Coffee in protein

I've started using protein powder for my coffee at work in place of cream. The one I'm using dosen't mix very well and even 1 scoop (serving is 3 scoops) leaves my mug covered in flim. Has anyone used protein powder in their coffee and had good results?

I always make iced coffee, scoop of vanilla protein, 1/2 cup almond milk, 1/2 cup water, and instant coffee.. I love it have it every morning. I use the Isoflex, mixes perfectly.

Yeah, it's another way of selling garbage like waffles as being "healthy."

A good whole grain organic waffle is a great source of complex carbs, and a lot of them have 10-15 grams of protein in them....not bad really. I just steer clear of the syrup and other topics that quickly add fats and simple sugars.

Eddie are you on a low carb type of diet? I strive for a "medium" level of carbs each day...somewhere between 150-200g per day.

Protein powder that doesn't mix well is a sign of a low quality protein powder full of fillers. A good quality whey isolate will mix instantly.

Check the ingredients list on your current protein supplement. It most likely has a lot of cheap additives and fillers
