Approved Log My Training Lifestyle TRT Journal

I already do meal prep. I have brekky blended and lunch made so I finish gym before work and can eat on the way to work. Then my wife has the pre dinner blended tuna for me ready to go before dinner when I get back.
Need to get more breaks in at work lol. Maybe I should fill my tool belt with nuts and snack on them during the day too.
When I go and get another deer I'll make some biltong and snack on that too.

Alrighty, I'll bugger off the deca only idea. I'll keep test as a base. Is there a dosage you'd recommend?
It's more the protein we wanna get up higher for your recovery with your job plus those types of workouts, so nuts will be good for fats and calories but not so much protein. Just double the tuna for now and add an extra scoop of protein in your brekky blend. If you're still drinking 1L of milk in the morning just throw in a protein powder scoop or two to that.

As for your test dosage it seems to be working fine for now especially if you're humping the wife in your sleep LOL. Keep doing the 150mg TestE (continue to pin twice a week half that dose) and let's get your bloods done with e2 as the main reason.

Taking a random dose of arimidex a random # of times per week won't accomplish much until we see your bloodwork. Your test and free test will be just outside the high range likely and we'll know what to do with your a-dex once we know your e2 levels.

Get a full hormone panel done: test, free test, estrogen, prolactin, shbg, lh, fsh. etc

Are you getting this done private or is it covered under insurance because I can go balls out and give you a full comprehensive list of what to get if money isn't holding you back, otherwise just the above is good for now

If I do it privately it's expensive as. But I'm unsure how asking for certain bloods to be taken goes. I guess I'll see when I book In to see him.

Here in Canada we can just be honest with our docs, tell him what you're running and that you need those blood markers checked. He'll understand what each one is and why and should do it. Don't let him convince you you don't need any of the ones I listed.

Hopefully your doctor is fairly progressive otherwise you might struggle getting any of those hormones other than total test (that's generally the case in Aus so most of us use the private places). If you ask him for a full check up as well it should include cholesterol, full blood count, liver etc.

Yeah I hope he's good when I ask for what Harley said to get. But he's the guy who said my levels were still close enough to normal to not warrant trt lol

Was this the testing place where the only locations were in the north island? I looked into them but no clinics were anywhere near me.

Quite likely, they didn't have one in Wellington either. I'm thinking of saving up and catching the bus or something to a town they do have one in. The lab tech at the drug testing place said Awanui Labs does private too of you ask, this is where the government sends me for my quarterly liver tests.

Mini update:

Had my 4th or something injection yesterday morning before gym. Tried into my quad rather than my glute for once. Had some weird stinging for a couple hours, now it's like a hard lump and feels like a bruise. Unsure what's the deal there but I think I'll keep to my glutes from now on lol.

Upped my after work meal protein a bit as per suggestion from Harley guy, it'll take a while to get used to as my gut isn't used to fitting in that plus my dinner a half hour or so later, but I guess I'll deal with it for less Doms.

Felt quite weak on my deadlift day yesterday, Unsure why, still did better than last week but form fell apart on the last few reps.

Sleep is still lacking. But going through teething so trying to find some self discipline to get up for gym after being up all night with him is difficult but ill make the call based on how sore I am in the mornings, if I genuinely need more rest then it is what it is.

Hope you have all been well. Thank you in advance for any feedback.

Never pin quads because they flare way more often and give you lumps like that so keep all your shots in glutes and shoulders for clean painless absorption. :D @antipodean
You still got progress in even with weak deads and low sleep, stay strong you will have easier nights soon :D

Glutes is the best place I know by far, almost never have a problem there once I figured it out. Be careful with the quad man. Might just be a hystermine reaction, they can be caused by the bit that leaks out the top when you're pushing the air out - you can avoid that by rincing it under the tap and flicking the water off.

I learnt proper glute position by following comments from @waggat in my log, check this one out. He was getting his wife to draw on his ass but I used the phone camera, then once I'd got the position right I figured out how to layer the elastic on my boxers to about that height, and aim for that. Now I don't even look and can just reach around and pin it.

@HarleyGuy also gave me good quad instructions early on but I can't find them now sorry, I'd master the glute since you don't pin every day it should be okay.

I did find a new form of rotation tho, to my mind anyway, where I recently started using 1.5" tips for glutes, and if one day I use 1" and the next 1.5", the oil depots are half an inch apart.

I did a few searches on the internet you can find videos and tutorials easily its one of the best spots less nerve endings normally no pip or pain after pin

Have a look into vent glute mate. To me that's the best spot by far. I've started doing normal glute and delt and they're not bad but not as good as VG.
 
Sorry for the lack of updates guys I've been quote busy as of late so spending what free rime I've git with my family or getting into the gym.

Getting a blood test today, I asked for a full hormone check but apparently the doctor says I don't need it and if I want more then he won't put it down for me and I'll have to pay for it.
He also says I'm going to 'get heart disease and die' because taking testosterone is 'very very dangerous'. And he 'hopes they are giving me fake stuff'

Ill get the results next week or at the end of this week. Getting test, shbg, fsh, ac1, lh, lipid test, free test. He refused to look at my estrogen as it 'doesn't matter'.

I think I'll have to change my doc guys.
No, the private cheap options for tests aren't available to me where I am located in the south island.

Other updates include my quad Injection site is now a bruise type colour, was itchy as but it's calming down now. I will continue to get into the vent glute area from now on.

