You can run SARMS for a very long time without experiencing side effects. Especially cardarine because it isn't a hormone or a stimulant.
The vision side effects of S4 are not overly serious. They will go away as soon as you discontinue usage. The S4 binds to the receptors in the eye. The side effect will go away as soon as you stop taking the S4. S4 doesn't effect the way your eyes work or anything like that.

the way S4 effects eyes is binding to your receptors. if it was long term then life would be simple.. that would mean run some S4 and have receptors clicking for life. that would be a sweet trade off for most guys
unfortunately it doesn't work that way. once you stop taking it then it will be out of your system after a week and all receptor activity will cease.

This is why it is important to cycle on and off properly to avoid side effects. As for long term with S4 there should be no issue. When S4 metabolizes it binds to the eye receptor. When you stop taking it there is no S4 to metabolize anymore so this side effect goes away.

The vision side is temporary, and not even everyone gets it, so I would not worry about it. However I would always do short breaks for sarms, such as 8-12 week cycles followed by 4-10 week breaks
