Training while on....

Hey brothers! It's been a while since I last posted, got married, and got back from our honeymoon a couple of weeks ago. I have everything in order for my first cycle and PCT protocol and plan on starting my cycle this coming Monday; however my question is this...Should you train any differently while on? If yes, how so? Thanks in advance for your responses and I hope everyone is doing well!

You should be training the same regardless, AAS not we should be giving it 110% if we expect results. The only other part is to take a deload week post cycle, strength will go up as will strain on the body is all is going properly so good to rest afterwards.

With that said if you’re doing things properly you’ll feel more intense in the gym well on gear and of course the better we feel and look the more motivated we get to push harder. I also notice a big difference in recovery time, but again don’t go and blow a shoulder out or something.

I’m absolutely loving mk677 well cycling now, it’s helping so much with tendons and shit.

my belief is you should vary your workouts thoughout the year and deloading is very important

steroids are simply icing on the cake and if you have to ask this type of question then you haven't been working out long enough to figure all this out.

Steroids increase muscle protein synthesis so your recovery ability is slightly better but they don't turn you into good.

You can train slightly more frequently while on steroids but generally speaking, your training shouldnt change much whether on or off steroids

That's pretty much what I was thinking....Train the same. Thanks for your input.

yes, you should train just as hard on and you do when you are normally... you will have more capabilities when on cycle but your effort should always be the same, which is your best...

Thanks for your reply Dylan. That was my mindset.

One question is how do you know if the gains were the roids, the food or the training if everything has changed?

Great point.

Apologies for asking the silly question. I've trained long enough to know how to make gains natty, however I wanted to get feedback from others that have done a few cycles. My thinking was that as a natural, the purpose of going to the gym is to trigger an anabolic response. While on, you're already in an anabolic state (please correct me if I'm misguided in anyway), so your purpose in the gym is a bit different; it's to drive nutrients into your muscles.

In any case I will still continue to train the same way and focus on progressing on all the major lifts.

Ok, good looking out. Thank you.

I train equally hard off cycle as I do in cycle. My workout regiments can vary based on my goals. I make it a point to switch up my routine from time to time to keep my body guessing. I also tend to take a week off every 3 months or so.

.

when you weight train you break down your muscle and then it will regenerate with proper rest

steroids will do a lot of things to boost athletic performance and give you an androgenic effect where you can lift more weight, thus pushing your body further. it gives you an edge for sure

my advice is roll with it, if you been training a long time you will def enjoy running a steroid cycle and seeing the boost they give you. probably the first thing you will notice is weights seem lighter

Sounds good and thank you. Did my 2nd pin this AM with no issues.

Once you’re 4 weeks in you’ll really notice it.

Just be safe, as Steve said you will know the difference but this is how some guys get injuries.

The muscles will get stronger much faster then the tendons, it can be a recipe for an injury if you don’t ease into your new intensity.

I’m noticing now that running mk677 or HGH well on cycle seems to be the cats meow, helps the tendons and joints heal up.

I train the same whether on cycle or off cycle..... However I use the EXTRA focus and intensity in the gym that is brought on with seeing gains, and feeling raw horsepower inside your body for bringing up bad or lagging bodyparts....

I did this with my chest and shoulders when on cycle. I wanted to have giant traps and shoulders/chest and a fighters body... because that is my chosen area of specialty....

NOW this cycle coming up I am going to focus on arms and train the fuck out of arms... So I'll do multiple workouts per week same bodypart... OR chest two days in a row... I throw curveballs at my body. I don't increase the weight when On cycle, acting like i'm the most powerful soon to be injured guy in the gym... I start pounding away at 225 and try to hit that shit 20 times or 25...... instead of ten.... And I only weigh 180...

A cycle can be a great time to grow a body part you may feel is weak... Address a symmetry issue..... or plain and simply you want the biggest arms at the country bar you square dance at.... LOL

Yeeeeee haaaawwww!! Haha - I agree on keeping your body guessing. I do the same thing. Sometimes I do keep raising weights and sometimes I stay at the same weight and increase reps -- and sometimes I do both the same week with the same group. Sounds like we are about the same size and have a similar approach

Steroids are enzymes. They basically make what you are already doing right work even better.

As a general rule - your training and diet shouldn't change much whether on cycle or off cycle.

Hey Trevor, do certain steroids increase protein synthesis more then others per say? Or is here really no way to quantify how much they increase it anyway?

Wait...so I’m new to taking gear. So are you saying while you’re on a cycle you shouldn’t increase the weight too much but instead work on more reps and just hit the muscle more often rather then harder? And when you’re off cycle that’s when you should focus on upping the weight more?

Everyone's approach is different. Everyone's goals are different. Everyone's body is different. I've ran cycles where I increase weights almost every week and I've ran cycles where I keep weight the same but jack up reps. Lots of factors that play into that. It is good to keep your body guessing though. That can be done by tricking it, by changing things.

Don’t over think it.

Strength will go up regardless on gear if you’re eating and training right, so when it goes up you keep challenging yourself just as you would if you’re natural.

As muskate said steroids are just making this process faster.

Just don’t get ahead of yourself and intentionally over load and tear something.

Ok, that’s what I’m basically doing now. So I’ll just keep on keeping on. Thanks guys.
