Approved Log My Cut Cycle Log: Road to 200lbs or less! My first cut ever.

Yeah agree, specially when the gym starts to not take care of things and just let it go down hill.
What happens a lot of times is the original owners sell or they just stop caring anymore. They get bored with it. Everyone wants to open a gym but no one wants to manage a gym. There are two different things involved.

I've seen this a million times! Very true! ⬆️

thats awesome :D I love seeing guys who bodybuilding and run gyms with some rules.
hopefully its a place you'll love long term @kcates
So far so good I am really enjoying it. still trying out new stuff and new equipment is still coming in. I tried out some bootybuilder equipment I have never seen before. Other gyms I been to all they have is the bootybuilder hip thrust machine. This has about 7 bootybuilder machines.

lets get some pics of it up :D please

Sounds like a good plan to me.

When I say a strong leg day, I mean one of those leg days where you can't even walk out of the gym. You've got to really push your body beyond what it's capable of to get stronger if that makes sense. Obviously as you get older, it's not realistic to train like that every time. Maybe hit it hard like that every two or three weeks.
Ok, I have gotten close to that with the AMRAP Drop sets I been doing. I have to sit and rest after those or stumble around but I haven't ended up laying on the floor yet.

Sounds like your wife is doing really good man, congrats for that.
She is. She has finally started training this year doing strength. She is doing a push pull leg split. Doing one-2 exercise per body part. She has been going 3 days a week. She is also still on her Reta. Hopefully this is the turning point for her. I went with her the first week to show her how to do everything. Then when she been going in the evening when I am home I go for support. We don't work well together when she has tried to help in the past with construction. She actually told me I would be a really good trainer. I been being super nice and supportive and not pushy. I don't want her to get turned off. She is going to planet fitness right now. She is super intimidated by guns and other people. Probably about 15 years ago she had a bad experience at a gym where young girls were laughing at her. She was always intimidated by the equipment because she didn't know how to use it. She also had this perception she had to train like me. I told her no and that it was way easier then the fit body boot camp she was going to. I went to that with her once and that was tough on me. Now I have shown her what to do and she has seen the light that weight training is pretty easy when it's all planned out for you. She is doing progressive overload when she hits her top reps for all sets. We are going to stick to this for 6 weeks then we will see how things are then and adjust as needed. Then today we had planned to go together to my gym and hit all the glute equipment together. She was excited said she needs to get a butt. Then her eye got infected and she didn't want to go. I know it's bad because she didn't even want to go out to try a new place for dinner with me and my son tonight. Next Sunday we will get it

Yes, I never stop training. I plan out gyms ahead of time before I leave. I still get up early and go as soon as I can get in.
Bros, damn you got some good dedication then.

I finished my last 12 week block of training. In the 3nd the 20n reps stuff got intense. Deload this week maybe next week also. Using ehalf the weight and chilln. Here is what I have planned for my next 6 weeks after I come out of my deload. What do y'all think? Only thing I am contemplating is adding vertical bench press on push B. Other then that this is my plan. Appreciate the feed back.

@kcates that definitely looks like a good carb meal. You'll go a long way with that one if you want to get your carbs higher.

It's a mental addiction now I think. I can't stay away. I go every day of the week. Better then all my other addictions in the past. The problem is I am diagnosed obsessive compulsive. It's a blessing and a curse.

Definitely good to see you back posting. @kcates this is a great little workout you put together. Rows are really fun to do, and it's a good feeling to get your back pumped up.

@kcates I got a lot of respect for this right here. This is a great training session that you put together. Keep up the good work.

It doesn't hurt to do a D-load. I think you can certainly add the vertical bench press on the push. That's not a bad idea at all. I like your plan overall man. As long as you're putting in the hours, that's the main thing. @kcates

I think I am going to d load for this week and next and get the body fresh again. I will throw in the vertical. I also added in dumbbell curls before hammer on pull a. I did one machine and then didn't feel it was enough before hammer curls. Doing my plan workout on a deload is kind of nice because it helps me work out the kinks before hitting it hard.

Last 3 days of training.
Yesterday's diet:
Daily supps and meds

Breakfast : 6 eggs, 9 ounces of rice, and 12 ounce of beef.

Dinner: 2 chicken breast brined in pickle juice and with panko on it baked. They were juice that's for sure.
Great breakfast!

I think after however you like to warm up you can start your first set a slight bit heavier so it's not the same number of reps for 3 sets of the same weight.

Example:
Panatta row
Set 1 60lb x 12
Set 2-4 50lb x 12

I bet you can do this!

you're back to your old lower volume routine right? @kcates

you're back to your old lower volume routine right? @kcates
I am doing the training I posted previously asking what people though and only got a response from Roidders on it but right now I am doing just 50% the weight for this week and possible next week for my deload then I am going to crank up the weight and get after it again and progressive overload each week. Still kinda of thinking about my leg workout and I may change it some now they got in a new arsenal pendulum squat yesterday. Might add it into the rotation somewhere. It's kind of nice doing this deload and working through my workouts I planned out to see how they flow and make some adjustments. After my 1- 2 weeks deload then I will run it a minimum of 6 weeks if not more before I switch things up. I plan to start test, deca and HGH next month see how I do on deca. Kinda trying to figure out what amounts I am going to run for my test and deca.

