As a matter of fact, you can check out the labels on different preworkout supplements, and you will see that they share the same sort of ingredients - heavy dosages of stims. Therefore, the healthiest thing you can use as a preworkout supplement, which will also cause no crashes during training, is real food taken an hour or an hour and a half before training.
Also, I use a supplement called DSpark - it is a non-stim based preworkout supplement. Has no stims in it, so there are no side effects, and yet there is a lot of energy. Out of all non-stim preworkout supplements, this is the only one that has ever given me real results.
