Just curious if Test will go bad beyond a certain length of time? The human grade stuff I have has an expiration date but if its stored properly in a dark area at room temp, is there a point it will decrease in potency or go bad?

You'll probably get several different answers on this but my opinion is this. Probably wont kill you but it will definitely will lose potentcy imo, just like any pill from pharmacy. However, bacteria may be a problem. If it were mine, i might push it a couple months(not recommended) but thats all. That expiration date is there for a reason and no test is worth losing an arm, leg, or buttock. Probably best to just trash it.

Considering cost of testosterone I have to agree. With that said it’s always best to store any thing like AAS in a cool dark place.

Absolutely, Gruntwerkz.
Beyond that, however, the talk of storing AAS in a cool, dark place always reminds me of the first time I had sex. It was cool! It was dark! I was frightened! I was alone!

I'm out! I'm out! I'm out!

Drugs don't become rancid or anything like that. As drugs expire, they loose potency. Absolute worst case the expired testosterone will be slightly less potent then normal

Exactly. It may take some time for this to happen again depending on storage and handling.

There are some good studies on this type of stuff.
How many people have a bottle of ibuprofen or tylenol or something like it that when checked the expiration date had expired by a few months. Or had been expired for a yr before you realized it. Yet it had been working as it should.
I have inhalers that cost a lot of money for asthma. I am not throwing it away because it says it expired. They have to put that on there in the event there is a discrepancy or a problem they have something to fall back on. Kind of a safety net you can say.

Hell, I’ve eaten stuff that has been long expired and survived. Used medications that were over a year outdated and no issues. A number of years ago the US Military did a study on most common prescription meds and found that at 5 yrs old they were only slightly less potent than normal, and after 10 yrs they were still as high as 80% of new. Most of this was done on antibiotics, but still lessens the credibility of manufacturers and doctors claims that something that is 6 months old should be tossed. There is no money in saying they are good for 5 or 10 yrs!

Yes exactly!! These were some interesting tests and studies! Big pharma cant keep producing and charging if we are hanging on to the old stuff..the truth shall set you free!!

the same is true with a lot of foods

eggs can be good for a long time after expiration too, but the egg companies want you buying more .. its a ruse
Thos is true i just learned. Just bummed some eggs from mom a while back and found oug later they were a month or more old.

Legally speaking, and here in the state of California, an egg may be sold as a "fresh egg" if it is anything less than one month old. And I would imgine that that rule applies to all states, though I cannot be certain of that.

Your mother was correct. Provided that the eggs in question were properly refrigerated the entire time, they were perfectly fit for human consumption, and maybe even fit for your consumption, Sam. ;-)
