Old Bodybuilders Suck!

nelson montana

V.I.P. - Author
What can an old bodybuilder know when there's no much more new information today? They only know what they remember from when they were young! And they always talk about the "old days!" They just haven't kept up with the young lions of today.

Their ideas are outdated. Their methods are obsolete. They're worthless.

FOR EXAMPLE...

Here are a few of the guys before MY time! All from the 60's! These are the guys I interviewd over the years. They had a weatlth of valuable information. At least I used to think so. Now I know better.

Now I know that there's always some guy on a message board who knows more! He's younger so he MUST! He does drugs these guys never heard of! So why listen to what THEY have to say. EVERYBODY on this message board -- on EVERY message board looks better than any of these guys. And anyone old MUST be out of touch. Like my grandfather, always fumbling and confused. It's sad.

Pffft. What do these guys know? Look at them! Pitiful! And who can blame them? No tren back then. No DNP. No clenbuterol. No cardarine. No GH. No Nolvadex. No Clomid. Hell, they didn't even do any cardio. No one fasted. Idiots!

So, come on guys. Post those pics! And show those old farts how it's done!

I just realized that those thumbnails don't show up on a phone. So the point of this post is lost on 90% of the people seeing it. Oh well. LOL

I see it on my phone Nelson.

Anyways. I do agree with you that insulin and hgh make bodybuilders look like freaks.

I do use HGH but I NEVER use insulin anymore, I found it is the problem that bloats the gut.

Guys using insulin have to be SUPER perfect on diet but they are NOT! Milos Sarcev uses insulin with tiny waist but he keeps a PERFECT diet.

With insulin these guys are building fat UNDER the ab muscle that's the issue seems.

Like I said I think they can look better but the audience wants MONSTERS and monsters win.

Look at big ramy he looks like shit, total joke. Brandon Curry should have won!

Okay, let me knock this down a few notches.

The post was being sardonic. It was not about the state of pro bodybuilding. It was jokingly addressing the fact that there are people who think that anything that happened before they were alive has no relevance. It's why we have a multitude of young people who are enormously ignorant. And that goes for bodybuilding too.

And ignorance by itself isn't so bad. It's the fact that there are people who revel in it. They're proud of it. They honestly think that what they don't know, doesn't matter. So to those, I offer this...

Post your pics. Let's compare them to the guys who did everything wrong according to the hot shot message board gurus. And then we can tell for sure which way is the better way.

Now, you might say those pics are guys who were the best of the best. But not so. Most bodybuilders back then trained because they WEREN'T genetically gifted. Hell, I was scrawny as hell and I'd say I look better than most of the guys here who are half my age and use five times as much gear as I've ever done.

So let's see. And then I'll shut up.

And if not, then maybe some of the guys with the biggest mouths need to shut up.

This is normal occurrence, called progress in the society, better diets, products, training technics, etc., no surprise

Do they speak well?

Notice how no one took me up on my offer. Where are those pics? Where are all the guys who say that the old advice is no longer relevant? Talk about "poosies."

People make these judgement based on the pros. No body here is a pro.

It's easy for any jerk off to spout crap and criticize and put down others. It's something else to back it up. You can listen to someone who's accomplished and can will help you get bigger, stronger and healthier using a tiny bit of steroids or sarms and supplements , or you can listen to loser lunkheads with zero credibility who are nothing but strangers hiding behind a computer. A bunch of paper tigers talking out of their asses.

I hope people are paying attention

I think those guys look great. I’m not sure who it is that has said that the older generation didn’t know what they were doing but imo they obviously did

It's not so much that anyone put down the old champions. But here's the thing...

Most everyone here have more in common with those old timers than they realize. Today's bodybuilding champs are the genetic elite who have an extraordinary receptor affinity for the drugs. And they take monstrous amounts. THAT is what makes a champion. The older guys were real bodybuilders who built themselves up with knowledge of training and nutrition and supplmentation and then a little juice along the way. And they wound up looking great into their 60's whereas the guys today are dropping dead in their forties.

But some of these idiots think that it's better to follow the people with the amazing genetics and all they have to do is take as much gear as them to get the best results. But beyond that, they completely ignore the tactics that developed amazing physiques without cardio, without nolva, without a "test base" without fasting, all the while drinking lots of milk and using a fraction of the gear that some newbies here use.

So my point is ...I learned quite a bit from them and would like to pass it along. But not only will some people not listen, they attempt to put the advice down as old, outdated and worthless. And they feel superior in their ignorance.

Sometimes I feel like I should remember what Mark Twain said : "Don't try to teach a pig how to sing -- it's a waste of time, and it annoys the pig."

Nelson why do you hate the new bodybuilding so much?

Don't you love the amazing big ramy cut physique lol

I can agree with this. Back in older days there was more of a work ethic I would say people learned from each other and just training hard and eating what their body responded to. But today there is way to much gear usage and people idolize the mass monsters which there is nothing wrong with my any means but they thing just because they read a post where someone is blasting 1000’s of grams of multiple compounds they will get the same results and that’s not how it works. There are many other factors that play into it. But to me I have love for the mass monsters but I it’s not my thing. I’m more of a fan of let’s say the bumstead look but to each their own.

I'm not sure if you're being facetious, but I have no hate for todays' guys. I said THREE TIMES this is not about what the pros do.

Oh well. I guess it's too complex an issue for some people to understand. My apologies.

For me this is an easy no they do not.

Simple: we are where we are now as humanity never mind via Iron athletes of all kinds as a pure result of what has gone before.

Be that in the physiques themselves, the nutrition, the training, the equipment (and the gyms) and even the competitions.

Now in some ways we've never had it so good:
Access to equipment (or copies of it via Alibaba ha ha) from half across the world (and at far less than the original costs).
PEDs of all kinds and with a HUGE range to choose from.
The same with supplements (and products like N2Guard or N2JointRX)
Prize money and the ability to earn from the sport ($400,000 for winning the MrO)
Even information (of all kinds).

If there's an issue it's a little bit info overload and a LOT of too much opportunity to influence both negatively and positively. Hence, as with many other aspects of live, we've gotten faster, higher and, yes with PEDs, MORE. And not always as with the best of intentions.

Instead of looking at 'what's the limit?' we ought (esp for PEDs) look at 'what's optimal?'. Now whether we say it was old bodybuilders or even today's crazy mofos (Bostin et al) there's no excuse not to have us learn from what they did wrong as well as what they did right
