Long time creeper here looking for advice but first some quick background on me..
Lifting for 8 years regularly except for a few bouts with injury. Running for distance on and off for 8 years as well but consistently for the past 8 months.
I do have a understanding of diet and it's importance to any athletic or physique goal.
I'm trying to do a clean bulk with maintainable size and strength gains while minimizing the impact my running capabilities.
I understand that my running will take a step back as more muscle means more weight which means slower running but I do not run competitively so I don't mind sacrificing a little speed for size and strength.
From what I've read it seems like the best way to accomplish my goals would be to use test and eq (along with proper nutrition and training obviously).
I was planning to do a 13 week cycle:
Test E 500mg/wk - weeks 1-13 - 250 mg Monday/Thursday
Eq 600mg/wk - weeks 1-12 - 300mg Monday/Thursday
Aromasin 12.5 EOD - weeks 1-13 (Advice on this is welcome).
For PCT I was planning to follow the perfect pct protocol exactly as it was laid out.
Am I missing anything?
Should I stop the eq and test at the same time? (My thought process here was that eq has longer half life so should be stopped a week before but I'm also open to running the test longer.)
Are the doses enough?
I've heard mixed things on hcg, do I need it?
I am willing to obtain whatever support and pct is needed prior to starting this cycle.
***This would be my first cycle of any kind***
I know some are of the belief that first cycle should be test only but I do think (in my admittedly inexperienced opinion) that this is mild enough to run as a first cycle as long as no corners are cut on support and pct.
