6 Week Contest and SARMS1 GW 501516 Log - Girly Style

Thanks! I thought my GW had cleared customs but I checked today and it says it's still there. After reading your log, I'm really excited to try it!! Hopefully, it'll get here next week so I can have a good 3 - 3.5 weeks with it before the contest ends.

Customs is a bitch, hopefully it will get to you soon :) I'm waiting on an important pack that was shipped 3wks ago. Registered air mail blows lol.

Cali, if you don't get it by next Friday, I'll front you a bottle, and you can just hook me up when yours gets in.

Wow! Very, very generous offer!! Thank you! I will keep you posted. It now says it's cleared an enroute so here's hoping it's here by Friday.

Day 13 - Saturday...almost 2 weeks in!

Here's the layout for this morning's class...

Block 1 - Rowing

200m
25 squat jumps with a medicine ball

400 m
25 jumping jacks with ball

600 m
25 squats

800 m
25 jacks

1000 m
25 squats

I finished about 3/4 of the way through the 1000 m row in the time. Not loving the rowing!

Treadmill:

Intervals for 18 mins
Walk 1 min
Jog 90 seconds
All out 60 seconds and so on....

The floor part was brutal! It was 8 stations and you did each station for 1 min, then 30 secs push ups, 30 seconds some kind of ab work (she had planks, sit ups, bicycle crunches etc...So each station was about 2 mins total. They were:

TRX mid rows
bench jumps - side to side
burpees with a bosu ball
box jumps
kettle bell swing
stationary mountain climbers
TRX squat jump
high knee jumps over a short bench (kinda like running tires but stationary)

There was a man who appeared to be in his mid to late 60's next to me and he kicked my butt. I was so inspired! My cardio is improving but wow, my core is weak. By the end, holding a plank for 30 second felt like torture.

My body is fatigued but not nearly as sore as I was a week ago! It really feels good to push myself and see what I can achieve. It's been a long time. :)

to good see the harder workouts arent killing you.

I also got mine pretty quick.. they are tough at the border, no doubt

The GW is kinda... course? Its got a whole bunch of white bits floating around (thats the actual gw.) sometimes it clogs my dropper and I have to squirt it out and try again.

It's definitely thick but that's what it should look like when the concentration is really 20mg/ml and not underdosed crap lol

Shake the hell out of it before each use

Awesome!! Thanks everyone. It sounds like it is just the way it should be. I'm pumped!! :)

Ya - shake it good. My first bottle was really thick. Second bottle is a little thinner. Enjoy the taste LOL!!!!! Blech...

Ok...so my two week summary...

My weight didn't move last week. It went down about .6 lbs and then up .6 lbs. I felt a moment of panic but....I worked my butt off and stayed true to my diet so I'm not going to panic. Plus, my clothes are fitting differently already.

My GW arrived yesterday. So from order to delivery, in Canada, was 11 days. Amazing!! I took the first dose last night. Slept like a baby and woke up feeling like I'm ready to take on the world! I've felt like death the last few days and feel renewed. I'll have a good 4 weeks with the GW before the contest closes and then will continue on.

Second dose this morning of 10 mgs. I chased it with a teaspoon of sugar free Irish Cream flavoring I use in my oatmeal. Piece of cake!

So....dumb question but a full dropper in the bottle is 20 mgs? Just want to make sure I'm measuring right.

Thanks!!

It is probably just as easy to drop by your local pharmacy and ask the pharmacist for a 1ml oral syringe. There's no needle in it - just tell him it's for your cat lol.

Take 0.5ml in the am, and 0.5ml at night!

^^This. I just went to Walgreen's and got mine for free...and you can do the split doses but you can also take the total 20 mg in one dose pre-workout if that works better. I've been doing that with both my S-4 and GW and it seems to work well for me. You can dose it however you like though, Cali, this is just what works best for me personally. I know RickRock likes to just take the full dose at one time too since it doesn't matter once the compound(s) reach peak blood saturation. Keep up the good work! The GW will put your endurance and fat-burning capabilities into TURBO MODE. I'm not surprised that WADA banned this haha.

Hmmmmm...I might try the one dose pre workout....thanks!

Thanks! I think I'll take aztec's advice and go buy a syringe and then try the full dose at once tomorrow. I'm doing to take the last 10 tonight before my class and see what happens. I've had no adverse reactions at all to the 10 this morning. I feel pretty good.

Will keep ya posted! :)

Keep up the good work Cali. I love GW, took my 4th day in a row today. I received mine in 2 days. We have 4 months until summer, all of the fake lifters that came in and were then exeunt in January will be wearing one pieces.

