What do u mean it doesn't work, it's an excellent laxative. Actually used year maybe 4 years ago & it was good.
They must of changed it because when I got some last year, well I didn't use it long it was too strong a laxative & I couldn't get thru a workout
I wouldn't waste money on these stimulant based preworkout powders. You may have become desensitized to caffeine and need a break for your system to refresh. I would keep caffeine intake low to a cup of coffee or green tea and toss in a b100 vitamin and some food. You will be much better off this way in the end than using stimulant long term.
That's one of the major problems with stim based pre-workout supplements - you may be insensitive to them due to other things you are taking during the day. For instance, if you are a coffee lover like I am, then these stim based pre-workouts won't do much for you, if anything at all. Besides, they can cause many side effects, and will eventually lead to adrenal fatigue. Additionally, they will increase cortisol levels, which is a catabolic hormone, so it will cause muscle wasting. This is the reason I prefer non-stim preworkout supplements, and DSpark is my favorite. Ever since I have tried it, I never looked back to any pre-workout supplements. DSpark gives me incredible energy and pumps in the gym, and since it has no stims in it, I can keep drinking my coffee everyday without any problems at all.
I agree with this completely! If you feel immune to stimulants such as coffee, pre-workout etc. that is a RED FLAG that your adrenal glands are burnt out.
I would take a break from all stimulants for at least 4 weeks to allow your adrenal cortex to heal and repair.
It's a big misconception that you need a pre-workout before your workouts. I would simply take 5g of creatine + a b100 vitamin before your workout. No crash, no jittery feeling. Just read the ingredients carefully because a lot of flavoured creatine products have added stimulants. The product I personally use is Ancient Strength from n2bm.com https://www.needtobuildmuscle.com/store/Cycle-Support-c26/Ancient-Strength-p273.html
Sounds like your body is getting used to the caffeine dosage, try upping it from 1 scoop to a scoop and a half if that doesn't work try a new pre workout. Heaps out there to choose from but what the guys have said is true try having a meal prior like some peanut butter on bread and a protein shake that never fails me
