Have a show coming up and wanted to see if anyone has used these chems before in the lead up to a show?

I am not a fan of using diuretics at all. Too dangerous. I do not compete though. Muskate trains competitors for a living so he can give you a much better answer. He will chime in I am sure.

I never used them either and I've competed around 12-15 times over the last 4 decades. They sound too dangerous to me. Knew a guy that blacked out at the wheel of a car a day before the show, they took him to the hospital and pumped fluids in him like crazy. He was lucky. I don't know if guys still do this or not, but I would water load and extra gallon or so of water about 3 days before and then cut fluids down to 12oz total about 16 hours before they show. It's very uncomfortable because you're always thirsty but bodybuilding requires you to do some extreme things at times. Timing is critical and what worked for me might not work for you. But, the idea is to trick your body into dumping fluids via urinating even though you stopped taking fluids in. Some may consider this bro science, but it worked well for me and it took a couple of tries to get the timing down.

You want to use dyazide as it is potassium sparing.

Do you have a coach helping you? Unless someone very experienced is assisting you, I would not use diuretics. Things can start to get messy VERY fast once you start playing around with water, sodium and electrolyte levels. You can very easily put yourself in a coma if you don't know what you're doing.
