That's kind of bro-science. Too much saturated fat can increase LDL cholesterol levels in the body but eating beef in moderation is perfectly fine and actually healthy. What I would highly recommend you try to find is 100% grass fed beef. Commercially raised beef that you find at the grocery store will have been fed corn, soy and grain. Grass fed beef has a 1:1 omega 3 to omega 6 fatty acid ratio and will actually improve cholesterol levels.

The real culprit for increasing LDL cholesterol levels and decreasing HDL cholesterol levels is trans fat and sugar. Both of those you want to keep as minimal as possible in your diet.

If you will eat dozens of pounds of beed with a lot of fat your lipids will get strained. However, if you get some clean meat and eat it in moderation, there should be no impact at all on your cholesterol levels. Yet, it is a very good, natural and healthy source of protein. So the benefits by far outweight the possible downsides of beef.

Lean beef is great. The only reason so many people use chicken breasts is because of the low fat content.

Well if your beef is full of fats and you keep on eating that every single day - yes.

But usually you can be consuming that on daily basis without having many issues. I am usually pro-red-meat, as it has a lot of profound positive effects on male hormone system
