Arimidex switch to aromasin

Hello all-- Right now I take 1/4 th of a 1 mg of ARIMIDEX twice per week so .25 mg twice a week. I am going to have my doc switch me to aromasin. should I take 5 mg twice a week of aromasin? I figure I would chop the 10mg pill in half. When I took larger doses of the Arimidex as prescribed my well intentioned doc-- we crashed my estrogen.... I am doing a pretty good job of keeping it in the 20's.

You can comfortably switch,discuss the doses with your doc,normally we take 12.5 mg EOD.

0.25mg of arimidex is equivalent to about 5mg of aromasin. I agree with your plan. I would swap your 0.25mg arimidex twice per week dosage to 5mg aromasin twice per week.

Aromasin is a better choice then arimidex in every way. No estrogen rebound, better on cholesterol levels and it will increase free testosterone levels.

i always tell guys to start with an approximate dosage of an AI and then roll with it and run blood work. if your bloods come out not the way you want then simply adjust the dosage

dosage of an AI has to do with the individual + what they are running

Too many people run these AI doses too high. I really like your idea of starting with 5mg twice per week. See where that gets you and then adjust. Nice to see a doctor willing to prescribe aromasin.

In any case dont over-do it if you already managed to crash your estrogen with arimidex
