Saph

Former owners called her sapphire but that's a dumb name IMO, but I wanted to stick with something close.

Very excited to get her

Good luck with the happy good looking DOG. I hear there good DOGs but dont know much about them.

I had a husky that looked similar to yours. She was very active. Very loyal. Extremely smart. They are great dogs. As long as you have a big back yard. Secured fencing because they are escape artists.

They are beautiful dogs.

Ya we have a large lot, not fenced yet so she won't be out unless leashed or chained.

Can't wait to pick her up!

She is beautiful!!!!

Do you have other dogs?

A purr breed Carin, she gets along good with big dogs (likes to try and kill other little ones lol).

I always loved Nanook as a name. She's a cutie! I love the blue eyes :)

Ya NEED2 tell her, she has enough little "rats". My poor little TINKA, she would absolutely hate U if U came home with another DOG.
YA ya do it so I can have my little TINKA. I would then go get a purse so she could hang out in it. It could B like living in L.A."h-wood" I will even get her a DOGGY dress

She's a doll, great fit.

I caught that too! One of my favorite movies.

Drew, did you rename her?

I wante to but she's 5yrs old and knows Sapphire or Saphy so we stuck with Saphy to keep the transition into a new home easier.

Nice name. Love it actually. :)

Husky is a very active dog, at 5 she should still have some energy to burn with you.

My biatch is named Sapphire as well. Half the time she's called "Sis, or Sissy".

Here she is as a puppy. I love this pic.

Shes a 55 pound ball of muscle now. lol

Love how intelligent and aware the Husky is, looks at me for an ok before doing anything and has picked up a few new tricks with just a few days of working. Starting working with establishing me as the alpha day 1 and she already has that down. Held her on her back once until she calmed down from trying to bite me day 1, and been feeding her from my hand, working on tricks and taking her food away and then back. She was a little growly day 2 when I took a bone away but by day 4 I could giver her a bit of meat and she will let me take it away without a peep. Started working with establishing my wife as higher in the pack yesterday (had her take her bone away a few times an then give it back, her hair stood up but she looked at me and after i gave did a little bark/command she let her do it).

Very smart.

In a few weeks I'll borrow someones older kids and use them to work with her some more. Smart dog thou, it took months for my wifes little dog to learn the same traits.

Walk yesterday and some little black lab mix that was loose ran up to her growling, her hair all stood up and she looked very wolfish when she backed him right now  Thank God, last thing I want to do is shoot someones mutt for attacking my dog.
