PSL Cycle Review and Bloods

Okay I’ll preface with this: PSLs shit is legit and I will be ordering again soon.

This is going to kind of be a cycle results/PSL review all in one. This was my first cycle. Please don’t hate me for not doing a log. I had every intention, but life got busy during my cycle, and it just didn’t happen. I was on 200mg Test C per week prior to this cycle through my TRT Clinic

I am 5'8" amd 37 years old. I've been lifting on and off again since i was about 21 years old. But I've never been as serious about lifting as I have been the last few years except for the first few years after I first started lifting.

Here is what I did for my cycle:

Anavar 25mg/day for 8 weeks

Test Cyp 400/week for weeks 1-14 injected three times a week M-W-F

Test Cyp 350/wk tapered down to 200/wk for week 15-16 (200 is my normal trt dosage)

I ordered Aromasin for E2

I also used supps to protect my liver and all that good stuff as well.

All in all I had a lot of really good success with my cycle. When I started my cycle I was around 185-190lbs around 15% bf. I got up to 217lb over 16 weeks but my body fat got up to about 17.6%. I am currently sitting at 195lbs but am probably either in the 12’s or damn close to the 12’s in BF%.

I havent done and in body scan at this body weight but based on the way I look in the mirror Im doing good. I am much more cut than I was at the 190lbs when I started my cycle....abs are looking great, more veins showing, etc....

I have to admit my diet was shit a lot of the time. Work got crazy and there were several weeks during my cycle where I was work 70-80 hours a week. Which led to a lack of meal prep and not getting enough sleep.

I will say though the stuff I bought from PSL was definitely legit. I have posted some of my pre cycle bloodwork as well as my bloodwork I had done about 5 weeks into my cycle. The labs speak for themselves on the legitimacy of PSLs products.

Now to address my bloodwork:

AST – This is slightly elevated but I have been getting labs done for the past 7 years and it is always around this level. It is basically my normal. My PCP is not concerned about it at all.

My cholesterol got up a bit. I’ve never had problems with it before and I’m guessing the Anavar had something to do with it. I loved the pumps I got while lifting from Anavar and I’m betting if my diet had been cleaner it wouldn’t have affected my levels as much.

Red blood cell count is high but I’ve been really good since this test about giving blood every 8 weeks. Most of the Red Cross workers know me now lol.

My estrogen was also high but honestly I had absolutely zero side effects from it so I didn’t worry too much about it. No gyno sides, no bloating, etc…

Test levels were in the 1800s compared to 700s with just my TRT dosage. PSLs shit is legit.

Here is what I would do differently if I could do it all over again.

1. I would have started out at a lower BF percentage. I would like to have been closer to 12% like I am now before starting another cycle.

2. I would skip the Anavar for my first cycle. While it obviously helped, I think I would rather save Anavar for a cut when I’m in a deficit when maintaining muscle is more difficult.

3. My diet. My diet wasn’t nearly as good as it should have been. My BF got too high….I ate too much garbage….My only saving grace was that I always got enough protein and calories so I still put on muscle but I hate the way I feel when I’m too fat. I hate the slow sluggish feeling of my BF being too high.

4. More sleep. Work was mostly to blame for this during this cycle but I need to do better of putting the phone down at night and going to sleep.

5. Keep a log on here as well as progress pics.

My next cycle I’m going to run Test and Deca. I’m hoping to start that within the next few weeks. I’m trying to lower my body fat to the bottom of the 12s before I start which shouldn't take too much longer. I’m going to order my next cycle soon (trying to cash in on PSL compensation for bloods lol)

Keep an eye out for my log on my next cycle. Ive attached my previous trt labs and my PSL cycle labs.

Excellent review sir and summery of your protocol! Thank you very much for sharing this with us!! I`m very happy to hear you had such a great cycle!! I completely agree that your lipids is due to the anavar. It is extremely common for anavar to have that effect on lipids. Let me ask you a question. I could be wrong but based on your lab work I think you may of been a bit dehydrated when you had them drawn. Did you have any water prior to your lab work? When fasting for blood work you can still drink water. I highly suggest drinking water prior to lab work and being hydrated as being dehydrated can skew some values. Your hematocrit for example may not even be as high as it is (that is not high imo and I let me run higher than that) but it may be more like 48 or so. Rbc, hemoglobin and hematocrit can all appear higher than they really are if we aren`t properly hydrated. Also your creatinine being slightly elevated could be related to being dehydrated.