Tuesday, Feb. 4th - Day 16

I'm a little behind on posting...been a crazy couple of days.

I took two doses of GW today. One in the morning and one about 45 mins before my workout. I may switch to once a day but split it just to see how I felt.

I had a great workout!! I could not believe that in ONE day, I could see some improvements but I did! And with these classes, the numbers are there to show it. I had more endurance and worked that much harder. For example, the goal of these is to get between 12 and 20 minutes in the "orange zone", which is approx. 85% of my max heart rate. Sunday's workout, which was pathetic, I had about 2 mins in the zone. This workout I got up to 13 mins.

Started with 3 mins of rowing.
Then a set of exercises with a 3, 6, 9, 12, 15 reps
DB reverse lunges off a bench, then standing into a bicep curl
DB flies
Reverse flies
pushups
Then every set ended with 20 scissor kick abs.

Then a 6 min rowing block.
30 sec slow
1 min all out - My all out rowing improved here from about 28 strokes per min up to 34. I know I had a stupid grin on my face because I couldn't believe it. :)

15 Kettlebell swings
15 KB sit ups
15 side planks/ side

Followed by 26 mins on the treadmill. The first half of the treadmill was a lot of hills and that was HARD! Second half I was able to run more. I am not quite to the running up a 10% incline yet but making progress.

Day 17 Wed- today was a rest day. My schedule is a bit crazy this week and it was -28 this morning (yes, celcius) and I didn't make the gym.

GW - split dose am/ pm

No adverse reactions. I don't even mind the taste. :)

Wow, impressive! What's the total weight loss now?

I weighed myself this morning and am stuck at 13 lbs down. I've been there about a week. This is not unusual for me. Usually have a big drop the first week and then slow for a bit and then it's like my body adjusts and it moves again. I haven't cheated and I don't really want to lower calories yet, so I think I'm going to hold the course for now. I hit about 40 and the weight loss game changed for me and it's progressively becoming more difficult. We will see what the next week brings.

Day 18 - Thursday

Class summary

1st half - 3 blocks (mostly weights tonight)

Rowing 200 m
Flat bench DB chest press - 15
Tricep extensions - 15
Flutter kicks off the end of bench - 20
Repeat x3

Rowing 150m
Kettlebell "goblet" squat - 15
Kettlebell swing - 15
KB sit ups - 15
Repeat x3

Rowing 150m
Seated DB curls/ shoulder press - 12
DB rows from a plank position (these sucked!) - 12
Side to side bench jumps - 20
Repeat x3

26 mins Treadmill. Only one real "hill" tonight and the rest was speed intervals.

So here's the crazy thing with GW. I'm absolutely AMAZED not only how quickly it works but the changes I'm seeing in my workout. I worked as hard I usually do tonight and set my treadmill speeds for what I know my limits to be. Tonight, though, my heart rate took a whole lot longer to go up!! I had to push that much harder to get that orange zone. It was actually the muscle fatigue that limited me, tonight, vs my cardio endurance (if that makes sense). If I didn't have the numbers on the treadmill or the heart rate monitor on, I'd think I had half assed it and yet, because I know what I've been doing, down to the fine detail.....I KNOW I did the same work and could really recognize the difference with the GW! It's really quite amazing!!

That's awesome, cali. Glad to see that you're experiencing the amazing effects of the GW already...keep killing it! Your workouts are both full body and functional your V02 max is gonna go through da roof.

This is my motto this morning!

Heading into a tornado class.

Queue the Rocky music....

The scale finally moved too!! About 1.2 lbs. woo hoo!

Bring it on tornado!

Nice motto! Haha you and aztec are doing so awesome it's glad to see some females doing sarms logs it just proves how effective sarms can be especially with the right diet and hard work!

I definitely wouldn't waste money on them if I didn't truly believe they work. My results between cycles have been awesome

How long till contest day Cali?

So today is the big day where in a couple hours I'll be surprising my son and flying out to the west coast to go snowboarding for a couple days. I'm packing gym clothes as the hotel has a gym and a few staples, like my almonds and steel cut oats. I booked a suite so we could have a kitchen (my son eats pretty clean too). I do want to eat out a couple of times since it's such a cool place but going to keep it clean. I've had diet dreams the last two nights so I must be a little worried about it. Who dreams about McDonald's fries?!? lol

I will keep you posted!

Also, survived tornado yesterday and kicked butt! I had a new instructor who is your stereotypical fitness cougar, so I was immediately annoyed. She's the mid 40s, blonde ponytail, lululemon everything, pants short enough to see her ankle tattoo and a tan so dark, she reminded me of a saddlebag. Spent the hour flirting with the men in the group! Her music was all old 80s music set to dance music. I'm a kid of the 80s but was pretty sure I was going to wrap the trx straps around my neck and end it, at one point!! LOL

I tried to focus more on what I was doing and tuned the rest out. It went pretty fast!

