Today's gym session had me feeling like a beast!

  • Weight - 92.8kg (🔼0.3g)
  • BP 130/70 | RHR 70 (forgot to take telm and nebivolol last night)
  • Blood Glucose - 4.5 nmol/L

CONCERN
A bit of a concern regarding forearm strains in both my arms. I will have to start doing more stretches and light massage, as well as utilising my lifting straps on pull days. The diagram below shows the areas where I am having pain, so if anyone has additional suggestions, it would be much appreciated. NOTE: Have also added KLOW at 1mg (daily)

Had a great night's sleep and ample energy for my pull session this morning! Absolutely killed it and found myself increasing my lifts across my exercises and training at max intensity. I also finished off the day with a 10min HIIT session on my assault bike!

WEEK 6 - THURSDAY UPDATE [26.03.26]

An early update for the day and a bit of a recap of yesterday's shenanigans!
Yesterday's routine consisted of a nice little hike up a mountain with @RogueCherry, which I found myself almost crying from the calf and leg cramps on our 1hr hike. @RogueCherry smashed it and had no sympathy for the pain I was in (which was ongoing leg fatigue and DOMS from a beep test I ran on Sunday just gone). Then the afternoon slump got me, and I felt a bit unmotivated to do an afternoon X-Fit session... but then I remembered, I'm not a pussy... So I slammed some pre-workout and got to it!

TODAY'S UPDATE
From the picture above... You probably guessed that today was my leg day, which is normally a split leg session of two workouts throughout the week. However, since last week's diabolical leg session, I have rolled my leg day into one workout! Reason being... I have honestly needed a full week to recover from my last leg session, and have made some serious progress with my leg development from my new leg routine.

My legs are noticeably denser and much stronger than before, which is attributed to the incorporation of my new V-Squat, as well as keeping the intensity high throughout my workout, and focusing on moving some serious weight on the V-Squat. I have been focusing on time under tension, with 2-second pauses incorporated across all my leg exercises now. Pretty proud of my routine, it was just an absolute grind of never-ending sets o_O!

For sure. I'm not at the stage of having to take time off for a week... by dropping my arm day, incorporating some lifting straps on pull day (as well as some weekly/daily rehab movements - I might get lucky.

my wife and I are very similar although very rare we get to train together anymore - usually tag team around kids 😂

A bit of a concern regarding forearm strains in both my arms. I will have to start doing more stretches and light massage, as well as utilising my lifting straps on pull days. The diagram below shows the areas where I am having pain, so if anyone has additional suggestions, it would be much appreciated. NOTE: Have also added KLOW at 1mg (daily)

TODAY'S WORKOUTS
Had a great night's sleep and ample energy for my pull session this morning! Absolutely killed it and found myself increasing my lifts across my exercises and training at max intensity. I also finished off the day with a 10min HIIT session on my assault bike!

WEEK 7 - MONDAY [30.03.26]

Review of last week:
I am well and truly settled in with my training/nutrition program, and will be finishing off strong over the final 2-3 weeks of this current log.
HIGHLIGHTS: Smashed my training and nutrition goals and had a well-deserved rest day on Sunday. Strength is continuously improving, and recovery/sleep has never been better (all my stars have aligned - finally hahah).

STATS (23-29/03)

Sleep has been incredible for me and I have been catching some solid ZZZzzzzz's :sleep:.

My resting heart rate has come down significantly since reducing my reta to 1mg once per week and incorporating nebivolol at night. This has been a bit of a focus of ours (Coach and I), and it is finally looking great!

Couldn’t agree more about having a supportive partner! It makes all the difference - especially when everyone is all on the same page with their training and nutrition!

Not sure how old your kids are… but our kdis are old enough to take interest in what we do and are seeing us role model health and fitness - which has really changed their outlook on food and training! Here’s to being healthy role models to our kids!!!

