I am with Steve. Other than a small amount of caffeine when needed, I don't think stims are great for pre workouts. When I say "when needed" I am referring to the odd time you have a terrible sleep or maybe have to train super early in the AM when you are not used to it. I would never recommend stims on an everyday basis before training.
True. It's why now call those asking 'stim freaks'.

I don't use any stimulants pre workout. Now pre WORK is a different story. I prefer to be caffeine free during my workout. But I do normally take something in the AM to get me going for the day. I don't sleep well, (haven't slept through the night in 20 years) so I wake up dragging pretty hard.

I’ve used the dmaa from here which is 40mg per capsule.

However, IMO it’s not much use taking dmaa by itself but add 200mg caffeine and a little rauwolfia and your set.

Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals is a company based out of North Atlanta GA and still produces products containing DMAA. HydroxyElite is their big player it seems.
Short of it is, I have used this in the past year or so and it is solid...like the pre workouts back in "the day".
The company I work for put me in a position to do some subcontracting at their main production facility in Norcross. I spent quite a bit of time there on several occasions. Was a real trip to see BCAA's in thousand pound bulk. What i saw was a consistently clean facility with pharma grade machinery and staff that always had PPE on. Always seemed like they had their shit together, and i never worried about quality after that.
