Alright boys and girls... listening to @stevesmi and @Mobster on the podcast has been the bit to make me pull the trigger on doing a log. Sorry for the really long first log post. I'm sure I've missed a ton of data.
I'm 43M and started this at the beginning of June. I'm not particularly healthy; diet was/is crap, I didn't get to the gym for any sort of weight training, I ride a little (used to race road bikes) but middle age expansion took over and I went from 72kg 9 years ago to 90+ kg... something had to give and I was determined to be results-focused on this.
Spoke to my GP, got a real condescending look when I asked for TRT and had to twist his arm for a Tripeptide prescription. That was enough for me to say FU I;m doing this myself because ten years on an SNRI ain't cutting it, something's wrong and I'll fix myself. Coincidentally there's nothing quite like a marriage breakdown to fuel your desire to change too (shout out to all the other single dads out there).
I did my bloods last time in March 2025
- Full bloods within specs
- Iron within specs
- Thyroid function 3.14mIU/L (range 0.5 - 4.00) so on the bigger end (probably because I was overweight)
- Plasma lipids:
So after some digging and plenty of research I came across you lot at Evolutionary.org and pulled the trigger on some products from @Raptor Labs
Initial stack is:
- 200mg per week Test C (this went to 300mg pw on my second week) pinned Sun & Wed
- 500iU HCG per week pinned Mon & Fri
- 1mg Reta per week pinned Mon & Fri (this started at 0.5mg in my first week to assess sides then went to 0.5mg per pin the following week)
Currently on (as of 14/7)
- 300mg pw Test C on Sun & Wed (I'm switchng this to Test E @ 400mg vial because I'm wanting to see if my body prefers less oil as I get a sizable lump at my injection sites (ventral glute)
- 500iU HCG per week pinned Sat (moved this to once a week dose because I'm not mixing the peptides in the syringe anymore)
- 2mg per week Reta (since beginning of July) titrated up from the previous dose - again no sides but respecting it so not going up until another four weeks has passed.
Now here's the interesting part... I'm an accountant by trade, so numbers and data is important to know how I'm progressing... the problem is I'm not progressing as I expect... Started at 91kg now sitting at 94/95... but fat %age of mass has decreased by 6.2% and muscle has increased by 5.8%... but here's the clincher.... I'm retaining water and I think because of the high T dose (this has been immediately cut back to 200mg per week until further notice) and I'm ordering Aromasin through Raptor when they're back from leave next week (in the meantime I'll have labs done again and refresh the results) thinks aren't terrible I'm not feeling ill but I do think I've got high-ish E2 levels based on mood recently and reactions to a stressful work and home environment
As for exercise - I do some time on my indoor trainer (cardio) twice a week and I try to get to the gym for weights twice a week as well. I refer to my Caliber app for plannining out my workouts (if I had to pick an area I want to build first it's arms & shoulders, cyclists are not traditionally big in this area) so I have a three day PPL routine I stick to and working through.
Next update will cover my diet (I have a sweet tooth - working on it) and I'll try to get some better description of my diet and exercise routines.
Photos and screenshots of my data from my smart scales (I don't trust the absolute numbers, but I do trust the relative direction to help me manage and assess my progress). Lets see how far I can get in six months...

- Thyroid function 3.14mIU/L (range 0.5 - 4.00) so on the bigger end (probably because I was overweight)
- Plasma lipids:
- Total Chol: 5.2 mmol/L (bad)
- Triglyceride: 1.7 mmol/L
- HDL - C: 1.1mmol/L
- LDL - C: 3.3 mmol/L
- Non HDL - C: 4.1 mmol/L
- Chol/HDL Ratio: 4.7
This was probably the area that most concerned me - I was eating trash and it was showing... luckily glocose wasn't showing issues so I wasn't prediabetic (yet)
- Total Testosterone: 14.3 nmol/L... I'm sure this needed to be into the 30's for me to feel better... (next bloods I'll get a full hormone screen because one number isn't going to cut it for analysis and tracking - but that's what the doc ordered for me)So after some digging and plenty of research I came across you lot at Evolutionary.org and pulled the trigger on some products from @Raptor Labs