WEEK 7 - TUESDAY [31.03.26]

Evening Evo Fam!
Well, today was filled with some urgent matters needing to be pushed off my plate, but not without starting the day off strong with a pull session 💪🏋️‍♂️.
Spent the rest of the day focusing on some life admin tasks and quiet reflection on my log nearing its end. Although the initial focus of this log was to continue the cut from my first log, it quickly did a 180 and ended up being a bit of a recomp and reverse diet progression.
Irrespective of the change in plans, I have been extremely well supported by those around me. I paused to think about whether I had done enough during this log, whether I could have done more... then found myself down a rabbit hole with all the whattaboutisms etc.
I snapped myself back to reality and had to remind myself of exactly how far I have come, how much I have achieved. I have 100% committed to my fitness journey, I leave nothing in the tank during my training sessions, and stick to my meal plan wholeheartedly... completely locked in 💯!

Not long ago, I decided to kick the unhealthy habits and focus on rebuilding a healthy lifestyle for not only myself, but for my family. I chose to look after myself, so that I could be a healthier version of myself for my children and my wife @RogueCherry. I faced adversity head-on with my first broken bone after a month of kicking into my health phase. I didn't slow down. I was not negative about it. I chose to remain in the moment and move towards achieving my goals.

This is a reminder for anyone who loses sight of their goals, or lets negative thoughts—or the opinions of people who don’t understand their situation—creep in: stay grounded, stay focused, and remain committed to what you’re working toward.

On with the roadshow...

TRAINING - PULL DAY
Felt amazing during this session. Numerous weight increases across exercises and forearms were assisted with lifting straps throughout my routine, which made a massive difference. I still had a bit of pain/discomfort during my bicep curls, so I had to keep the weights light and focus on moving through the sets with minimal aggravation.

Hi Evo Fam!!

Hope everyone had a great Easter break and didn't fall off the bandwagon too much... or if you did, I HOPE YOU ENJOYED IT!! :ROFLMAO:
Have been a bit MIA lately, school holidays and the Easter long weekend. But back at it today with the first session of the week (PUSH DAY). I had to run around and do my bloods this morning (what a fuck around that was)... waited at one pathology for 45mins, only to be told that they are having internet issues and it was best to visit their neighbouring lab in another suburb. Anywhooo.... bloods were drawn today (three days after my last injection on Friday last week - so I am well into the trough). Should be interesting to see how everything is looking since upping my dosage of test to 750mg and mast at 400mg. Results will be reviewed tomorrow and uploaded to my log to highlight how everything is looking since being on @PharmabolicsOz's test cyp (alpha pharma) and @CladHQ's HgH (did an IGF and GH test).

UPCOMING CHANGES
  1. Wrapping up this log by EOW and moving into a bulk phase (as I am well into a reverse diet and this log kinda went a 180 within the first few weeks due to feedback from my coach.
  2. PEDS - changes pending lab results.
  3. Training program change (to focus on development of legs, upper chest, lower lats).

Had another killer leg day and abused my V-Squat machine, reaching for some PBs which I'm pretty chuffed about.

Macros have been updated since last week and I struggled for a few days in trying to get into my groove of consuming more carbs etc. My stomach has had to get use to these gradual increase of calories over the past few weeks... as things were a little 'loose' in the toilet for a week or so.... until my body digestion settled down.

The increase of calories came into effect over the weekend... so today was really the first training session I've been able to have since taking three days off, on account of my blood test today, and I enjoyed the extra energy for my workout! Definitely increased my weights once again across my exercises - felt a little FLAT (might be due to a dip in my hormones), but still was able to push through as always.

Hope everyone had a great Easter break and didn't fall off the bandwagon too much... or if you did, I HOPE YOU ENJOYED IT!! :ROFLMAO:
Have been a bit MIA lately, school holidays and the Easter long weekend. But back at it today with the first session of the week (PUSH DAY). I had to run around and do my bloods this morning (what a fuck around that was)... waited at one pathology for 45mins, only to be told that they are having internet issues and it was best to visit their neighbouring lab in another suburb. Anywhooo.... bloods were drawn today (three days after my last injection on Friday last week - so I am well into the trough). Should be interesting to see how everything is looking since upping my dosage of test to 750mg and mast at 400mg. Results will be reviewed tomorrow and uploaded to my log to highlight how everything is looking since being on @PharmabolicsOz's test cyp (alpha pharma) and @CladHQ's HgH (did an IGF and GH test).

