Been reading I have to take digestive enzymes and probiotics every time I take protein or meats. Anything that is valid in this? seems valid to break the protein down for absorption.

bro i do that...probiotics and digestive enzymes stacked....right before and after meals...

define what you mean by protein.

you talking about shakes? shakes have a lot of crap in them that the human body rejects. including dairy, so yeah you need to take enzymes to break that down or you will get the shits and gas. but I have a better solution for you. stop taking shakes!

Bud, if you are having problems with enzymes while taking protein powders, go over to GEAR by N2BM - it comes with all the necessary enzymes already mixed in, so the digestion improves a lot when taking it in comparison with other powders.

However, if you are having problems with the real proteins found in food, @gearhead's advice will considerably help you.

The best time to take probiotics is first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach. Remember that probiotics are a live bacteria. Look for a product that has been kept in the refrigerator. A product stored at room temperature will have a significantly reduced potency.

Supplementing with digestive enzymes will go a long way with helping your body digest and utilize the food you eat. As bodybuilders, we are constantly overloading our digestive systems with the amount of food we eat. You don't need to take them with every meal but I would supplement 2-3 meals per day with digestive enzymes. Look for the ingredients bromelain and pepsin as these enzymes help digest protein.

GEAR by n2bm.com is a fantastic supplement. It contains super plasma serum, BCAA and digestive enzymes to help with absorption.

I also take my probiotics first thing in the morning, as soon as I wake up. There seems to be some debate whether or not to take them with food, but I've noticed better results in digestion when taking them on an empty stomach.
