Idk zzyz would have been more of just physique I think the classic physique will be cool like a throw back with dudes with big backs small waists crazy arms people that arent quite big enough to compete as a body builder but to bog to do physique

Il have to see how it turns out. The fact that it's a brand new division allows an early in. It may not be my ideal choice but the opportunity out weighs everything else. This is how a lot of friends went big in physique. They dumped bodybuilding real quick and hit the top ranks in physique.

I just think it's ridiculous cause the principal of it lol. Just more entry fees for the npc...

Lol ya man there is a physique side to my posing classes. I do bodybuilding on the other side with my coach but it's so distracting watching those dudes. Lol its absolutly ridiculous.

And they mentioned they will scale back physique even further. They will look for less muscle now with classic physique.

They will be wearing classic black trunks and posing will be different than physique as well. It will include dbl bicep and a couple others, and instead of most muscular it will be a favorite classic pose. I think it's a good thing. Should be interesting to see how it plays out. Sadik will be perfect for this division!

No no classic physique will be almost golden era style. You will have posing and the will wear the spandex trunks like LA said.

Men's physique will be dialed down to less muscle and more athletic looking. AKA Giirrrrrlly Men! No offense to physique bros but you have to admit if they take it a bitch lower it may as well be bikini.

Posing will be a more classical approach. I believe there will be a routine for 60 seconds as well..it's going to be real interesting to see for sure. I already know who some top competitors will be in this for sure. A lot of guys will jump right on it.

This is stupid. Im an oldschool fan and i think this is the dumbest thing ever. Instead of creating this division just get better judges for bodybuilding!!!!! 5'7" and up to 170lbs wtf! Franco was almost at 190lbs at 5'5" and hes one of the top classical bodybuilders.

Ya I don't see that happening though. It's like racing. Someone's always gotta make the car faster. They all keep getting faster and faster to stay competitve. Nobody gonna go back to the slow car. Just how it goes I guess.

Bodybuilding has transformed and will continue to do so. They will keep getting bigger.

I think they know that to and this is there way of bringing back that old school image. The classes will change I'm sure. It won't be active till next year and if you look at every division, the classes change in the elemtary stages. Weight classes and all won't stay that way I'm sure.

Ya the pro cards will go out like candy. They already do. An annual NPC card is 125 bucks man. Plus you gotta pay about $100 per class you wanna do. Racks up quick. And they know this class with catch fire like nobodies business.

The more I think on it Il probably throw down in a contest. First year will probably be free or low entry fee I'm assuming. That's how physique went.

I think this will be cool for people thay do not want to take years off thier life lol. Not.many know what it takes to go pro in bodybuilding. Much if it would kill the average person.

Shit im hearing a lot about bodybuilding divisions having only one or two guys. Its crazy how quick its dying. This extra divisions only going to make it worse. I might get flamed for this but i think its because bodybuilding is much harder than these 2 divisions and people are just turning to the easier divisions to place and compete. Kinda like if someone made a seperate NBA league for people under 6 feet lol...Lots of people say they choose it because they want more aesthetics but i think thats complete bullshit. You chose how you want your body to look. If more smaller guys competed in bodybulding they would have just made more weight classes....But nooo everyone ran away to physique..Now more are gonna "run" away to classic physique and bodybuildings just gonna be left with mostly mass monsters.

And they actually tried this in the mid-90s. It was a basketball league with a maximum height of 6'4. The per team salary cap was going to be $600k, and Jordan's brother was supposed to play in it. I honestly don't remember if they even played a game.

I think it's going to be huge. Much better then physique in my opinion. At least these guys pose. That was the biggest thing I disliked about physique. I love the physiques of some of the current pros, but I hate the side turns. It is incredibly boring to watch.

Notice how it's called 'classic physique' and not 'classic bodybuilding'. Bodybuilding as we know it is dieing.

Getting a pro-card in physique is no easy task. The classes are EXTREMELY competitive. You will notice this at your first show.

There will be 10-20 guys in your class of bodybuilding. Each men's physique class will have 40-50 competitors.

The physiques are more attainable but the judging and placings are extremely competitive and subjective.

This division is what IS bodybuilding. Bodybuilding at the mr O level in the open class is full of slin abusers with their guts sticking out and look prego. Philsulina for example... I respect the mr O competitors but honestly it's a freak show not bodybuilding anymore

This isnt even gonna be close to bodybuilding. Modern bodybuilding can be pushed in the right direction if the judges stop ass kissing previous Mr O winners. Idk why its so hard to dethrone current olympias. Look at Big Ramys recent pics he looks crazy and aesthetic for a mass monster. It will be a shame if he doesnt take it this year unless Phil or Kai get their guts together. Blame judges 100%. If judges chose only people with small waists as winners, then everyone would try to also get a small waist to win.