I am in a deload right now just going through the movements and letting my body rest on low weights for this week and possible next week see how I feel come Sunday and see how recovery is going. That last run of doing a strength block then going into the 12 rep range for a block then into the 20 rep range for a block beat my cns up, kind like prepping for a powerlifting meet. I am not conditioned for those 20 rep sets all the time. Lol. I probably need to do them more often to get better condition. When I push the weight amounts back up after my deload I will keep that in mind. For my knowledge what is the purpose for doing it like that? Also so on all the exercises I have 3 sets do a heavy first set then drop a little weight and do 2-4 more at that weight. My plan was the first exercise do less reps but 4 working sets. When I hit all sets with the required reps I move the weight up next time I do that exercise. Then after my primary exercise for that body part I was going to do 3 sets but more reps but do the same progressive overload. That was my thinking.

I would stick to it if it works lets see a few weeks.
The new cycle lets get lower doses 300mgs test 100 deca to start @kcates

I was thinking 1000 mg sustenon and 500 mg deca with 8 IU of HGH to start and work up to 3 grams but yeah I can do 300 mg of sustenon and 100 mg of deca instead and 2 Iu of HGH. I might just save a few dollars and shit ton of side effects going your way! Lol, just kidding. I probably need to start .5mg of arimidex EOD with this as well.i am getting blood work first in a couple of weeks before I do anything see how things have cleared up. I actually have felt really good on just doing 160mg of test weekly doing my injections 2x weekly with no arimidex. Hopefully my red blood and hematocrit have come down. Blood work will tell here by mid February. I figured I would get a baseline IgF-1 reading then as well.

1gram sust way too much why?
start with 500mgs sustanon and 200mgs deca if you want to go high with 4ius of hgh @kcates

Oh I see I didnt get that lol :P
Yeah, I am not going above a gram of gear, yet! I am going slow while I try deca for the first time see how my body reacts to it. I want to see if I love it or hate it. Question should I go like 4- 6 weeks before deciding to increase the dose since it takes so long to take effect in the system?

I would say 4 weeks is the sweet spot, you should feel it 4 weeks in and see how you do from it @kcates

Ok sounds good. Looking to start next month after blood work.
Smart move getting bloodwork first.

For my knowledge what is the purpose for doing it like that? Also so on all the exercises I have 3 sets do a heavy first set then drop a little weight and do 2-4 more at that weight.
High reps gives you a pump and a new level of burn that most don't experience. Going above 25 reps is just a different kind of hypertrophy and it also helps with conditioning and gets your heart rate up a bit higher and for longer.

You had me on this one too as well as @LevButlerov; I was like whaaat??? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

How has diet been?

How has diet been?
I am trying to strengthen those glutes! Diet is the same old same old. Daily supplements and meds. 6 eggs, 12 ounces of ground beef and 9 ounces of rice after training. Dinner is 12-16 ounces of lean meat. I have added carbs to dinner. I have figured out that having no carbs at dinner has been causing me to wake at 3 am and have a hard time going back to sleep. Added carbs at dinner and fixed the problem. Depending on the day I have being just workout but no work then only 5-6 ounces of rice, if it's a workout and work day then I am doing 8-9 ounces of rice at dinner. Keeping fat as low as possible. I switched my beef to 90/10.to reduce that down in the am. That's about it in a nut shell.

I really like how you strategically figured out your sleep vs carbs required for better sleep on both workout and non workout days. Great personal hack to figure out for you. ✅

Bros, you are a machine. Your training keeps getting better and better if you ask me. @kcates
I appreciate that. I just keep doing blocks of things and trying new stuff seeing what works. Listening to what you guys say to try. Also listening to my body is teaching me a lot as well. Moving to this new gym and having a lot of speciality machines specially the Panatta equipment and Arsenal has given me new options and allowed me to move more volume as well and not been so hard on the body like the free weights. I guess it's just growing in knowledge and experience you just get better. I have really only been doing this a little over 2 years now. I am still really a newbie at this in the scope of things.

@kcates I can definitely see you being a good deadlifter. Nice to see you're hitting those and you're hitting a lot of compound lifts. That's the key.
[/QUOTE I am missing is my SSB squats right now. Also not doing my conventional deadlifts. The new gym doesn't have a SSB for me to use yet. I am enjoying the Arsenals pendulum squat right now. Actually I am really enjoying these more bodybuilding style workouts. Higher reps, more focus on form, tempo, and squeeze at the top. I enjoy the pump that is for sure. I get bored with this maybe do more of a powerbuilding style workouts see how the combination of the two styles is next. I am not striving for anything in particular just love going to the gym and working out. I just want to pack on muscle size right now and get bigger. I just want to be the biggest dad in the car riders line when I pick up my son! Lol. Got have goals right?

