does private MD put a cap on the TT testing on the female hormone test?

i swear i saw stevesmi say that it maxes at 1500 but i could be wrong

im using them for the 2nd time. did the draw this morning and hoping i get results in the morning just like last time. my e2 is still all fucked so curious if any better, same, or worse so can make adjustments

Female Menopause Panel does have a cap.

The test that I recommended if running other androgens outside of Testosterone removes the cap and will not be skewed by outside compounds in the blood.

also I believe the male hormone panel has no cap, and you can add free test which will have no test and you can get a damn good idea from that where your levels are

not that anyone cares but already got my results back. 23 hour turnaround time is amazing imo.

when my regular trt doctor orders labs from labcorp, takes between 3-7 days. no idea why so long considering I go to the same place but it is what it is

Hey stevesmi, question, Im wanting to get just blood work done, I understand I pay on the privatemd site but does it cost at the blood draw center too?

no you take the paperwork in bro..

your best bet in that case is get the female hormone panel. just click the link I posted on post #1 and you will see under most requested tests its right there.

All labcorp is capped at 1500. Try to use quest.

I read thru this thread again...Im getting both answers..some say there is a cap on the womens only and some say cap on the mens too..I dont want a cap, I want to see how high it is while on. I cant find anything called Quest besides Quest Diagnostics. There isnt anywhere to order bloodwork. That is who My HRT dr uses. I think their a testing lab like Labcorp. I tried another address in this thread but there isnt a draw lab in my area under 50miles... Maybe Ill call Privatemd tomorrow and ask them directly about the testosterone cap. Thanks again quys.

I noticed the female panel does not include lipids, how worried should I be? And it doesnt do free test only total. If I add free test its another 92 bucks. Sound about right?

what is your reasoning for testing during cycle is my question.. are you questioning your gear? or do you want to see if you are controlling your E?

as for lipids.. if you are referring to cholesterol all you gotta do for that is go give blood and you will get those results free.

I agree with stevsmi that free t doesn't really tell us anything. I think all privatemdlabs locations are labcorp and i think all total t results are capped at 1500. I don't know this for fact. There are other lab testing referral sources that can get you into quest. Google around a bit. I have never seen quest not go >1500. I will only go to quest.



You are running orals so its a good idea to add the liver enzymes.

I think that the test needs to say LC/MS/MS. That is the liquid chromatography - mass spec test and it's considerably more expensive. tren doesn't confuse it and it isn't capped. I will get to the bottom of this!
