I need to level up now. I have with the size there’s plenty there and more to come, that shits easy.
But the conditioning - the true stage conditioning I’m still trying to nail.
Reflecting on my performance and physique - I was not happy with my mid section.
I honestly am still learning what works for my body and I just don’t believe carbs work for me. They blur my abs, thicken up my waist line. I’m better off not flattening out so I don’t have to fill back up and competing on an empty stomach. None of this eating heaps of food bullshit it don’t work and makes you hold water around your stomach.
I was very happy with my waistline in 2024 Romania muscle fest - I didn’t do a carb up I ate fats instead. Drumsticks, chicken thighs, nuts and minimal carbs like 80g rice with 5 meals
Not fucking 250g rice with every meal.
I ate like almost 5kg of rice before the show ffs.
My take away from this is that I know what works for me I just gotta do it and stop thinking there is another way or there is some magic behind it.
Yeah I was big and full and that’s great, But at the cost of my shape. So I was a little disappointed in that!