Ill upload some gym sessions soon.
Notable increases in weight include
I did some heavy squats for once, 155kg, went heavier on my bench to 117.5. Didn't dradlift this week, had a couple more rest days, did something to my inner arms, about where the elbow is on the opposite side, when I did a heap of pullups the other day. Maybe they weren't used to being stretched under weight, so it took a few days to get over.

Overall, energy has been better, enough to finally feel like I'm being a better father and able to do early gym sessions. A win in my books.

Anyway I'll post some gym days this arvo if I get the chance.

Getting a blood test today, I asked for a full hormone check but apparently the doctor says I don't need it and if I want more then he won't put it down for me and I'll have to pay for it.
He also says I'm going to 'get heart disease and die' because taking testosterone is 'very very dangerous'. And he 'hopes they are giving me fake stuff'

Ill get the results next week or at the end of this week. Getting test, shbg, fsh, ac1, lh, lipid test, free test. He refused to look at my estrogen as it 'doesn't matter'.

I think I'll have to change my doc guys.

Get a new doc bro. And to thunk this clown went to medical school. Stupid docs don’t know they’re stupid and smart docs know that they don’t know (everything).

You can pin quads IF you do it correct. There will be some assistance with all pin sites coming soon.

Not surprised about the doctor mate. Would be the same with 95% of doctors in Aus.

That area you strained. Is it the lower part of the bicep? Might be the bicep tendon. Hopefully it's nothing major. Good call not doing the deadlifts as that would have put a lot of stress on it.

Unsure what it is, but yes its lower bicep and moving into my forearm. I used to get it when I overdid rock-climbing in my teen years before my tendons got used to it. I think its because i haven't let my body get used to the weights after having so much time off. I'll have to just buy more deepheat and take it easy when I feel it coming on.
 
My arms are weak as. Don't expect any miracles even without injury lol
But you know what brother, you're IN the GYM! That's what really matters. Good on ya bro!

Absolutely bro. Push yourself hard in the gym especially those last few mins if you do cardio at the end... then the whole point is it makes us be a better person when we walk OUT of the gym. Very happy to hear this!
 
Those are the SSB squats after my main set which went up to 155 for a set of 3. Also had 1x5 @150 and 2x5@140

Update:
1. I got my shitty limited bloods back from the GP ( I had to call them to get them emailed to me even though I asked)
2. I got my test e tested at an anonymous testing thing here in Christchurch, NZ.

1. Blood test results look better in the case of test amounts being almost 4 times higher than my last blood test (pics attached) and the rest of the results will have to be interpreted by someone else on this forum who knows what they're looking at.

2. I grabbed my vial of test and went into town today for an unrelated matter. The last took one out and put it on this thing which tells you what's going on. There were no numbers she gave me but she said that she can see there is definitely testosterone enanthate in the vial.
BUT
She said that is unlikely that it is the 250mg/ml that's advertised on the bottle. She said that if it was over 250 she would get a very strong reading, and if it was under 100 she wouldn't get a reading at all. She guessed (key word here is guessed) that the actual test amount is between 100 and 200 based off the strength of the reading. Not the most shining star in the sky tonight, but at least there is test in the vial. So maybe I will have an ask around for test from a tested source for the advertised 250 or more mg/ml in the future. if any of you have suggestions them I'm all ears.

1. I got my shitty limited bloods back from the GP ( I had to call them to get them emailed to me even though I asked)
2. I got my test e tested at an anonymous testing thing here in Christchurch, NZ.

1. Blood test results look better in the case of test amounts being almost 4 times higher than my last blood test (pics attached) and the rest of the results will have to be interpreted by someone else on this forum who knows what they're looking at.

2. I grabbed my vial of test and went into town today for an unrelated matter. The last took one out and put it on this thing which tells you what's going on. There were no numbers she gave me but she said that she can see there is definitely testosterone enanthate in the vial.
BUT
She said that is unlikely that it is the 250mg/ml that's advertised on the bottle. She said that if it was over 250 she would get a very strong reading, and if it was under 100 she wouldn't get a reading at all. She guessed (key word here is guessed) that the actual test amount is between 100 and 200 based off the strength of the reading. Not the most shining star in the sky tonight, but at least there is test in the vial. So maybe I will have an ask around for test from a tested source for the advertised 250 or more mg/ml in the future. if any of you have suggestions them I'm all ears.

The estrogen was what this retard GP refused to test. I will have to find a friendlier GP and have asked some friends where to find one. Hopefully they can order blood tests from over the phone. As I doubt there are any near me. I don't want to have to pay a heap just for estrogen tests but I'm going to call up a lab when they're open after the holiday season.

The test was from life forge. Van life suggested him to me as he is in NZ. I don't want to throw any names under the bus which is why I said the lady guessed because there were no numbers she showed me on the laptop, just an indicator kind of thing.

Do any of the bloods like fsh and lh which are lower than recommended mean anything?
lh and fsh are your gonadotropins, basically means your fertility is lowered or not existant, when you inject test your body will stop making its own, which shows as lowered fsh and lh. Nothing to worry about from a health perspective and unavoidable while on test and steroids.

Haha, not 100% reliable, some dudes still maintain fertility, but majority dont. At your own risk 😂

It's not throwing anyone or any brand under the bus it's just evidence of how to determine their gear quality and this is good evidence. This is why testing and COA's aren't as important as most people want to think.
