Valentines Day

Nothing exciting here. The old flowers and dinner standby, but I'm not very original. She seems to be happy that I just don't forget the holiday.
 
dinner and getting my girl a new set of rehband knee sleeves haha. hey stevesmi since im new I cant start a thread or send a personal message is there any other way I could contact you about crossfit and recovery? maybe email?
 
Thats funny! Ive been the same way over the years but lately realized that they really do take these holidays very seriously and cherish the memories when you do something very special.I also enjoy spoiling my wife .I'm not sure either but it'll involve flowers,some form of jewelery ,they'll of course be a romantic meal at our favorite Italian restaurant and some very good sex.I hope...

I actually really hate valentines day, which is weird since I'm a girl, lol. Most restaurants have a limited menu with jacked up prices, flowers are ridiculously over priced and I don't eat candy.

My husband spoils me throughout the entire year with spontaneous dates, flowers and small (or big) gifts. I'm not one of these gals that needs dinner, flowers and candy on valentines day. Flowers and brunch on mother's day etc.

Honestly I'm happy just hanging with the hub.

However, we are going to dinner this weekend and calling it "valentines" dinner.

Next weekend will be our own romantic getaway....at home.
 
we don't do valentines day either. Wife thinks its stupid. But for that day ill still do something nice. Detail her car and hang out around the house
 
Going training then going to local gourmet burger joint. We hate dressing up for food. A beautiful skin tight dress can be ruined by food bloat and we like to eat.

And then deadpool in the cinema.

It’s our 10th year together this year, so I’m going a little above what I would normally do. Going with the standard flowers and personalized card, but no candy this year as we’re both in the process of rebuilding our diets and sugar is a big no-no at the moment. Couples massage in the morning. Hitting up a movie in the afternoon (most likely Deadpool). Dinner at a swanky new steak house that opened up last year near us and we’ve been wanting to try. Afterward, she thinks we’re just going home. In reality, we’re going to a hotel suite with a hot tub that I rented. I’ll prepare the room earlier in the day so it’s set when we get there. (I told her I’ll need to run to the office briefly between the movie and dinner to check something. Since it’s tax season, this is totally believable.) Going full out cheese mode on this one. Going to have rose pedals leading from the door to the hot tub and bed. If I have enough pedals left over, I’ll put a heart on the bed itself. Champagne flutes will be at the edge of the tub. Unfortunately, we’ll be drinking non-alcoholic sparkling wine instead of actual champagne since we’re both not drinking at the moment. In between those flutes will be the box containing the bracelet/necklace combo she’s had her eye for a while now.
 
I am going out for coffee with a new girl I met in one of my nutrition courses.

Much cheaper then a restaurant lol.

We usually only have time for a dinner. My sons birthday is the day before so when Valentine's Day falls on a weekend, so does his party. It is also my dads birthday. This year we also have a hockey tournament. It will be busy but as long as we spend the time together, I'm happy.
 
Last year we bought cars, can't imagine how to top this year :)

I honestly don't care of Vday &&& I'm a girl, HA! It's really just another national holiday to try to stabilize the economy. I'm happy any chance I get to spend QT with the hub with no distractions

Not important to me, but my husband loves it. He's a true romantic. Loves the whole idea of people in love and all the romance stuff.

Then again, he's a guy first and foremost, so food in his belly and some good sex......and then, he's obviously the happiest guy in the World!!!

Men, such simple creatures, they're so easy to please!