Dont know how you make it through those tornado classes, they sound brutal! Big props to you pretty lady!

How long till contest day Cali?

Monday is the 3 week mark and then 3 more to go. Mid point weigh ins are on Wednesday.

I've already started thinking about what my next goal will be. I'd love to get back on stage but may need to break it down into these smaller timeframes.

But I am sore today and....have booked myself an afternoon at a spa when the boy is boarding. Massage and a bunch of hot and cold pools. It's gonna be awesome!

I also want a message... im super sore today

Keep up the good work Cali. You can tell you've been in this mind-frame before because you have an insatiable appetite for success it seems, either that or you're very good at portraying that in your writing (I'm betting dollaz on the former). Thank you so much for sharing your www.sarms1.com experiences with this community because you're giving me something to add to my arsenal of training tools with personal cllientele. Additionally, you're obviously providing motivation for other girls who have a passion for molding their perfect personal structure. I'm hoping you're going to post some pics when all is said and done. I especially condone how you are rewarding yourself with a massage as opposed to eating something that would be essentially breaking a promise to yourself.

Cheers

p.s. we all know you deserve this massage

Thank you so much for this! It touched me. It's been so long since I've been able to stay consistent for any longer than a few days and finally...I found what I need to do it. You know how you said in your log you're on a ride from Cali to London? Me too...only I'm in a small Sesna plane lol ;)

Gotta start somewhere right?!?

We can do this!

So greetings tonight from whistler, bc which is where the 2010 Winter Olympics were held. I have made it through the day without too much damage. We went for supper at a place called the mongolie grill and you put whatever you want in a bowl and they cook it in front of you. I was able to pick all the veggies I'd usually eat and the only extra was I ate some brown rice. It's interesting though because I feel really hungry tonight. Thank God I brought almonds.

I'm attaching a couple pics for you guys! You've all been so supportive of me and I thought I'd share this little adventure with you. :)

The view from my treadmill this morning!!

It was full of creepy looking men in speedos so I didn't go in! lol

http://www.scandinave.com/en/whistler/photos/

This is where I'm going today.

My biggest temptation is to cheat at breakfast. Nothing like a greasy diner and mmmmm bacon and eggs! But...I made it through. Made my oatmeal and ordered a side of 2 scrambled eggs. It was hard looking at my son's pancakes and whipped cream and maple syrup. I did my 30 mins intervals on the treadmill. GW...I'm telling ya...I was working harder than I used to and sweating and felt like a breeze. Even after being beat up by a rock hard hotel room bed last night. LOL

I'm going to do a bit of grocery stuff later so we can eat in tonight. It's snowing like a snow globe here so heli skiing was cancelled. I felt bad for my son but he's still boarding on a world class mountain so...what can ya do. NOT feel guilty..that's what you can do. Like I can control the weather. Somebody smack me!

You guys are all great. You keep me going and thanks for all the support! I have come to really love this site in a very short period of time.

Oh...and I weighed myself yesterday before I left. Using it as my 3 week mark. I'm down 15.4 lbs. My goal for the 6 weeks was 20 lbs and I thought that was pretty lofty all things considered but it seems like more of a reality. And even more reason not to screw up in the next 48 hours before I get home. :)

Yes we can!!!! I can't believe you're in Whistler... so jealous. 110 days until June :)

Hey guys! I'm a bit behind in posting. I got home late Tuesday night and was back in the gym doing a class Wednesday morning. I'm going again tonight at 8:15. I did my mid point weigh in and was up just over 2 lbs from my trip. I did not overeat at all but did eat a subway and then an airport sandwich that night, when my flight was delayed. I'm sure it's just from the extra carbs, processed meat. I was down 1.4 this morning after a decent day yesterday of eating. I have just over 2 weeks left in the contest so want to finish off strong.

I got my son to do a little recon with all the mid point weigh ins and there's only one other woman who would be in the ballpark. She is probably slightly ahead of me in terms of bf %age so motivation to kick it up a notch. Apparently there's been quite a few people who have been disqualified because they haven't attended the required 3 classes/ week. Good news for me!

The GW is amazing. I've switched to taking the full dose about 45 mins before workouts and I cannot get my heart rate into the "orange" zone. LOL I'm busting my ass and it doesn't move much. I'm truly amazed with it. So on the gym's board it doesn't look like I'm doing much but I know I'm killing it. Now I'm just going by the fatigue in my body and the speeds on the treadmill.

