Insulin - Amps or vials?

Hi all. I'm chasing insulin for a friend however they want to avoid pens. Does anyone carry insulin in vials? Is this even a thing?

Only seen it via pens - I’m sure you can get vials but I haven’t seen that offered here in OZ.

Yes, hence "insulin syringes". Get him vials and have him use 8/16" instead of 5/16" syringes of 8mm, if he thinks he's "leaking". Is he a bodybuilder? It worries me he's not that in know about insulin if he's using it for that.

Where the heck does he store them I've had heaps of pens and no issues. But tbf mine just sit in my fridge

I take mine with me all of the place and have yet to have a issue with breakage

Stored correctly and safely they are travelling with zero issue in my opinion (zip lock bag, in small lunch container, then in a cooler bag) pens + chicken and rice baby

Each to there own but I enjoy the ease of using a pen

Then pens are not leaking.

Ask him more questions like does he keep them in his pocket all day while framing buildings working construction? Otherwise no, they're not leaking.