UPCOMING CHANGES
  1. Wrapping up this log by EOW and moving into a bulk phase (as I am well into a reverse diet and this log kinda went a 180 within the first few weeks due to feedback from my coach.
  2. PEDS - changes pending lab results.
  3. Training program change (to focus on development of legs, upper chest, lower lats).

Had another killer leg day and abused my V-Squat machine, reaching for some PBs which I'm pretty chuffed about.

MACROS (UPDATED)

Macros have been updated since last week and I struggled for a few days in trying to get into my groove of consuming more carbs etc. My stomach has had to get use to these gradual increase of calories over the past few weeks... as things were a little 'loose' in the toilet for a week or so.... until my body digestion settled down.

WORKOUT (AM)

The increase of calories came into effect over the weekend... so today was really the first training session I've been able to have since taking three days off, on account of my blood test today, and I enjoyed the extra energy for my workout! Definitely increased my weights once again across my exercises - felt a little FLAT (might be due to a dip in my hormones), but still was able to push through as always.

Re blood test… I normally have 1-2 days off (just my rest days coincide with the weekend… but given it was a public holiday, I forgot that the labs were closed as well 🤣 so I ended up having a three day rest (mind you, it was really difficult not to train for that long hahaha).

Hi Evo Fam!
A bit of a last update to close off this log. I have decided to pull this early as my 'cutting log' quickly did a 180 and turned into a recomp phase. Additionally, both @Norvex & @PharmabolicsOz are not on Evo anymore, and I would be doing both vendors a disservice if I continued logging for them on a platform that they no longer operate on. I will be starting up a log on EF, which will be an ongoing training log under my new sponsor.

With that being said... A quick look back on how far I have come...

  • 90-91kg @12.3% BF
  • Height - 182cm
Final Stats - WEEK 9
  • 93.95kg (Fasted) @BF??? (Still feel relatively lean - dexa scan being organised before next log)

For sure! Primo does a good job for me at bringing e2 back into check real quick. Partway through this log I learned that I can’t run test and primo at 1:1 or I’ll crash my e2…. So 2:1 this time around should do the trick!

Hi Evo Fam!!

Hope everyone had a great Easter break and didn't fall off the bandwagon too much... or if you did, I HOPE YOU ENJOYED IT!! :ROFLMAO:
Have been a bit MIA lately, school holidays and the Easter long weekend. But back at it today with the first session of the week (PUSH DAY). I had to run around and do my bloods this morning (what a fuck around that was)... waited at one pathology for 45mins, only to be told that they are having internet issues and it was best to visit their neighbouring lab in another suburb. Anywhooo.... bloods were drawn today (three days after my last injection on Friday last week - so I am well into the trough). Should be interesting to see how everything is looking since upping my dosage of test to 750mg and mast at 400mg. Results will be reviewed tomorrow and uploaded to my log to highlight how everything is looking since being on @PharmabolicsOz's test cyp (alpha pharma) and @CladHQ's HgH (did an IGF and GH test).

UPCOMING CHANGES
  1. Wrapping up this log by EOW and moving into a bulk phase (as I am well into a reverse diet and this log kinda went a 180 within the first few weeks due to feedback from my coach.
  2. PEDS - changes pending lab results.
  3. Training program change (to focus on development of legs, upper chest, lower lats).

HIGHLIGHTS (LAST WEEK)
Had another killer leg day and abused my V-Squat machine, reaching for some PBs which I'm pretty chuffed about.

MACROS (UPDATED)

Macros have been updated since last week and I struggled for a few days in trying to get into my groove of consuming more carbs etc. My stomach has had to get use to these gradual increase of calories over the past few weeks... as things were a little 'loose' in the toilet for a week or so.... until my body digestion settled down.

WORKOUT (AM)

The increase of calories came into effect over the weekend... so today was really the first training session I've been able to have since taking three days off, on account of my blood test today, and I enjoyed the extra energy for my workout! Definitely increased my weights once again across my exercises - felt a little FLAT (might be due to a dip in my hormones), but still was able to push through as always.

My workout this afternoon will be a quick 20min EMOM, consisting of 5x burpees & 5x chin ups, 10x push ups, 25 air squats.
