

Too, all of the federal agencies charged with enforcing AAS laws stood firmly opposed to the Steroid Act of 1990 and the Steroid Act of 2004. Therefore, these agencies obviously carry a halfhearted attitude toward the enforcement of such idiotic laws.

So let us all relax.
