Great lift man - I have more to shorter workouts. Focusing on intensity now and moving heavier weight. I am really enjoying the change up - I feel that recovery has improved with keeping the lifts shorter and more focused.
@MarkNV oh wow, that's a good one for sure. These nerve issues are definitely a problem.Nerve block was good, about 3.5 hours in, thempain has reduced by a bit more than 50 percent. So we now know an ablation will work!
Unfortunately this block was all about learning if deadening the nerves would work, and it will wear off here soon. I don’t care, because now the light at the end of the tunnel is burning bright!!

I find the reverse grip bench press to be easy on the shoulders personally. I think it'd be worth giving it a shot. They are awkward at first especially unracking so start light to get the feel for it.For the next to weeks, I have to pressure off of my shoulder. But I need to do chest!

Okay!! Hey, maybe going really easy on my chest and back for 12 days will allow them to really heal and tighten up. And I know for a fact that we burn loads of fat while muscles are recovering nicelyyou dont have to worry 2 weeks no issues at all@MarkNV just lower for that time

Kinda like a bit of old school!The reta is more muscle protective than triz. But the food noise is louder. But you can run reta up high, 16 mg a week. The old man brain is real! Just starting to explore this!

I think the really light weight enabled to concentrate on my form and I was able to pick my position a lot easier and go slow, i was able to find the positions in between so to speak and get around the pain

I am in the part where I am keeping at 1700 to 1800 calories, 200g Protein and for the last week, trying carbs below 150 to 170 and lean food…..and if I can hold fast….for the next 6 weeks it will be great!!Yes now more than ever let's do lower weights and higher reps. So this is a full blown cut cycle now? Depending on how aggressive you wanna take it we can look at cutting carbs, keeping fats low so calories come down but keep workouts the same weights and intensity and really push hard.
