Looking to get a little more info before I take the plunge.

I worked out all of my Macro's

Height - 6'3

Weight - 235

Body Fat - 21%

Lifting Experience - on and off for 15 years

Total Calories - 2538

Total Fat - 183.3 / per day
Total Protein - 190.35 / per day
Total Carbs - 31.725 / per day

I've broken it down even further to what I need per meal. My question is how are green vegetables regarded? Are they a no-no for any other time other than the reefed? And also as far as the fats go, how do you incorporate them? Like cooking a steak with butter? or Mixing coconut oil with a protein shake?

I am still attempting my meal prep for this without screwing it up.

Thanks in advance.

I would incorporate the fats by really just getting a lot of good fats in from: fish oil, coconut oil, flax seed oil, natural peanut butter and any other healthy sources. Slathering a steak with butter, makes for two sources of fats that are just not that great for you. I would opt for just having the steak on the George Foreman Grill - NO Butter.

Even though you need a lot of fats on this diet, you should still try to keep them to good sources only.

I'm not versed very well in high fat, low carb diets as its something I do not follow at all. I pretty much do the opposite. However, I think your fats should mostly come from good sources like nut butter, olive oil, flaxseed, etc.

I believe green veggies are good to go to eat, because they are fibrous carbs

There's no reason to ever exclude green veggies. They have very few calories and are crucial for health for a lot of reasons.
For fats I eat a lot of real butter and healthy oils.

I've never tried something like this before so some of these questions will seem dumb. I do agree with you on the on the green veggies.