I really want to hit the 20 lbs mark by Feb 28th. That's about 6 more lbs. Time to dig a little deeper. :)

That's awesome! So you definitely have a chance at this. Remember us little guys when you're on top of the world and winning that $10000 lol

Who knows but I'm not giving up! Might as well finish strong! I want to win in the specific gym I'm in. We started with 46 people and I want the bragging rights. lol

Could you imagine $10,000 though?? That's gonna bring me through the next two weeks!

Keep your eyes on that very goal, as well as your goal of being super fit. Nothing can stop you from winning this

Definitely!! I'm amazed at how much my overall conditioning has improved in just 3.5 weeks. By summer time, I'll be rocking the hard body again!

Here's a little food porn from a market I went to in Vancouver! It was all I could do.... Lol

lol food porn got cracking up.

LOL It's sad when you stand there just staring at the displays. Pretty sure there woulda been drool if my son hadn't told me to keep walking.

Thursday - Feb 13th

I hit up a class last night.

There were 4 blocks of rowing/ exercises.

Block 1 - repeat 3-4 times
TRX squats into a back row (12)
Push ups into a t (raising one arm up) 12
something else I can't remember lol

Block 2 - 3 times
db shoulder press - 12
chest flies - 12
db one arm row off a bench in the plank position - 12
back extensions - lying face down doing a reverse crunch - 12

Rowing - 600 m

Block 4 - 3 times
Bosu ball sits up - 12
Bosu ball side crunches - 12/ side
Plank position with feet on bosu ball/ stepping down and then back up

26 mins treadmill. There were a lot of hills and then the last 4 mins was 30 secs all out/ 30 secs walking.

My core is sooo weak! I almost get angry with planks. I struggle to hold them for any respectable length of time. Slowly but surely that will improve.

Diet on point!

I've had a big drop on the scale... Took yesterday as rest and ate just under 2000 cals. Woke up with a 2 lb drop. I'm 16.8 lbs down with 2 weeks to go! If I could break 20 it'd be so great.

I'm off to Saturday morning tornado!

Gw is amazing! Has really upped my game! Have a great morning guys! :)

Gteat work Caligirl.. looks like everything is going great and your obviously working your ass off

very nice training regiment!

I hit up the Tornado class on Saturday and it was probably my best workout yet. It was really high intensity and I had almost 21 mins in the orange zone, which now means my heart rate has to be at about 162, so I was working! :)

The treadmill part was mostly speed intervals (no hills), rowing was the usual and then the floor had 9 stations with 2 exercises per station. You'd do one exercise, then 5 burpees, the next exercise, then 5 push ups and then move on to the next. Each exercise was about 50 seconds.

Sunday, I did a regular class and it was probably the worst one I've had. I think it was too much and I probably should have taken yesterday as the day off and gone today. I felt like I was working hard, was sweaty but didn't get my heart rate up like Saturday. I'm having to work harder to get it up, which is great, but the body sometimes doesn't have the energy. That's ok...I still made it through and actually got 4 classes in last week instead of 3. And that's with being gone 3 days last week.

Today is Monday and it's a holiday here where I live. I woke up feeling like death. Everything is just off for me today. It's likely hormonal based and I'll spare you all the details but getting old sucks sometimes so I gave myself permission to go back to bed and only do what I feel like doing, which so far has been a whole lot of jack squat. It's one of those days where I can't even push myself because I think I'll have a melt down. I don't get like this very often and this is probably the first time in months I've had one of these days. So....I have rested WELL! lol

All that being said, the scale is still moving. I'm at 17.8 lbs down.

Last night was the worst temptation moment for me that I've had so far in terms of cheating. God, I wanted to eat sugar sooo bad. I settled for some almond butter on celery sticks instead and made it through the night. :)

Last night was the worst temptation moment for me that I've had so far in terms of cheating. God, I wanted to eat sugar sooo bad. I settled for some almond butter on celery sticks instead and made it through the night. :)

That's what seperate the winners from the losers..willpower!! Good job

So....I have rested WELL! lol

EXCELLENT work so far... that is a very nice change in weight... you are well on your way... You have a great start and now its time to even step it up another notch... The more you achieve, the more you should want... Remember, the MIND can be your worst enemy or the key to your success... Make it the latter and you will just continue to make more and more progress... Im proud of your work... keep it up...

lol...Good to see you here Chopz! I am just starting to be able to see the changes. I've also had a few people commenting and that always feels good. It's amazing stuff. Can't wait till you get yours. :)

Thanks so much Dylan! I appreciate the words of encouragement. It's definitely time to kick it up and finish this 6 weeks with a bang. :)
