Creatine dose

Is it ok to do 10g of creatine a day? I know it says 5g but what would be the side effect of doubling up?
 
Increasing your dosage higher then 5g/day will provide no additional benefits but just increase the likelihood of developing gastrointestinal side effects.

Your body can only absorb so much. Once your muscle creatine phosphate stores are saturated, they are saturated. Any additional creatine is just going to sit in your GI tract and cause side effects
