Electrolyte supps

Another thing i'm never thinking about.

I guess it wouldn't hurt any to take them but i do not often notice any mention about it in workout programs.
Is anyone adding electrolyte supplements to their daily intake or are you thinking we get enough from our
meals and other supplements?

Is it worth spending money on it?
 
the problem with these electrolyte drinks and supplements is the other crap in them. there is one brand i like called Ultima that i will use when i sweat out a lot plus i live in a hot climate. but most of you do not have to worry about electrolytes who don't sweat much because you will get them from your food already

you can also add some salt and cream or tartar to your water to give you electrolytes that way
 
Really depends how much you might be sweating during exercise or general day to day activities. I sweat a lot in general especially in the summer I always mix electrolyte powders with my water. Improves the taste of the water and helps the body so cant really go wrong!
 
I saw that the Australian football player drink pickle juice during the breaks. So there might be some to it if you do high intensity training.
