So I know alot of the pro's are massive. But the one thing that really stands out to me is the vascularity these guys can achieve. If a regular joe like myself was trying to achieve such vascularity how could I do it without having to take a bunch of steroids?

First of all, your skin needs to be thin; the thinner the better. If your skin is especially thick, forget about being vascular. Secondly, you need to carry very little body fat; the less the better.

Genetics...
Other than that steroids due to the increase in blood volume, it actually widens out your veins...takes years to achieve tho

I managed to get pretty vascular before I jumped on. Maybe it was meant to be, maybe the citruline and argenine I always take pre workout helped. I also bounce between cold shower and hot sauna.

Genetics, indeed, without which all is lost.
It's a lot like having your "six pack" or "eight pack" show; if you have the genetics for such a thing, then you can cultivate that look. Without such genetics, however, you will never see your abs' regardless of how hard you work at it. Generally speaking, if your abs' showed when you were a child, then you can like make them show again during adulthood. If, on the other hand, your abs' didn't show as a child, then forget about it.

Imma use this as my reasoning because I cannot, for the life of me, get abs to show! I've been trying for years. I never was a "thin" kid - never fat but I was always just naturally the biggest out of anyone I hung around. I've never had abs as a kid either....(sorry OP - not jacking your thread!!)

Get lean. There's a ton of people who never trained and had it. Heck, I had split biceps back when I weighed a 100lbs less than I do now.

Now that is the picture of vascularity, fendihoe; very prominent.
And might I say that Dave's whiskers are looking great, too?

everything said above X2 + you have to remember those pics you see of pros they are at their peak vascularity.. they are on things like cialis, blood pump supps, hardeners, winny to dry etc. they are peaking.. plus they have top .5% genetics. it is like asking 'how can i throw a football 60 yards on a dime like patrick Mahomes?".. well his dad was a pro baseball player, so obviously it is a genetic thing.. not a fluke and not something you can practice

now an avg joe like the rest of us 99%ers we can only control what we can control. you can work on getting body fat down, that is always going to help.. also popping those muscles will further push the veins out.

steve made a good point about all the other things they are on as well... for an every day person not wanting to take that much shit, which i dont recommend you doing, then being as lean as possible, keeping a very very consistent and clean diet and being dry as possible are the best ways...

vascularity is very genetic.

Not to be racist but most black guys have zero vascularity no matter how lean they get.

vascularity really comes down to genetics and body fat

Fuck, I can't look as good as Dave even running a good tren cycle. Fuck you Dave! LOL!

Vascularity really comes down to being as lean as you can. Genetics obviously play a part so, as the old cliché goes, "become the best version of yourself". Get lean and that will allow you to become vascular. There are other things like NO supplements that help but those are only temporary.

Well thanks man, that’s quite the compliment lol. It’s a good pic

Yeah, its just harmless and meaningless banter. Thanks for rolling with it. And keep to working hard, you look great!

You’ll find I’ve quite the sense of humour.. And thank you, I will. Hard work is in my blood!

Loved the alabaster skin comment. I am pretty white. ‘specially my ears. Lolz.
Athough I did have a great tan this summer... I come for from a land of ice and snow....

No I'm from Wisconsin (USA) but its damn shitty here right now. Winter started about 2 months early this year and it's been way colder than usual. We also got snow super early this year - easier than I've ever seen it. Not a fan of the cold but here I am. Yea man, better to be smart and heal up before you push it. Will help you see those goals!

I'm sorry Eddie but I don't believe in that thin skin and tilapia bullshit. To me it's always seemed more like an excuse for not being lean enough.
Diet plays a role and I do agree that genetics play a huge role as well. Not everyone can achieve that Frank McGrath look.