Now I said all that Not to criticize you but to help you and to educate you :)

Again, I think you absolutely nailed this thing and the breakdown including the things you would do differently. This was a very valuable learning experience for you.

Very good call on not taking an AI. From what you said and not higher than your e2 is I really don`t think you needed it lowered. Testosterone and e2 are best looked at as a ratio so when testosterone is higher than it is great for e2 to be higher as well. You generally don`t want your e2 at that same place it is on your trt protocol when you are doing blast :)

Did you know that PSL offers store credit for posting blood work while using our products? If you haven`t discussed this with anyone from Team PSL or our customer care team on the website then this is something we can sort out for you if you are interested?

Again, very well done from start to finish!

I didn't take that as you criticizing me at all. I'm still new to all of this so I'll take any good advice I can get. I was likely a little dehydrated. I've always been told before bloods to not eat or drink anything so that is something new I learned. I'll be sure to drink plenty of water the night before and make sure to drink some the morning of.

As far as my hematocrit I'm not too concerned about it. That was really when I first started giving blood. I didn't realize I needed to be giving blood regularly even on TRT to I had a moment where my count was pretty high. I've since gotten that under control and regularly donate blood. In fact I actually like the way I feel after giving blood....kinda feels like reset almost.

Yeah I wasn't a huge fan of the Anavar. No doubt it was working and was legit but I definitely was not a fan the effect it had on my lipids and I swear I could "feel" a difference in the way my body performed. I would be open to using it again on a cut when I'm doing more cardio and eating cleaner. It might not have as bad of an effect then. Again my diet was pretty dirty this cycle which I plan on cleaning up a lot (already have because of my current cut).

I'm looking forward to the Test/Deca cycle I'll be running next.

Excellent. I work in healthcare and I can tell you that the reason they say "don`t eat or drink anything" is because they find it to be easier because enough people don`t understand the difference between plain water and something with calories that they just make that blanket statement. I`ve seen it happen before where someone will say "I only had a cup of coffee" then I respond that`s ok because it was just black coffee right? They respond and say " Yeah.....but it had cream too" haha. So it`s easier for them just to say nothing to eat or drink. Healthcare is full of "blanket statements" or "blanket actions" where a few people can`t follow a specific direction and the healthcare side modifies what they do across the board because they don`t know who will and who won`t follow the directions. So, yeah that`s the reason for that.

When it comes to donating blood I know what you mean about how you feel afterwards as I like that feeling as well. Just be careful you are not donating to often because you can deplete your iron and ferritin by donating to often. Now, if this happens it`s easy enough to fix because you can buy an iron supplement at any store that sells supplements but it`s takes a few weeks for levels to raise and you are stuck feeling like crap in the meantime. When you get lab work done you can always add on an iron level as that is almost always a really cheap test. I`d honestly suggest anyway that donates regularly to check their iron level when they get their routine labs just to be on the safe side.

Anavar is a phenomenal compound. Idk if you experienced it or not but it`s some what common to suffer from "muscle pumps" while using anavar. This is where all the blood is rushing to a specific muscle and it literally gets a massive pump which is very painful. Low back pumps are the worst. If that`s something you or anyone deals with then supplement with 3-6 grams of taurine along with electrolytes and plenty of water. This combination does wonders for these dreaded pumps. :)

Goodluck on your cut! I`m a big carb cycling fan myself. Generally 1 high carb day, 3 medium and 3 low. The high carb day needs to be very controlled and is not to be confused with a cheat day. Fat and protein stay consistent every day and the only thing you change is carbs. If I could give 1 piece of advice to someone cutting it would be to Not have any cheat days or even cheat meals. A huge cheat meal or a cheat day can totally wreck your progress and by the time you start losing fat good again it`s time for another cheat day/meal. By not cheating at all the carb cycling diet really shines bc u are kinda getting a cheat day (the high carb day) but it`s very controlled and regulated. A high day may be something like 400 carbs. Medium days 250 carbs then low days 100 carbs. This is examples and it all depend on your maintenance calories.

I`m done rambling now. If I can be of any help to you please feel free to hit me up.

@N0b0dy1987 welcome to the EVO family, good to have you :)
The big learning experience is here, and well done on the play by play here.

I would say #1 that you missed would be 5 on your list, keeping a LOG is the most important thing if you ask me.

But there is never doubt that PSL is legit, Euro pharma has been around for 22 years so 100% legit and respected.
