everyone should get bloods before and after a cycle at minimum.

been getting a lot of PM's from guys with problems and my first question is "did you do bloods?" and there answer is always "no" .. I always want to help guys but if you post your problem I'm only going to tell you to go get bloodwork first anyway so might as well do it.

guys who do bloodwork rarely experience issues for a damn good reason.
I'm going to show you how to get bloods for cheap

when you click the link http://www.privatemdlabs.com/?partnerid=S56 scroll down to the middle of the page and you will see Hormone Panel Men and Bodybuilder Panel. Please look at what each contain and decide which one fits what you are looking for. Either one is very good. There is also a cheaper option called Male Anti-Aging Deluxe w/Free (Direct) Testosterone which is good too.

once you have selected what bloodwork panels you want, then go to cart and checkout

go into labcorp or Quest and get the drawn blood

I get labs done six x/year minimum. I often meet IFBB guys who haven't had labwork in years. Any wonder why they're dropping dead these days at break neck speeds? Three I knew are now six feet under. Mike Matarazzo was a Friend... :(
ANYONE using gear, and not getting regular lab work is a complete soup sandwich!

Labsmd.com has similar female hormone panel; uses Quest Diagnostics and few bucks more. But shows total T number, even if over 1500 and E2 reading that isn't thrown off by use of Tren, if these things concern you. Just another option. I use both Privatemdlabs and labsmd, depending on my needs.

I forget but whats the recommended fasting before tests?
Dont eat after 6pm the night before?

You can't go wrong with PrivateMD I ordered the female hormone panel during my last cycle. It was very easy to do and I had my results the next day.

if you want accurate glucose results then fast. otherwise don't fast .. you can actually strain some of your other numbers by fasting so I tell guys do your normal thing .. also its a myth you have to get tested in the morning, you can go in anytime you want for T levels. T levels are higher in the morning blah blah blah, so what. people micromanage things too much

no reason for you to miss work or de-hydrate/starve your body just go get bloodwork done.. do your normal thing and if you have an hour to spare at lunch from work go in during that time and get it done..

the dumbest thing I ever heard was from a guy who bitched because he got gyno and his dick stopped working from a cycle. I told him to go get bloodwork and he said "I can't afford 50 bucks right now" well fuck if you can't afford 50 bucks then how the fuck can you afford 500 for gear?

its like spending 15K on a pool and saying you can't afford the chemicals to treat it monthly

usually labcorp in the mornings have a full staff so they get you in and out fast even though there is a lot of people there. if you go later in the day its dead but there might only be 1 person there to draw blood

Maybe cause I'm a noob I have a problem finding the exact test that I should be using from privatemdlabs. Could someone tell me the exact name of the test to order to make sure I get it right the first time and for the first time. Thanks!

and then you will see the top 10 most requested tests right there in the middle of the page.. the first one is the female hormone test.. it costs about 62 bucks now.. after the 10% off you pay 55 or so which is chump change for the valueable info you will get.

if you are running a progestin it can't hurt to add in prolactin test to your order to make sure your prami/caber is doing its job.. that can save your dick from dying out on you.

also if you are fucking around with T3 or abusing tren its a good idea to add in the thyroid panel too
 
How long should I wait to get labs done on cycle? I put in an order with Robo and although I don't doubt the legitimacy of his products. Its just one of those peace of mind things.

Yep, we all must get blood work done to see if we can even handle or our bodies are ready for another blast, or recovered from last blast/pct.
I had my done yesterday and it will dictate if I blast again or not. If my numbers look poor or iffy I always side on caution and take several more weeks to give my body time to baseline, then get more work done. Hey it's 50 or so bucks...well worth it to me to have peace of mind.

yup, and guys need to remember a weak body cannot build muscle.

also opening yourself up to wrinkles and other aging things on our body from poor internal health is counter productive to what we want to do anyway.. the whole reason for bodybuilding is to look great right? to blow away our peers right? how can you look great when your body is dying inside?
 
What panels are you ordering to check and see if your ready for the next blast? I have never done bloods before. I would love to have the piece of mind before getting back on the horse.
 
Steve, excellent information for people especially what you said concerning thyroid tests if using T3 or tren. I've been on TRT for a good while, so I'm used to the occasional tests from Quest. I haven't heard of these labs before though... I'll definitely need to check it out for my next cycle.

