41 years old,male. I've been lifting for 8 or nine years..Looking to feel better, gain mass and drop body fat. I'm considering starting a cycle of injectables, any recommendations would be appreciated.
 
Yes, your 1st Cycle should always be a Test Only Cycle.
Using 1 of the Long Ester Tests like Cypionate or Enanthate will make your Injection Schedule easier.
You'll be able to get by with 2 a Week Injections, 3 days apart for Stable Hormone Levels.

A 10 Week Cycle would be a good length, dosing @ 250 Mg ~ twice a week.
Using Aromasin as your AI, @ 12.5 Mg EOD if it's Tablets, and 10 Mg EOD if Liquid.

You must have your Diet and Training On-Point to get the most out of your Cycle.
If you're aren't Tracking your Daily Macros + Sodium and Sugar.

Also, do a Pre-Cycle Bloodwork to get a Baseline and to make sure you're healthy enough to run AAS.

A simple testosterone cycle of 10-12 weeks at 400-500mg/week is your best option for a first cycle. Being new to steroids, your body will hyper respond and you don't need a very aggressive cycle. It's very similar to an 18 year old having their first drink. A single drink really hits them because they have never drank before. However, a more experienced drinker would need much more alcohol to get the same effect.

This sport is all about progression. It's a marathon. You want to start slowly and work your way up. For a second cycle you can do testosterone + an oral as a kick start. For a third cycle you can do testosterone + an anabolic + an oral as a kick start, etc. If you start with a very aggressive cycle right off the bat, where will you go from there when you plateau? By starting slow you leave 'all your aces in the hole' and will be able to make progressive gains for a long time.

Here's what I recommend:

Weeks 1 - 10
testosterone 500mg/week (get test e or test cyp so you only need to inject twice per week. Inject 250mg twice per week)
aromasin 12.5mg every other day (VERY important to keep estrogen in the low-normal range to prevent estrogen related side effects like gyno and water retention)

everyone says to start out with a test cycle because it is mildly androgenic and anabolic at proper dosages. so you get a taste of what AAS can do.

the biggest problem with test which gets guys in trouble is that it aromatizes heavily into estrogen. so make sure you are using an AI from day 1. don't listen to those geniuses on other forums that say you don't need an AI.

once you graduate you can start trying out more anabolic/mild compounds and once you get more experienced down the line you can try more androgenic ones like tren

Either start with solo test cycle like the boys suggested, or read up sarms if you dont want to spend too much money, inject yourself and do the recovery