No man needs a glute machine. Just squat and flex the glutes
I cant squat right now they don't have an SSB bar yet. I asked when I signed up if they were getting one they said yes they were ordering one. I need to check up on that so I can get back to doing more traditional squats. These new machines I just been trying out for fun. I noticed yesterday this kickback machine I was using is pretty worthless. Going to switch it out. The step up machine is good one because it helps correlate to a lot of functional strength that I use at work like climbing up in the back of the truck to get material and climbing ladders. I will probably keep that one.

Nice workouts there mate! Looks like you're taking full advantage of that nice equipment!
Yeah man, like being at a new amusement park hitting all the new roller coasters. the Panatta and Arsenal stuff just seems to be easier on the joints so far as well. Also noticed and talked to other people as well it takes a lot less weight to feel heavy on the Panatta equipment.

Yeah, I have never really had an issue where I wake up in the middle of the night and couldn't go back to sleep and just lay there thinking. That shit really sucks. I like my sleep to much. I just kept researching on the issue and trying new things until I figured it out. I also learned cause of this I was counting my macros wrong. I thought my carb count was the total weight of the rice not that the rice had a carb value per ounce and I was to be counting that. So when I ate 9 ounces of rice I thought that was 252 grams of carbs since that was what it weighed. So I thought I was eating a lot of carbs already every day.

Haha more like not enough carbs :p
Glad you got that figured out.

bros i can't wait to see where you at by summer

However I look it won't be the same as I am today and I will be thankful for that. This lifestyle change has been a blessing for sure.
Bros, lifestyle change is important. That's good that you are now on the right path.

I was checking out your log. Your recomp is going great! Keep it up. What all are you taking right now still anabolic wise?
Bros, I take it week by week. Right now I'm cruising but I'm going to do a blast pretty quick. Just depends on what mood my wife is in. Sometimes she doesn't like me using a lot of gear. Her family is against it.

Training log dump: diet, meds, and sups the same as usual.

Steady on the protein and great volume brother you're like a freight train, unstoppable keep it up!

Just depends on what mood my wife is in. Sometimes she doesn't like me using a lot of gear. Her family is against it.
Respect for this @ceo 🤜🤛

CEO, my wife says just don't go crazy but she never quantified exactly what crazy is! Lol
@ceo ⬆️

Haha kcates.... tell her "crazy" is 2g total weekly androgens and point her to my 2025 log then you'll look mediocre and she'll be at ease.

Those leg workouts look good. Don't see many doing reverse hypers. I like the high reps calf raises as well.

Your push and pull days have a lot of exercises. Push A has 12. I'd probably scale them back. How many times a week do you train?

Haha she sounds like my girl HarleyGirl, redhead and Viking sassy is my girl. I had to lower her HRT for menopause she was roid raging on 10mg had to lower her to 7.5mg she would make me laugh saying “I don’t know how you guys deal with this I wanna kill someone” and I’d be cracking up.

I hope they like you now because I do! LOL

Nah bro then she will know I am mediocre and may want the BBC instead of WMC ( white mediocre cock)! Haha just kidding. Actually she trust my judgement that's why she just said don't go crazy. She knows I have the doctor in on this and I do this mostly responsible with the help of the EvO family.

That's why we lift heavy and kill it in the gym so we don't kill someone in the streets!

I am trying to tell my wife to try the test. Her doctor said she would prescribe it but she won't go forward on it. I keep telling her she has all the symptoms I had prior to going on it and it will fix her as well and not turn her into a man. It's just bringing her back to a natural level. Hopefully she will do it.

I would say I lose some in the afternoons right now. Yesterday I was so hungry I had 2.cliff bars around 3pm.
2 cliff bars are gtg :D

2 cliff bars are gtg :D
I left a compressor on another job and had to go get it for the current job. My wife had brought them home and so I took the box and put them in the truck for if I got hungry in the afternoons. I sat down to drive and then it hit me I was hungry. I ate one on the way there. On the way back I was like I am still hungry. I ate another one. I am in a position now that if the body says it's hungry I need to eat something if I am in-between my big feeds.

HarleyGirl was having baaad menopausal symptoms and here's what worked for her (HarleyGuy's menopausal solution :p):

Menopausal cycle (zero symptoms now):

7.5mg TestE/week
3.75mg Estrogen/day (= 3 pumps of 0.06% estradiol gel every day)
KLOW 10iu=8mg/day (1/1/5/1 in the AM so it includes activity and disperses throughout the day - hip pain is common symptom)
1.5g black cohosh/day (at night as it also helps with sleep)
2g red clover/day (at night too as it's a mild sedative)
5g creatine/day
1 methyl multivitamin/day
Probiotics (30+ billion - one after each meal)