Do you all ever do tests for your HGH (to see what you're levels are/if yours is legit), SHBG, or any others? Those might be useful for a few people.

thanks steve. they had a 10% discount code on their homepage if you took a 4 question poll, which i did, so i am g2g. i ordered my bloods for my upcoming cycle and added in the growth hormone test as well since i have been running kefeis.

start with the female hormone panel then add whatever else you want on top of that

when you go give blood they may give you cholesterol results btw
 
Since I have insurance, do u guys know if having high test levels get recorded some how?
i just had some tests done for my cholesterol and also included testosterone levels. soon I will be starting my cycle. and within 3 months I'm going back for a follow up lab work.

What can be a good answer other than I'm on a cycle?

yes it can.. which is why its important to run anonymous bloodwork like this. this is 100% confidential, you don't need to provide your real name or show ID when you go in. so nothing is recorded

I figured I'd put this out there since I am also in a state that prevents me from using privatemdlabs. I've done some digging and I have found a place that says they accept people from the northeast. DIRECTLABS.com Apparently they have a doctor on staff that issues a request for blood work and they work with Labcorp (who is everywhere). Because of the laws in these northeast states, an anonymous test isn't possible.. You need to give them a name for the doctor to fill out the test requisition to, and you will need ID at Labcorp for the blood draw. Although their site does say this ...

"Are my results confidential?
Yes, except when laws require reporting positive results to government agencies. We respect your privacy and maintain confidentiality. You are the only one who receives the results unless you specify otherwise, with a signed HIPAA release. Not even your insurance company will obtain results from DLS and/or its associates without written consent from you."

I'll be giving them a run sometime soon, but hope this helps some guys out, I know how much it sucks to not be able to handle your own blood work confidentially.

I wouldn't trust another blood work company and trust me I have tried them all.. some of them take 2 weeks to get your results. fuck that.. in this game you need to know what is going on in your body NOW, not what WAS going on in your body.

Obviously it could be bullshit but according to their site it says results are generally received 24-48 hours. I know Labcorp has been pretty fast in the past when I had dr ordered tests. Problem is where I live Pennsylvania would be the closest option and depending on what town it'll be a 3-4 hour drive maybe a little less of it's right near the border. And that's also depending on what the city traffic is like. With my job and other shit in my life that just wouldn't be a viable option to do bloods as often as I would like. Believe me I would rather use privatemdlabs, but I think it's worth a shot to see if this company works out.

Good option but they don't offer their services in my state. Be a 3 hour drive to a hospital in a state that does offer. Still worth the drive, Thanks Steves for the information.

you can make an appointment but there is rarely much of a wait so I just show up at my convienience, might want to call to check their hours though.

you order, print out the paper and then take that paper with you. you don't show ID.. if they ask for ID you tell them to go fuck themselves.. haha jk.. just calmly tell them you are getting anonymous bloodwork and you are not required to show them anything. next day log onto the website and you will see your results, as simple as that

*** keep in mind a lot of labcorp's business is employee drug screening so the employees there will naturally ask for ID out of habit and ignorance. when you walk in there with an order from a doc 1500 miles away obviously they are too stupid to understand you are getting bloodwork from a doc who never even saw you.

I am a MA resident so for me to use direct labs i'll have to enter a NH address into the directlabs website or it will bounce me. Can I get away with my buddies NH home address? As long as they don't check ID I can put anything into the website. Thanks.

if it were me, i'd likely say something like i just moved and havent gotten a new ID yet. whats the worst that could happen, they deny you? go somewhere else
 
ok so here is the update. i got bloods taken without any id. they asked for it i told them not happening. just waiting for the results now. thanks steve!
 
correct. get a buddies address in nh (or make one up) go on directlabs order you up some tests. show up. they might ask if you have anything with your name on it. i had a credit card in my pocket. i gave it to the girl she just shrugged. i don't see why they need id anyway.
 
i am not happy with labdirect being a labcorp only shop. labcorp testosterone test limits only go to 1500. helpful but not really useful. also i think dbol or some other oral with blow up the estrogen test. labcorp is not the best, quest is better. i found another website

if you order the correct test it will go past 1500.. female hormone panel only goes to 1500 cause its a FEMALE hormone panel. if you get the male one it goes past 1500

I online chatted with them, and they confirmed they do testing in MA at Quest Diagnostics. Probably not until next year, but I will be trying this. The testosterone tests that are listed are:

There is even a question in the FAQ: How can I keep my “true” identity from HTD, and the clinic, and the lab?

Answer: For your patient information you just type in an alias, but when you pay for the blood work you need to put in the correct information.

Thanks for helping with some of the leg work. I'm on a Mac and i couldn't get to the answer about alias.
