DC training

So I've been doing some research looking for some different strength training methods and I came across DC training. I like the concept. Does anyone have experience with DC training? Pro's/Con's?

RickRock, CEO - I believe are big advocates of it, actually CEO turned me on to it.

GREAT SHOCK AND AWE TYPE TRAINING. Made phenominal strength gains on this, however taxes u pretty hard. I have personally found around 6 weeks to be my breaking point. Switch it up for a bit and revisit DC for another 6 week BLAST.

I have been doing DC for a week, rly like it as its shorter more effective than i was doing, i do DC on mon wed fri and hiit tues thurs sat, doing good for me

Been doing DC for a couple years now, other than a short break over the winter where I went back to a typical 5 day split during my winter cycle(big mistake). I actually have made more gains on my 200mg Test C cruise in the last 12 weeks than I did my entire cycle of Test/EQ/Tren over the winter. It's been the best training program I've ever used, and I'm a very big advocate of it. I just don't respond nearly as well to higher volume training, where DC has taken my strength and size to levels I've never accomplished with other programs.

As CEO said, in order for anyone to get the most out of DC you have to follow it EXACTLY like it is intended. That means brining the high intensity, going to absolute failure on the rest/pause sets and widowmakers, doing the extreme stretches, following the progressive overload principles by beating the logbook for every workout, proper exercise selection, switching out exercises when stalling out, and doing a proper Deload after a DC blast (usually after 8-12 weeks).

It may not be for everyone, but if you get good results from it, and do it like its supposed to be done, you will never look back!

Thanks for the replies. I think I may give it a whirl. Can't hurt anyways, other than the extreme stretching. But that's supposed to hurt so game on

I'll check it out...I do really enjoy running Gironda 8x8's tho...high volume with increasingly heavy weight so that by the end of it you are using the weight you normally would use for regular sets of 10 except you are cranking out sets with 15 seconds of rest between them...fantastic conditioning workouts at the same time

I liked every part of what I read but no interval training knd of sucks for me. I do see the purpous behind it though. Very nice approach to getting the most out of a workout and recovery.

I can honestly say that my strength isnt where it needs to be for DC, going to go with Layne Nortons power hypertrophy for a while till im strong enough for DC

Hey rick sorry to bring this topic back up but what if you were to do DC on say an LGD cycle starting the sarms on week 1 finishing week 12 you'd then have to finish your blast phase on DC while you're going through pct now for the cruise phase I was planning maybe 4-6 weeks of https://www.**************/training/10-secrets-to-building-mass this plan and maybe toying with the rep ranges as it's linear... what do you think?

Sorry didn't realize you can't do links but the programme is "10 secrets to building mass by Dan John"

To answer the question why do you think the style of training (DC aka DogCrap) would be relevant to using LGD?

Well because an LGD cycle is 8 to 12 weeks and dog crapp is done in 6 to 12 week cycles then you take some time off so your body can adapt to it again, Now if you started your LGD cycle during the 1st week of DC by the time you hit week 12 you'd have to take a break and do a different plan, would you loose results during pct because of that?

Actually pretty much all of that is wrong. ANY hypertrophy program can be made into a 12 week cycle if you want. I prefer 16 week strength cycles but that's a personal thing. DC training, as I understand it, at it's heart uses different exercises to hit the same muscle groups avoid adaption. I use a facet of this in my back work. Every time I train back (1 x a week) I'll use one of 5-6 different movements. So pulldowns one time, rows the next and so on.

Let's say, for a second, LGD IS usable over 8-12 weeks. That's still a big range (50%). And, of course, there's a bunch of SARMS which could be used and, subject to diet (much like roids), are simply a tool.

Finally, one of the roles of PCT is to stop you losing your gains.
