Chiropractor helps?

If you do, do you think it helps?

I have this chronic back pain in my middle back that feels like I have a ton of pressure on my spine. It feels like it always needs to cracked. It doesn't affect my daily life, but affects me when working out. I can't do shrugs or squats because it hurts then. It doesn't stay sore, it only hurts when I do the exercise, once I stop, theres no pain or throbbing. I also don't have any numbness or tingling in my legs.

Got a chiropractor appt 2morow, any1 go to one? Did it help? I hear mixed things.

Can't say I've ever used one, but I hope it helps you get back to being able to do your lifts.

They've definitely helped me. It really depends on what you have going on. If its alignment related it will help

run, don't walk away from a chiro.

cracking your back has zero logical sense to help. they are good SALESMAN.. he will take an xray of your back and then give you the sales scam with that little spine thing showing you what is wrong with you and scaring you into signing up to come in.

i'm not going to sit here and diagnose your issue but i guarantee you that you have disc problems which are completely normal for a lifter. so there are 2 things you can do.

1. invest in an inversion table to use at home which will decompress your spine and use it daily
2. go to bikram yoga classes which will heal, align, and decompress your spine

those are the only ways to actually REVERSE disc problems.

a lot of guys will tell you to go to a chiro or massage person who can relieve the disc pressure, well that is ONLY a temporary thing.. the problem is not being addressed and when you continue lifting you will compress the issue more

I’ve had it help but I’ve also had them make it worse. I have a friend that his wife regularly went in to get adjusted and it caused her to have a stroke from adjusting her neck. I guess it happens to quite a few people. I have been adjusted many times over the years and never had that problem but it has made me not really want to go anymore.
