Consuming 2800 calories per day
280g protein (primarily eggs, chicken, beef, and fish)

Monday is chest and tri day.
Tuesday is 5 miles on elliptical.
Wednesday is leg day! (FML)
Thursday is 5 miles on elliptical.
Friday is back and biceps.
Saturday is 5 miles on the elliptical.
Sunday is the day of rest, or as my wife would call it, the day of mowing the grass. lol

Current measurements are:
Chest 56”
Waist 40”
Biceps 16.5”
Quads 25”
Calves 20”

Yes that burger has 4 pounds of beef and I did eat the whole thing in 17 minutes. I have the shirt to prove it. And also yes that mug of root beer is 64 ounces. (I drank 3)

I’ll be starting test c and var cycle next month.
12 weeks of 200mg test c
Weeks 3-9 with 20mg var (10mg twice a day)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

have you done bloods before? this is a must before a cycle

Please share more day to day information with us.

Diet, please share foods and meals and when you eat them, macros would be good
Training, please share actual exercises reps sets and weights, as you go especially get stronger
cardio how much do you do? when etc

I have a notebook for the food and workout. I’ll post a spread sheet of progress and plan once I get going on my cycle.
I have my baseline labs total test is at 600 lower than I’d like it to be but with the amount of fat that I still have and my age, I’m not surprised.
Estradiol is at 16.
Liver is good. (Was high due to diet over a year ago.)
SHBG is still high at 58 but then again, fat and age play a part in that.
A1C is good. 4.1
Hemoglobin has always been high at 18. I have a schedule to have labs run every 3 weeks until 3 weeks post cycle. (My DR is genuinely interested in what will come of this experience but told me that she has to advise me professionally against this, but will monitor things with me.)

That is awesome man. I'm glad you're taking this very seriously. @WillyC and it's good that your doctor actually cares about you. That's a good doctor right there.

@WillyC I think one of the things that you figured out is that this is a lifestyle. In this lifestyle we have to take this very seriously. That's why I respect anyone who has gotten their weight loss journey as you have.

Are there any tweaks that I should consider with this being my first cycle? I’m looking to turn back the clock on my strength and physique to my 20s. I have no show aspersions in my goals.
start by tracking food and training and supps and posting it here daily :D then we can tweak @WillyC
 
I’m married with 6 kids a weekly update is about the best I can do. Between working out, family, and work, I’m stretched for time. I’ll post my weekly log starting this Friday.

Diet update.
Breakfast (after gym)
1- protein shake with whole milk 16 ounces (66g protein)/ 3 eggs (21g protein)and one slice toast with butter. This is a constant daily. I’ve been eating this for over a year now. With a rare dining out while traveling for work or on vacation.

Lunch
3 chicken breasts or thighs, rice and broccoli.

Snacks
protein bar or meal snacks.

Dinner
Is whatever my wife makes. Usually beef pork or fish. She’s a big salad eater but I pass. I stick to squash zucchini and peppers as sides.

Workout sets and reps. All sets are to failure and the weight is not logged, as I do as heavy as I can on that particular day. (I’m not chasing a number in particular, just trying to get back to a shadow of what I was 20 years ago.)

Monday
Chest day/ or as we all know it to be “the most glorious day of the week!”
Bench 4 sets to failure
Incline bench 4 sets to failure
Dumbbell press 4 sets to failure
Tri cable pulls 4 sets to failure
Chest flys 4 sets
Skull crushers 4 sets (trying not to die)
Overhead press 4 sets
And lastly 4 sets of preacher curls(because it’s biceps and they can take twice as long week)

Wednesday
Leg day or as I know it to be the “crawl back to my truck day.”
Calf raises 4 sets.
Smith squats 4 sets
Leg curls 4 sets
Leg extensions 4 sets
Calf raises 4 more sets because fuck those things, that why.
Glut/ ham raises
Hack squat 4 sets
Calf raises again if I still feel like I can walk.

Friday
Back, biceps, shoulders
Low rows 4 sets
Lat pulls 4 sets
Preacher curls 4 sets
Overhead press 4 sets
High rows 4 sets
Rear Delt flys on machine 4 sets
Incline curls 4 sets
Cable delt flys 4 sets (lateral and anterior)
Bent over rows 4 sets
Concentration curls 4 sets.

I will be starting a new routine on the 1st of June. (See pictures below) I have high hope of this knocking my dick into the dirt.

I took the VAR 20mg this morning. Holy crap stacks!
I was repping weights 45-90 pounds heavier and smashing it! I’ve never felt like this before at the gym. No elevated heart rate. No jitters like a pre workout. Just freaking strong!

No. Just regular oral. I still feel a pump in my chest and it’s been almost 4 hours since I left the gym.

Week one update.
I’ve put on 4 pounds.
Biceps increased by 3/4” in circumference.
Quads increased by 1/2”
Waist dropped by 1-1/2”
Calves unchanged.
Chest unchanged.
Legs and arms are more vascular.
Face noticeably thinner.
Test cyp 125mg every three days.
Var 20mg morning of training days.(Monday-Friday)
Still cardio on Saturday and Sunday.
Considering taking the bicycle to and from gym in the mornings. (6 miles each way)
I want to see if I can recomp instead of bulk.
Was approached by a bro at the gym and he mentions that a microdose of Tren would help in that regard but I’m skeptical as I’ve heard some nightmarish tales of sides. He suggest 30-50mg of ace per week and that I would see results without the sides.
