Hi,not sure if this is appropriate or not but to order gear from a Canadian source I am required to pay in bitcoin currency.anyone have any recommended sources in Canada to purchase these bitcoins.just wondering.thanks for any info.

just google bitcoin merchants.. you purchase them and once the funds clear you will be able to use them

the risk with bitcoins is the value changes constantly. you could buy bitcoins today and by tomorow the value could go up or down by X amount.

so i tell people put extra in just in case the value goes down

Bitcoin is probably the safest way to buy gear. There are tons of merchants.

I personally wouldn't use bitcoins. The problem with bitcoins is that their value is constantly changing. If you buy them when they're high, you can loose a lot of money.

they are super high atm, i've been trading BTC for years. Coinbase is the best option for purchasing BTC. bad time to invest but typically shouldn't be bad for a quick transaction. Also might want to consider using a coin tumbling service to hide your transaction.
